I've always wondered how well those little bluetooth OBD2 scanners worked. Now I'm going to get me one for sure! Thanks for trying it out!

I love you guys doing maintenance on that $500 car. It seems anything you do to that will make it run better. Great video and thanks for letting me know about you able to use your android phone.

FYI, those bluetooth adapters mostly don't work with Windows, the WiFi and USB ones do. FORScan is awesome on Windows, does a ton.
I'd like to see you repair the paint, that way I can show my wife why I want to pay to have it done. ;-)

Great tip about the OBDII. I know there are other little computers under the hood. Isn't there one that controls the gas efficiency? Any more tips planned for the more computer-y car elements? Michael seemed to be into it. I wish car computers were as simple to work on as building a PC.

They don't make manuals for my truck, but my truck is a Frankenstein with a chevy v8 in a dodge truck. Lol

I had a Triumph Stag w/ a Ford engine in it... hard to find manuals that cover those situations!

My truck came with a Slant 6 but I rebuilt a 454 cubic inch chevy engine for it.

Guys. to take it one step further, I think you should either vinyl wrap or Plasti Dip the car.

next time put the grease on the spark plug tip that the boot slips over and not the outside-bottom of the boot. this does nothing...

We were gonna Plasti Dip my truck, but you can't legally buy gallons of Plasti Dip in California... rattlecans, yes, but not gallons. #sostupid

patrick norton Thats a shame, that stuff is pretty interesting to work with. And on that beast of a diesel it would be fitting.

patrick norton just buy 18 of the 14.5 oz cans, that makes two gallons of pure Rubber Dip and cut it with Xyleen or VM&P. This mix will give you four sprayable gallons of Plasti Dip. I've been mixing my own for two years now. Iamthepuzzleman.com has more info if you need it.

Technology was cool in the early 2000s but working on cars lately I'm not thanking technology very often everything is harder on the new cars. I would rather work on an old car anyway.
