Aurora Borealis via drone! - Plymouth, MA and the Cape Cod Canal

The Canal, The Mayflower II and Plymouth Harbor all showcased here!
With the clouds dominating the sky all day it looked like my hopes of filming this rare event, and seeing it with my own eyes was dashed. Hopeful for something, I used the drones 360 mode to see all around the area if anything was showing - before up until that point something I had only seen in photos or movies- Here I am photographing something I thought I would have to travel far and wide to see in my own back yard! Sure some of the shots are a bit out of focus due to the long exposure and the breeze that was present but what a sight to see and something I am proud to have captured - especially with a drone!
