Good thing that Bruce Wayne found his father‘s diary at the same spot in the Batcave where he landed when he fell into it when he was running outside Wayne Manor crying in a thunderstorm because he lost his parents to a criminal who wanted the pearl necklace Bruce‘s mother was wearing. It was so terrible for Bruce to see that happen in front of him and he couldn‘t save them.
Joker/Jack Napier killed them...and created a dark view of the world for Bruce. And It’s a shame to know that even tho he finished Joker off in the first movie, he was never the same since. I think witnessing a young Robin lose his parents at the hands of Two-Face in the circus triggered a lot of haunting memories he was trying to forget...
I love Batman Forever, but this should've been kept in the movie, along with Two-Face's escape from Arkham intro. It's a symbol of Bruce's destiny that he is Batman, forever.

So let me get this straight here, you break in to Bruce Wayne’s house and destroy presumably all of his Batman gear, shoot him in the head and then you expect “Batman” to come after the girl? Smh
I'm sure that big bat is not the same bat he saw as a child who inspired him to use a bat-like appereance. Is like a mental manisfestation or representation of his Batman alter ego or self. I mean he doesn't remembered being Batman after he was shot and he wanted to stop being Batman to protect Dick and have a normal life with Chase, but he never faced why he became the Batman: it was never his fault of his parents death but he always blamed of that and the blame was a core of his crusade as Batman escaping from the truth; that's why he suffered of repressed memories in the film by the way. By knowing finally the truth after reading his dad journal, he accepted the truth of himself and the Bat appeared: he finally accepted Batman by choice, not by obligation, and all of his memories as Batman were restored.

Zorro has been a part of the Batman mythos since nearly the very beginning of the character. It's a Zorro movie that the Waynes took Bruce to see on the night of their deaths. Zorro was a huge inspiration for Bruce putting on the cape & cowl. Also, the giant bat in this deleted scene is neither "demonic" nor "satanic", but rather a personification of the fear that Batman creates in criminals, as well as a visual way to show the rawest form of Batman separate from Bruce (at least that's my interpretation. This scene can be interpreted in a few different ways). The bat creature is most likely not even real, but rather a visualization of Bruce confronting & reforming with the Batman aspects of his personality.
@@wesleywiggins958 Good you got that interpretation of the giant bat, but it's a little too much to think into it, isn't it?... That's likely why they got rid of it. Too philosophical of a Batman after all.

Batman forever should have had this scene restored
It should have had all deleted ones restored
Why would they delete this? Makes no sense at all.

If this wasn’t deleted, it would have easily been the best scene in the movie

Woww cant believe I've never seen this. Batman Forever was underrated. Not great but definitely not a bad movie at all

Riddler knows that Batman is resourceful.
Always think that big bat is not a bat or Man-Bat, is like a mental manifestation of Batman in his purest form.

I saw this in the theatre and saw the extended jacket scene where Riddler injected Chase with the large needle. Shame it was taken out.
Batman Forever featuring Two-Face, Riddler, and Man-Bat
Adding this part of the score to this scene was an excellent touch

The scene at 4:26 I believe was used in the trailer.
That book remained under a hole, where rain can fall directly on it, left there for years and it's only dusty and the pages are not soggy and moldy.
Lloré,es como si Thomas Wayne lo hubiera escrito para su hijo, como en Flashpoint Paradox, sacaron las mejores escenas de está película
This Scene along with the Opening Would have been Fantastic! Why cut them?
The reason why the scenes were cut,is because Warner Bros thought they were too dark for this movie.
For after night comes day but inevitably after Day comes Knight!!

I swear I've seen it too.

The music is beautiful but I am glad this scene wasn't in the final product.
WHY
For one it is gross in a way, and two it bares nothing to the overall story of the movie which is probably why it was excluded.
