    You are a trooper DeDe for listening to your neighbors music all day. I would be telling them it disturbs your clients pets. They should be a little more understanding but you are the one that has to deal with them. Good luck! 🤟🌺

    you are right dede a waging tail doesn't always mean they are happy and she was giving you looks of wanting to bite. Have a good day Dede🙂

      Whoyouaregoingtocallcallghostbusters Yep, tail wagging only means a dog is feeling more hyper, which can be because of anything from delight to aggravation or anxiety.

    I have an IrishDoodle, a.k.a. Irish Setter/Standard Poodle, puppy. He is 19 weeks old. I have been brushing him every day since he was 12 weeks old. Two weeks ago, I took her to a local groomer and she purposely tried to aggravate my service dog in training by continuously using the blow dryer in his ear. He just tried to get away from her. I was so mad. I was proud of him for behaving so well at his First grooming session, but now I am leery of someone traumatizing my dog for kicks. I went to school for cosmetology. Now that I found your videos, I am going to educate myself so that I can groom my doodle. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    Well done! I was specifically looking for technique and learning to groom the mouth area of my doodle. You did a great job where other videos just seem to SKIP over that very important area. Thank you. You're very patient and tuned in to the dog and the people, not many groomers are good at BOTH. I would never have the patience to groom other people's pets when they aren't taking care to groom them between visits. It's not good for the dog nor the groomer. You're a saint, your matted clients would say thank you if they could talk.

    Dogs have a sort of sign language all their own When you get to know animals you can learn the sign language. This dog is seding messages like crazy and is ready to make a meal out of Dede and she has been here befor, and that is the reason for the muzzle and the assistant and the collar.

  • @jenetikitty
    @jenetikitty 6 років тому +11

    "Do you want to get to work?"
    Doggo immediatly turns its back to Dede and starts pawing the muzzle off like a pro.

  • @nanikai6029
    @nanikai6029 4 роки тому

    DeDe is a Pro Groomer but this mini Doodle is the Pro with the muzzle and will try to take it off every opportunity. Whenever DeDe moves you can tell she’s wanting to try. If I could’ve muzzled my girl I would’ve early on because she bit me a couple of times when I was trimming her nails. I just kept at it and when she would try to bite I would put a collar on her or grab a pillow off my bed and put it between me and her. I would keep either clipping, filing, or using the dremel. She disliked all of it. Now I can do it all because she knows she gets lots of love ❤️💝 and her treat when we’re done.

    I do not understand why a mini golden doodle needs a zap collar to train it to stop barkimg or biting. We have our first mini,after 24 yrs of Samoyed lobe,and she learns quickly to not back when we command - she was fantastic in our camp ground on her first camping trip. 10 months old,barked at other dogs or people passing by, but as I said we asked or told her to stop and she did. Next time a passerby came along, she didn't bark or only once or twice and stopped when we asked. Goldendoodles are remarkably easy to train of you do it right. She knows we are Alphas and love her and wants to please.

    Awww..Dede would it be helpful if the pet parent practiced at home by just turning on a shaver around her to start, while petting her at the same time. She would hear the noise but feel the touch of her owner? Could that work? I just started watching so I don't know what the end result is or your suggestions.

    I have had dogs in the past, mostly short hair. I watch just because I enjoy watching. the before and afters are great. Please do not take this the wrong way. You seemed to be more relaxed in this video and not as 'talkative'. It was nice to just watch you work without the stress. I love that you are passing on information to the masses, but could you also do a few more laid back dogs? I just like to watch grooming being done. I know you have to have some 'good' dog parents by now, right?!

    You're brave-combing the muzzle and trimming the face after all that sneering/snarling twitching when you were using the clippers on the body.I'd ask the owners to run them with a couple of balls for an hour at least,before the groom.Dog groomer is an unusual occupation in the UK.I'd never heard of it as a profession till quite recently and the popularity of the "doodle" mixes with those who are allergic to pet dander.People who had poodles used to know of dog trimmers I suppose,but only those.Even pyranean mountain dogs got coats cut by their owners.

    Get a treadmill and have this owner come in 30 minutes early to put his dog on it and walk and run to calm her down. She looked much calmer after 35 minutes into the groom, must have used up all that nervous energy.

      Tear stains are actually caused by dye in dog food. The only real way to rid of them completely is to feed a raw or home cooked food. Filtered water will help some.

    Several things....
    #1 it is not called a zap collar it is an ecollar. This is not properly fitted on the dog either. An ecollar should always sit high on the neck right behind the ears.
    #2 you never just “shock” your dog over and over again and expect them to learn what you are trying to teach them. Dogs must be reinforced with praise/rewards more then a correction. Correcting a dog with an ecollar should only be done when the dog understands what you are asking but is being stubborn or choices not to do the task.
    #3 I am for ecollar and other formes of correction however this should always be done only when consulting a trainer. My own dog has used an ecollar for 2 years and now no longer requires to use it because we used it in the proper way it was designed to be used in as well as using it in conjunction with a responsible trainer.
    If you have questions about how to properly place or use an ecollar please consult an ecollar manufacturer such as Dogtra.

    Why would you sell and SUPPORT pinch and zap collars? Is your motive to hurt dogs? The right way to train dogs is to ignore bad things, especially Goldendoodles that like to please others. My dog used to jump onto people, but then we gave her no attention, so she stopped. First educate yourself about dogs then give information, you inhumane person! Guys please stop supporting this, dogs are miracles of the world, and they won’t do things that they know are discouraged, there is no need of zapping or hurting them.
