Thanks coach I really appreciate your straightforward tips that are well, explained clean and quick. Thanks for your “low hype/no hype” I look forward to digging in to more of your videos! I’ve got a mountain of items to sell and my wife said I need to stop buying and start selling 😊. She’s right, got so much stuff that we can’t park the car in the garage any more! Thanks again for the great videos. Dave
New to watching Justin’s videos, I wish I had seen some of these videos before I started selling on eBay. I’m finding plenty of info that helps sellers at any level.
I def agree with you about sharing on social media. It is spamming, no good. I was talking to someone near me in the Philadelphia area and he told me facebook wanted him to share with 30 people. I said that's no good at all.
I agree. Plus, the biggest thing is that all of your friends and relatives would just get really annoyed with you. Lol they’re probably not really interest in what you’re selling anyway. I have found the best way to sell on eBay is just to list, and let the people that are interested in the product find it and purchase it. Unless you have a very niche / curated shop it probably doesn’t really benefit much to post a social media.
What determines if someone who is watching the item is actually “interested” and can receive an offer? I had an item that had a large amount of watchers but when I sent an offer, I was only able to send an off to roughly half the amount of watchers.
Great question. Items must be in the buyer’s cart for at least 2 days to send an offer. More than likely, the people that are watching that you couldn't send the offers to were just watching the item and didn't actually have it in the cart. I hope this helps! ~ Justin
Just started listing items on Friday, I have made a couple of sales already, very exciting. Can you do a 10% discount if you do not have a store? I plan to have one down the road as my business grows.
Hi Della! That's awesome that you already are making sales. It sounds like you're a natural! To run sales, you'll have to have a subscription to an ebay store. Once you do, you'll have access to the Markdown Manager function as well as all of the other marketing and sales tools. A store subscription may seem a ways off, but at the rate you're going, you'll be there soon. eBay has many different store levels, which makes it great to scale as you grow. Once you get enough listings up it's crazy not to open a store because you actually end up saving money (store get breaks on selling fees). I'll try to make a video explaining the store benefits soon and how to grow with them as well. In the meantime, here's a few eBay's links that shows store fees and benefits: pages.ebay.com/seller-center/run-your-store/subscriptions-and-fees.html www.ebay.com/sub/subscriptions I hope this helps! ~Justin

Do you have a FB group for beginners and sellers?

Max offer sent is going to be only 30. We have a listing that sold hundreds over the span of years and accumulated hundreds of watchers.
