I finally got this bag! I absolutely loved it when I saw it online, and then found your videos about it. This is definitely my new fav! The front pocket is life! haha! I agree 110%! I saw the monogram on another youtubers channel when it came out. When I saw your DE version, I KNEW that was it. I have traveled with it, and it holds a ton, has the zip option, and is a little trooper. Great bag!
Ugh! I couldn't watch the entire video because my 2 small dogs went crazy when they heard the dog barking. I love this bag. I love it so much that I bought the DamIer Azure and a couple of months later decided to add the Monogram to my collection. I was crushed when I learned that it had been discontinued.
I bought the Iena 2 years ago as a retirement gift to myself ( I was a teacher.) It was my first luxury handbag and I had done a ton of research. Actually, I was going to buy the Totally but when I went into the boutique, the SA said it had been discontinued (she only had the pm in stock) and brought out the Iena. I was flummoxed! I thought I had landed on the perfect bag and now what do I do? Do I go home and do more research or trust my instincts? I compared it to the Neverful
In the shop and the front zip pocket and the zip closure sealed the deal! Of course when I went home I did research ...to reaffirm that I had made a wise purchase... and boy oh boy was I glad that I stumbled on your channel! I went and looked at this bag last fall because of your previous videos. I thought at time I would bring it home and try it. Fell in love with the zippered closing and front pocket and my Neverfull has really taken a back seat when a tote is required. Really appreciate your videos . Think the Azur in this style would be nice also as a summer tote.
I just got the Iena in the smaller PM size, and I love it! I first saw the bag when watching your videos, and could tell it would be a great carefree, everyday bag. It's much less common than the Neverfull, and much better, not only because of the zipper, but also the outside zip pocket, which, as you say, is "everything", and is rare on an LV bag. Great review, I also feel zippers are very important and bags like this that can be use zip open or closed are a plus. Amazon does have great felt organizers, I have several, just because I carry different size bags, and I’ve never gotten one that I’ve not been perfectly satisfied with. BTW, this is a bag we don’t often see, so it’s another great option.😃

Hello! My corners are doing very well, actually. I was worried about that, as well. I now have the Iena in both the damier ebene and the monogram. I don't use them all the time, but I use them enough to know they are holding up nicely.
Hi Jennifer, apologies if I’ve asked you this before but do you remember if the IENA had anywhere to hang a Louis Vuitton bag charm? I don’t remember noticing a spot when I tried it on in the store before it was discontinued? I have one of those LV Fernie bag charms that hooks on with what I guess some people would call a gold key fob? It hung well off my totally because the square pieces that the handles attached to on the bag, were wider or larger a tad. Please let me know as well as whether you’ve heard anything about where in tear on that particular bag. I believe you sold yours but if you’ve heard anything through the forums, I’d love to know. I realize I’d have to buy pre-loved at this point and the two sides I trust never have either it or the totally in excellent or like new condition. I didn’t jump on the Iena when it came out because I just didn’t feel like it felt as substantial as the totally. I felt more rubbery; the handles felt thinner (although not as thin as the never full) and it just seems like a cheaper quality version of the bag with the 1+ being the back zippered pocket. So I passed on it and now they don’t have a single tote with a zipper and outside pockets with two straps to fit comfortably over the shoulder that don’t require one of those detachable straps. I’ve tried every one of their bags and not been able to find what I learned through expensive trial and error, was the style of bag that works best for me, which is the totally tote or something design just like it. My Chanel grand shopper only has a zipper in the center and they never Ville has no zipper it all in one lousy pocket inside and thin straps so it’s too heavy on my shoulder. I’m not opposed to their leather bags and on several but several are so heavy because of the quality of the leather but if I put anything in them, it hurts my shoulder! Help!

Jennifer, I JUST called LV yesterday about the measurements listed online for the Iena PM. I am thinking of ordering the Damier Azur Iena PM. The measurements online vs my own Iena were way off. There is a significant height difference: 9" on my bag compared to 18.1" online. The associate told me the online height measurement includes the straps. To which I asked---how am I suppose to know that?? My Neverful measurements are right on with the online measurements - which do not include the straps for the height. She said it was confusing - ya think? Love my Iena!! Paula

I’m considering buying this bag, but I worry about the canvas where the straps are sewn on. Have you experienced any rips where the straps are sewn?

I love this bag but the one thing keeping me from buying it is the lack of feet on the bottom I've noticed LV putting feet on fewer and fewer of their bags Guess they're cutting corners to save money, but I think it cheapens the whole look Just MHO.
I was so exited to finally get the Iena 💖 but then it has an awkward smell 🥴 a bit like plastic 😟 I did an exchange that was delivered today - but it has a smell too. It seams like they send me the same bag back?! 😲 ( there was a tiny little stitching on the bottom that’s not perfect, so I’m really sure it’s the same bag)
Has anybody make the same experience? I’m thinking of venting the bag for a few days ...🙄 I really love the Iena and wonna keep it
I loved your video. I have the exact Iena that is less then 2 years old (20 mths) and I adore this bag also. Yesterday I was checking the corners and I noticed one of them the canvas has a nick in it. I was heart broken and so upset. It was my first ever LV purchase. I live 6 hours from the nearest LV store. If I did call or go they would probably say it’s just normal wear. I know they can’t repair canvas. What do you think. Should I put some glue on the spot so it doesn’t spread?
I have the Iena monogram MM and except for the gradual patina, , it’s exactly how I got it. No wear showing and the straps are absolutely fine . Love this bag. It’s much nicer than a no zip Neverfull .
Have the same bag for 6 months and love it! Ideal for work as I love the compartments and the zip. I did doubt my choice initially and thought about replacing it with the never full but I am glad that I kept it now. I still don’t have the courage to use it everyday as I went to keep it in perfect condition but am hoping to develop the courage to overcome this.

I love this bag. I bought mine just after you published your video- when you got the DE. I feel the handle drop is a bit longer than the neverful. And mine is in pristine condition, too- I do notice the corners are turning black a little bit. It’s a keeper for sure! 😊

I love mine too and it seems they may have discontinued it which is a shame as it was removed from the LV (Aus) website about a week ago! Was stalking the website for it as my sister wanted one too!
Great video. I love this bag. I actually just ordered one yesterday. My store is out of stock so they are looking for one for me. Can't wait. I like this bag so much better than the Neverfull. I feel like EVERYBODY has a Neverfull, and there are way too many fakes being made of the Neverfull. They are everywhere.

I do love this bag. I still have not used mine one time. Don’t know why I purchased it other than loving it. I only carry my wallet and a LV key pouch to carry a small power compact and a small lipstick. I still plan on selling it. I have the monogram one. I then purchased the crossbody South Bank Besace and dearly love it. Glad you still love yours.

Love love love the Iena. Funny you mention the mono being discounted Bc of the straps...mine is out for repair right now! Since I got mine, one strap frayed due to the zipper and me never closing it but I had to send it off Bc the strap actually split!! Not in just one spot either! It's awful Bc the Iena has vachetta but they clearly treated it Bc it wrinkles and feels like plastic. Terrible terrible! Hoping when I get mine back they used raw vachetta.
Oh, that is strange that your vachetta straps are different than normal vachetta. I wonder if they are trying to find a way to make vachetta less vulnerable to water spots and so forth? I sure hope you get yours back just the way you want it. Keep me posted!

I would suggest the Iena for an everyday work bag. I love the compartments, the zip top and the front zip pocket! Perfect for errands and work, etc.

Yes, I do think it would fit beautifully! I use that organizer in almost all my bags, including my Speedy 30 and Birkin 30 which are similar in size to the interior of the Iena pm.

Can I know how to spot Iena monogram fake or real?
I suppose you could use all the usual "spot a fake LV" tips found on google. (pattern lines up at the seams, stitching clues...and that sort of thing) Perhaps you could get it authenticated via photos.
Can you put a 13in MacBook Pro in it?
I can get my 15" in there (kinda sideways), so I'm sure a 13" would fit even better!

I wonder if the reason your bags don't seem to see a lot of wear is because you primarily drive places, whereas some people take their bags on the train/buses/etc. Still, loved your video! Dogs that thing they own the world are such a pain 😂 Our neighbors ended up getting a barking training that emits a high pitched noise whenever they bark because we complained about it.
My hubby got this tote for me on mother's day and I love it! I wanted a bigger tote since I have an infant and soon to be toddler and I don't want to haul 2 bags. After watching your videos for about 2 or 3 weeks, I decided to get this tote. The strap is comfortable as my totally pm. Thank you for your sharing your videos it really helped me decide on which tote to buy.
