THE WATCHERS Ending Explained

One of the characters in The Watchers turns out to be someone other than what they seemed at first. Ishana Night Shyamalan, daughter of M. Night Shyamalan, made her directing debut with this supernatural horror film, which was adapted from a book by A.M. Shine. Despite the mostly unfavorable reviews of The Watchers, it's likely that audiences will still go to the cinemas to see the picture

I think Im just going to watch this again. I feel like the ending is going over my head, but what an amazing film! Worth another viewing

I think I fully understood it, but it was weird how they didn't really explain the end. I enjoyed it, but not as much as others. I do think, however, there is a good backbone of a story here. If you liked this I highly recommend "The Hallows". I don't want to give too much away but a similar concept from the origin of this story.

Leaving the end like that is a farce. It's quite idiotic to plug something in at the end with no payoff just to promote a sequel. After the first half... The movie was shallow. Please don't continue. It will only get silly at this point. Some things are better left unsaid.
