Top 15 Post Hardcore!!! Many other great bands had to be left off. This list is not perfect but in my opinion a great arrangement. I DO NOT OWN ANY RIGHTS TO THIS VIDEO
UNDEROATH YES. also people should stop labeling bands with whatever genre and all these subgenres, we all listen to different music that we like, we all have our own tastes. just stick with metal, we all listen to metal.
dude good stuff man. i loveeeee oceana. not a lot of people know about em. i felt proud of myself that i knew all but one band on that list. definately checking out we came as romans.
1, Asking Alexandria 2, Bring Me The Horizon 3, We Came As Romans 4, Of Mice & Men 5, Blessthefall 6, The Devil Wears Prada 7, We Are Defiance 8, Jamie's Elsewhere 9, Ready, Set, Fall! 10, A Day To Remember 11, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows 12,Of Machines 13, In Fear and Faith 14, Enter Shikari 15, Attack Attack!
Someone who actually knows Post-Hardcore good job at putting TDWP number 1. They're incredible. Only band you were missing was Fit For A King and Of Mice & Men.
@Noise4Satan i would have to say i agree with you in some ways, although these bands do have types of talent the style is just diff from prob what you where brought up on, i do like most of these bands and don't listen to it much anymore because every one of them that comes out sounds the same and takes styles from other bands and its kinda old, but i grew up on bands like Metallica, slayer, korn, soul fly and all them really good bands that kept that talent, so i see your point....
Because they suck cock. Seriously, that lead singer sounds like a pubescent schoolgirl. It's horrible! In my opinion of course, before the youtube police come and arrest me for having an opinion.
@DKonjetzky I didn't listen any longer to Asking Alexandria than 30 seconds. And btw, Emo isn't a genre of music as the singer of Rites Of Spring stated. And they were one of the first bands ever to be named emo.
all these bands are good and all. but only a couple are are post-hardcore. also, it pains me to read all the comments below this video, kids asking where the fuck Asking Alexandria, Attack Attack!, Memphis May Fire are. these bands are good too , but in no shape or form are post-hardcore. dig some Glassjaw, Hopesfall, Finch, The Blood Brothers, Emarosa, Senses Fail, Dead Poetic and Story of the Year.
Just Like to let you all know some killer bands Of mice and men Miss may I Memphis may fire Sleeping with sirens. Makes my drive to work more bearable....
Maybe, I don't think they get more credit than they deserve and I agree with you that there are some bands that are better, but Asking Alexandria is still an amazing band
Eh..... I don't think Dance Gavin Dace should be there, you forgot about a lot of good bands. The Plot In You, Memphis May Fire, Escape The Fate (Craig), For The Fallen Dreams, For All Those Sleeping, I See Stars, Like Moths To Flames, Jamies Elsewhere, Senses Fail, Secrets, Tear Out The Heart, The Word Alive, and Of Mice & Men. All should be there....
I actually agree with williamControl1994, mostly these bands can be considered as "Metalcore" or "metal..."...shit - fuck - whatever. Still a good arrangement of bands though ;) But IMO if it comes to "post-hardcore", bands like La Dispute, Alexisonfire, and Boysetsfire are absolutley missing in that list.
Matt Bird Sempiternal is the only one that is merely like pop-punk. I'd hardly say Count your blessings and Suicide Season are pop-punk. Unless Sempiternal is what you were referring to which now makes me look like an idiot.
I find it funny that there is a subgenere titled post-hardcore....eventhough hardcore still exists through bands like Ceremony, Defeater, Earth Crisis. Etc.
@MisterSumthinorOt Genres - got a good reason to be there. Or would you recommend someone who looks for bands like heaven shall burn to listen to eminem, just cause both are music artists? there are major differences between metalcore & post hardcore. just the hairsplitting differences between "brutal deathcore" and "chugchug deathcore" are ridiciously stupid, i agree.
how could you use this genre to this, these bands are shitty popbands, the sound dont make them hardcore ....i didnt heard hardcore here, nor post-hardcore, post-hardcore bands are Fugazi,Into Another, Quicksand, Supertouch,Guilt,Drive Like Jehu, etc
I'm familiar with post-rock as a genre (red sparowes, cult of luna, isis, russian circles, gru, maybe cloudkicker?), but what is post-hardcore? my friend said that At The Drive-In is post-hardcore. someone throw me a definition.
@ItzAmufn Not even. Post-Hardcore is wayyyyy more alternative and hardcore influenced than metalcore. And also utilize clean vocals more often that metalcore. The only metalcore band that was posted that's even legitimately close to being Post-Hardcore is TDWP.. And that's stretching it man..
duuuude alll these bands are freakin metalcore. influenced off of metal. post hardcore is influenced off of hardcore punk. hardcore is short for hardcore. understand your terms and sounds. dude, post hardcore is bands like Silverstein, Senses Fail, Story Of The Year, Thursday
you guys looking for a better post hardcore band listen to pay money to my pain they are perhaps one of the best they are japanese but sing in english they top all the post hardcore bands preferably listen first to sweetest vengeance then weight of my pride be sure to listen to them i guarantee you won't regret it all their songs are good but first listen to those two
Watch video called Evolution of Post-Hardcore (1983 - 2013) if you want to understand what post-hardcore sounds like.
UNDEROATH YES. also people should stop labeling bands with whatever genre and all these subgenres, we all listen to different music that we like, we all have our own tastes. just stick with metal, we all listen to metal.
dude good stuff man. i loveeeee oceana. not a lot of people know about em. i felt proud of myself that i knew all but one band on that list. definately checking out we came as romans.

adDoo Hell I think this video was made before they got in the scene
Someone who actually knows Post-Hardcore good job at putting TDWP number 1. They're incredible. Only band you were missing was Fit For A King and Of Mice & Men.

I miss a skylit drive
Why is I See Stars missing from this list??
Because they suck cock. Seriously, that lead singer sounds like a pubescent schoolgirl. It's horrible! In my opinion of course, before the youtube police come and arrest me for having an opinion.
They aren’t post hardcore
Hardcore never die !
Me and my friend are getting a band together. METALCORE FOR THE WIN!!!!!
Im glad that Dance Gavin Dance got the ranking that they did, i just think that they completely OWN TDWP. Oh well, this kid still has my respect.
@DKonjetzky
Parkway Drive - Metalcore
Dance Gavin Dance - Post Hardcore
If you can't tell the difference you gotta be close to being deaf.
2 things:
1: August Burns Red, BMTH and TDWP are metalcore....
2: This video needs more Vanna.
hola me ha gustado mucho el top 15, felicidades

As said by battledino: None of this is post hardcore -.-
@TDBmusic1 yes ! i love vanna !
I actually agree with williamControl1994, mostly these bands can be considered as "Metalcore" or "metal..."...shit - fuck - whatever. Still a good arrangement of bands though ;)

Etc.
This is supposed to be hardcore? I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
@MisterSumthinorOt
Genres - got a good reason to be there.

Neither of you can talk if you're metalcore of post-hardcore fans.
That's it. I'm making a top Ponycore bands video to settle all this arguing.
I'm familiar with post-rock as a genre (red sparowes, cult of luna, isis, russian circles, gru, maybe cloudkicker?), but what is post-hardcore? my friend said that At The Drive-In is post-hardcore. someone throw me a definition.

@ibutterthebread666 "Who cares what genre they are?" \Well, if a ton of people are complaining, then that should answer your question.
I feel like Alexisonfire should be on here
Sorry, I don't notice sarcasm on youtube lol
@CerebroCongelado54 Only the oldschool BMTH is deathcore. They got soft and now they're metalcore(pretty much the same thing as post-hardcore).
@AsianTylerr No, BMTH is Deahtcore AND Metalcore.
you guys looking for a better post hardcore band listen to pay money to my pain they are perhaps one of the best they are japanese but sing in english they top all the post hardcore bands preferably listen first to sweetest vengeance then weight of my pride be sure to listen to them i guarantee you won't regret it all their songs are good but first listen to those two
Post Hardcore guys
This isn´t post-hardcore. You have no idea what post-hardcore is.
Fugazi is post-hardcore.
