Love it. My grandma used to sing that song all the time when I was a kid.
I don't feel confident enough in my uku skills to try this one yet. I'll table this one and revisit it later.
Thank you, by the way, for the paint-brush strum. "Jambalaya" finally works for me with paint-brush.

Hey Angela! Have you tried "Snowbird" yet? You can play that one with two (or three) chords also. I did a tutorial for it a couple of months ago. You may like it. Kelly

I've been practicing along with you. With the tenor banjo tuned cgda.....buying the uke didn't go as planned. So the tuning I need is gcea. The Ukulele strings I need are nylon? Any chance in the future of you showing a tutorial for beginners for Over the Rainbow by Israel?
Looking forward to practicing with you in tune.
    Many Thanks.

That's too bad regarding your uke purchase...yep gCEA is the tuning on a standard uke. There are different materials the ukulele strings are made out of - all are "similar" to nylon. There's nylon, fluoro carbon, nylgut etc they all have their own characteristics and can be used interchangably on ukuleles. If I recall you have a tenor banjo? with a scale length around 20"? THat's close to a Baritone scale length if so. You may want to research gCEA baritone ukulele strings - I believe they are available - you may have to search around a little. The other option if you want to keep to a budget is to keep you r eyes open for a used Aklot or Kmise banjo uke. In the States they sell new on Amazon for less than $100 I think - you may even be able to pick one up used on Craigslist. They are pretty decent little instruments to get rolling on. I've owned a few of them. I did a review on a video about a year or so ago here I compared the Aklot to the Kmise and give you all the pros and cons on them. The Aklot only comes in concert scale where the Kmise you can get in concert or tenor. You may like the extra room of the Tenor ukulele scale after playing the longer scaled Tenor banjo. I've had Over the Rainbow on my list for a few years. I'll have to give it a whirl at some point. Good Luck!!

Nice! I'm getting a bit long in my remaining teeth, so maybe it's just me, but the Ukulele could maybe be a bit louder? To hear it I have to have you yelling down my ear!😂
