As you saw from the video, my Purple Carrot experience was subpar at best. But, what happened next?
- As mentioned, I used the $90 credit towards another Purple Carrot box. The box was not delivered on Nov 3rd as promised. Instead, I received a box on Nov 17th.
- The box was missing a meal, and they gave me a $24 credit.
- While reporting the missing meal, I noticed that the next week was not skipped. However, they would only give me a partial refund.
- Dealing with this Purple Carrot is so much trouble that I am not using the credit nor sharing a free box with a friend. Can't wait to cancel and never use this company again.

Hey Shy! We heard you and Wanston from the House of X Entertainment talking about this video so we had to come check it out. We meal prep so finding a company that could do it for us would be lovely, but we have heard so many stories about delivery issues and we are nervous about it lol. They look pretty decent though! I stay trying to find coupons as well lol. The New York meme had us laughing. Sorry you had so many issues, but we appreciated the honest review. Very informative. Thanks for sharing! New sub!

You actually got a pretty decent deal for what you got, and you can always try a different meal delivery service (they almost all have really good deals for their first box)

Very informative....it's a good thing you're not alergic to eggs...whew! It's too bad getting the first weekly order to arrive within the specified time was such a hastle!

sorai, excellent review. I liked how you showed what the food was suppose to look like and what it actually looked like. The shipping issue I agree would deter me from using them. It seemed like the food was ok. While you were showing the labels I thought many had a lot of added sugars too.
It was nice you could try it again for not cost to you. How was the food when you got the new package?
You're right on the added sugar. Lol... Funny you should ask. My Nov 3 box disappeared and I am awaiting a box on Nov 17. I guess the shipping issues wasn't a one off.

I've never heard of Purple Carrot. I've heard of Jackfruit but have never tried it, what would you say it taste like. Great review!!
It's hard to describe, it really takes on whatever sauce you put on it... The texture is similar to pulled pork.

Great video Sorai. I have never heard of purple carrot before. Looks like they had some nice meal combinations. I have had jackfruit as carnitas and it was delicious. I was hoping you would try that one.
I agree with your review. Over a month to get a box then they put eggs in a vegan dish. They did the right thing and I know you're not strict but certainly not a great first impression. Get those free meals then cancel again for sure.
