Hey Food Box Family! Today we're unboxing, heating up, and taste testing LifeChef to give you our review of this pre-made meal delivery service.
LifeChef is one of the most unique meal delivery services that we've tried.
Their menu features a variety of options that cater to different dietary needs and preferences, such as Mediterranean diet, paleo, keto, DASH diet, gluten-free, dairy-free, and low-carb. Though, you'll want to be aware of the fact that they do prep and cook all of their meals in the same facility so there may be risk of cross-contact.
All of their meals are made with organic and non-GMO produce, grass-fed and pasture-raised meats, and sustainable seafood. Plus, their meals are free of preservatives, additives, and artificial flavors.
LifeChef works like most other pre-made meal delivery services. First, you choose your meal plan based on the number of meals you want per week and your dietary preferences. Then, you select your meals from their weekly menu, which is updated every Monday. You can even customize your meals by swapping out ingredients or adding extra protein.
One of the coolest things about LifeChef is their survey, which matches you to recommended meals. It's very in-depth, asking about everything from your height and weight to diet and taste preferences.
Once you've made your selections, LifeChef will prepare and cook your meals using their state-of-the-art kitchen facilities. Your meals are then packaged in eco-friendly containers and shipped directly to your door, ready to heat and eat.

Their website FAQ says they only serve a section of east coast from Massachusetts to Maryland.

Do the 70 items rotate or do the choices always remain the same?

Good question-they rotate in new meal "sections" (proteins, veggies, carbs). There isn't all new meals every week but you can mix/match to make new meals . Hopefully that makes sense!
