Heil PR781 vs Heil PR77D: Twitch Dynamic Mic Shootout!

Today we pit two VERY good dynamic mic's from our friends at Heil, against each other. The Heil PR781 vs Heil PR77D. Both are phenomenal dynamic mics with great sound and rear rejection. These mics both are built right here in the US by Heil themselves, and the quality is top tier. Both mics are cardioid polar pattern, feature premium builds, and are built for broadcast applications. The PR77D sounds even better if you get a bit closer, they have quite the warm and fat low end. However, they have a terrible internal windscreen and are very susceptible to plosives. They work best at 5-6 inch working distance, off axis.
