Citynews also has stop this nonsense of projecting police officers as racist or bullies because when someone who is not in their right frame of mind will do just what this man did. Watch your words as words can harm.
When are we finally going to wake up to what will actually work 24/7 and not have to lose anywhere near the amount of people to crimes or ignorance any more.
It’s virtually impossible to feel anything but laughter when I read about these jackbooted thugs getting a taste of what they dole out on a daily basis. To borrow from Malcolm X... As an old farm boy, chickens coming home to roost never made me feel sad...in fact, it made me feel glad... These are the same costumed cowards who would gladly follow any order, no matter how unconstitutional, deprive you of your rights and freedoms under colour of law, and happily dump boxes of bullets into you if you failed to surrender whatever freedom government demands you do.
Families need to be proactive in their childrens mental health and do the right thing. These young adults must be in a hospital if they are showing signs of being a danger to themselves or others. Don't wait until your child goes all the way to the dump to get them help. I know this from experience with my own son it is difficult but as a loving and caring Mother, I do what is right for everyone including myself. An early intervention by this young man's family would have spared the lives of these officers and it's heartbreaking on all sides.
The world is full of monsters with friendly faces. My condolences to the officer’s families and the community. A huge thanks to the first responders. May their souls RIP.🙏
Omg this is beyond sad!! I can’t imagine the pain and shock everybody is in!! These two gentlemen woke up going about their jobs only to have their lives ripped from them. It’s not fair!! 😞🥺😢😭
How is it any less fair for them then anyone else? There job is exponentially less dangerous then a ton of other jobs but no one cares when a construction worker dies on the job which happens every single day in canada
Maybe the old grandparents are the criminal playing fault this crime they should check the the young guy bullet power in his hand to prove also the old grandparents.
If the cops actually went downstairs towards their executioner that is not the way to do it. They were either poorly trained or the department has very bad Standard operating procedures. Hopefully a full investigation will be conducted and they will learn from this.
After 2 years of enforcing lock downs and laughing when people were trampled in Ottawa this is not news . The community is so divided police have lost all respect
They are sensoring comments I'm pretty sure they removed mine I can't see it anymore that's disgraceful of a news company to do sensor people's free speech
If police hadn't created the distrust within communities maybe people would result to taking action into their own hands. Maybe one day when police are held accountable across the board and not protected by the justice system and the agencies they work for we will finally see an end to officers dying in the line of duty or at least a reduced amount. Even though being a police officer isn't even in the top twenty most dangerous jobs in our country only about 30 officers a year die on the other hand 3 construction workers die every day on average in Canada. The agencies did the actions to create the distrust over years and years and have abused their power to a point where citizens are more willing to act this way towards police it's sad and the agencies are the only ones to blame you poke a bear (citizens) long enough with abuse and corruption and then your surprised when the bear fights back.
That's so sad 😥
The community is safer now.
Very sad, prayer for the families
It not tragic when they are corrupt

Well said, totally agree
Maybe the fools create the distrust not the police. Its easier to blame the guys in uniform then the bonehead committing the crime.
What happens when unarmed innocent people are shot by police.
Definitely doesn't go viral within hours of the incident that's for sure!
welcome to Vancouver where the cops are practicing shooting at the homeless and poor on the streets
