The reason that words stay on screen for so long in their trailers is that BMC doesn't realize that everyone else in the world has surpassed a 4th grade reading level.

Eh, even if you hadn;t put any effort into it, aslong as you weren't charging money or trying to sell anything at all, and just made something for fun, there's no wrong in it.
Problem here is that these are trailers for games... being sold in a platform made for games of value and competence... and this kind of content is what floods the platform and makes good games struggle for relevance.
Remember that one kid in high school who desperately wanted to be liked and REALLY thought he was funny when he was just awkward and his attempts at being funny were cringe inducing and they would brag about all their projects and talents not because they were excited or were actually going to do them, but because they desperately wanted people to be impressed by them? Also I'm all for people having fun and doing the vidja garmes, but they're clogging the system. Put this on itch.io or something. Further these kids need the cold hard truth. Not only we don't have many black people here, but they mostly live in big cities like Montreal. In the suburbs(were these kids seems to originate from) and the many villages were I lived, I don't get to see black people... Well, really it's no surprise. DH could use all the friends they could get. But like everything else they do, they look to the lowest of the low. And of course "developers" like these would be in some way tied to that company. It is sad because in high school I did this kind of stuff as a joke or to make actual talented, funny videos just for sheer passion of doing it. I have been in direct contact with Alain of BMC studios. I have found out a lot about them. I really TRIED to help them, keyword T R I E D. There are a few things I can share, that I learned about them. BMC is a Dev that is "cart before horse" kind of Dev. They think that greenlight is a place to pitch concepts. They wish to make a good game, but not before being greenlight, or showing us what they can do. Crazy. I found out the biggest thing of all recently, though: They are ACTIVELY CONNECTED with James and Robert. Before their recent partnership. After KJU sim, DH apparently gave them advice to get greenlit. Also, Jim, the MWD trailer is supposed to BE the game. If people actually read this, feel free to ask me anything.

As unfunny and cringey as this is, I don't have a problem with the stuff itself. Stick it on Newgrounds or something or just put the skits on UA-cam, who cares. The issue comes from the fact that Steam is supposed to be a professional storefront. This is one of the least professional things in the universe, with incredibly massive amounts of copyright infringement and generally atrocious quality, and yet Steam doesn't care. That's what I have a problem with.
