I bought the Iéna for my mom over a year ago and she adores it. The straps now have a bit of a shine like you mentioned. It still looks new and she uses it everyday.

Let you know how it is. I haven’t got an organiser for now, will wear it for a bit and see if I want one. I feel like it takes away space from the bag and I like my bags looser. Just my weird preference 😀😀

Ok, I'm sold! When the Totally came out in Damien Ebene I've had my heart set on it ever since. This is really a hybrid of the Totally and NF. Perfect work bag for me!

This is exactly what I was looking for! I don't like the Neverfull MM on myself, and was looking at the Totally MM but was on the fence about it. Came across the Iena on the LV website and liked it but was hoping it would come out in DE; a quick search on UA-cam for reviews and I found you! Thank you! I'm so glad I waited and didn't settle for the Totally or Iena Mono. Will order this when it comes out online or, even better, if I can get to the store first :)
I have heard that a few people are finding it in stores now, and others tell me their LV sales people say they've never heard of it and it "doesn't exist". If you ask about it by calling the website number, they will say it doesn't exist in DE. Try to find a boutique or store that has it or will order it for you before the release date. ( Item #N41013) Good luck! :)

I have a huge love for my de neverfull mm and I've been eyeballing the speedy B in monogram but you've convinced me to save toward the iena in monogram bc i really want the tote function and it will be nice to have that zip I wanted out of the speedy! ❤

This bag was NEVER on my radar but I love it in the DE instead of mono. Although I'm more of a monogram girl. But you make me interested in this bag. I love totes & I love my Neverfull. You're vids are great!

Quick question: what made you pick this bag in size mm instead of pm since you already own the never full mm for travel?
I always try to hurry so I'm not boring people to tears...! Lol. I always wanted the Neverfull MM to have a zipper top and outside pocket, and I love the size. So the Iéna is like a wish come true! :)

Great comparison video! I went back and watched your videos on the duhmo too. I wanted a zipper bag more for travel that fits a ton of stuff. If you had to choose between the IENA and duomo which would it be?
I guess it would depend on whether or not you want a hands-free cross body for travel, or a shoulder bag. By the way, the Duomo cross body bag has been discontinued and now can only be found on the preloved market (such a bummer!!). I do think the Iéna is a PERFECT travel bag! :)
I love your lena. It's exactly the size of handbag I use. I have never had a Louis Vitton but may think about that one!!!

Oh, wow, it fits everything and more. Love how it's both suitable for traveling as well as day-to-day use. I feel like my Neverfull (GM though) is a bit too big/bulky to use on a everyday basis, even though I'm a big bag kinda gal. Thank you for the great comparison! Also wondering, what bag shaper do you use for the Neverfull and Speedy?

Thanks for the comparison video i knew this would eventually come in DE ! Yay!! Anywho i was wondering if you could on IG or wherever or next video show the other side of the bag...? I like it but im not sure about having the zippered part facing out maybe towards my body i know sounds weird.... but yea didnt know if the other side looked just as good or maybe cute with a bag charm or bandeau... ?Also which would you choose classic neverfull mm or iena ..? I have the old model mm the straps are so annoying but i lovvvvve the function of the bag and put up with the strap so maybe this might be worth checking out soon! I had the old model totally in mono but sold it because the straps would just constantly fall off my shoulder ughh just a girl trying to find the perfect little tote if it exists .... lol

Hi Jennifer! Great video. I'll really have to think about getting either the Iena or Neverfull. Question, it looks like the canvas on the Iena is a different colour than the Neverfull, is it age that does it? Or is it just a trick of the light while you were filming?
cloverdalerabens... it's age. they start to turn dark with use and time

May I ask why u decided to get this bag in the Damier Ebene Esther instead of the Monogram? I recently bought the monogram & LOVE it! I want it in the Damier Ebene too..
I originally bought it in the monogram but ended up returning it because I have a silly issue with the tabs at each end of the zipper curling up on vachetta leather and worried that would happen to the Iena in mono. I have recently seen a mono one out and about and the tabs are curled. This does not bother some people (I wish it didn't bother me...!) but I knew it would drive me bananas. So I got it in the ebene and don't have to worry about the tabs because they don't curl with the treated leather on the ebene bags. :)
What a fabulous fabulous video! You never disappoint dear! You are so thorough with your reviews, and so fun to watch! I had bought my victorine wallet only because you suggested it and I absolutely love it to this day. So yeah I know what you mean by "Sarah waller is almost empty". I too don't know what to stuff into my full size wallets now. Anyways this bag seems like the answer to my prayers for a care free travel bag with a zip closure.
BTW, I have 3 questions -
1) does this bag have a d ring on the inside somewhere? just so I can clip my mini pochette which carries my make up and essentials and I don't have to rummage through that black hole.
2) does the outside compartment fit an iPhone 6 along with the victorine and a passport?
3) does this bag fit a pochette metis? Weird I know. I usually carry my chanel woc inside my metis inside my Neverfull when I travel. So I have a travel bag, a sight seeing bag and a date night bag. It fits fine in the Neverfull along with my scarf and a sweater and other smaller stuff like a mini pochette and what not. Just wanting to know if the Iena can fit it and zip up? If it did it'd be the PERFECT travel bag for me!

Hello! Thank you :) I am so glad you are loving your Victorine wallet! Here are the answers to your questions:
1) Yes it has a D ring!
2) Yes, the outside pocket fits those items and zips!
3) Yes, the pochette metis fits in the bag (and zips)! There is not a great deal of room remaining, but enough for a few SLGs and a scarf...etc. (I also do the "bag in a bag in a bag" thing when I travel !!)
I hope this helps you decide if this is the perfect travel bag for you. It sure sounds like it just might be!!

I actually love the shape and features of the new one better than the. Neverful I think, but couldn't justify both. If you had to chose...which one!!!?!! 😏😏
+JMC71 I haven't had the Iena very long, but I truly think I would choose it over the Neverfull. I just feel that is does everything the Neverfull does plus a few more things (zip top, front zip, comfy handles...). I hope that helps 😊
I bought this bag in the PM size and agree that the straps feel a bit rubbery, but find them quite comfortable. I'm using a speedy 25 samorga organizer in it and it fits well and is great to find everything when I unzip the bag. I'm loving it!

Cyndee Are you loving the pm size,Its a toss between a Neverfull pm and this in the pm. Hard to see model shots of this size and don't have a store near me. Wonder if the strap drop on the pm and mm the same? Thanks

I have found the straps to be very comfortable! They will never be as soft as well worn vachetta straps, but they are supple and don't "cut" into the shoulder at all. :)

I know this video is 4 years old but now that you’ve had both do you ever carry the neverful? If so under what circumstances… also I saw you got a leather mm neverful recently… gm for travel… that’s a lot of bags that are similar… how in the world do you choose? Also the speedy situation how do you choose between them? I’m liking so many bags but trying to pin point about 12 that will do the trick snd get rid of the rest. Thanks!!

Just Jennifer Glad your bag is still in perfect condition. But no the SA I sent pics to said they would be replace the tabs at $180 each!!! Crazy because three of them are separated. She said she would send the photos to see if they can reglaze them but at $180 each, that's a NO for me! :) Unfortunately, I saw it two weeks after its 1 year anniversary so I missed the free repair date. It's sad. Thanks for responding!

+TheBabyJ's My SA says the official release date is April 28. Neither of us is sure how I was able to get it so early...🤔!! My only suggestion to you be would to ask an SA at LV if they can order one for you, since you know it's being released very soon. Then maybe they will be able to get it to you a bit early once they receive it... 😘

Hi Jennifer, I purchased this bag when it first came out as you did. I never even used it. It is in the dust bag in my closet. What I wasn't crazy about was how it protruded out from my body. I called several stores to see if it would soften and mold to my body. Some said yes and some said it has a structured base and it wouldn't. I should sell it I didn't think about mailing it back. Duh, I'm used to carrying a cross body bag. I did purchase a Pochette Metis and love it. So what do you think? Love your videos.
In my opinion, it hangs on the body very similarly to the Neverfull MM. It's kind of smooshy, but keeps it's shape, for the most part. I find it to be comfortable to wear. If you are used to cross body bags, I can see where this bag would take some getting used to. Thanks!! :)

Hi! I have seen a picture someone took of the Iéna MM in damier azur . It was posted on the Purse Forum. It looked like a photo of a page in the LV "look book" of upcoming items...so I believe it is!!! :)

Hey, Jennifer! Do you consider that owning both a Neverfull MM in DE and the Iena MM in DE is overkill? I bought a Neverfull less than a month ago and haven't used it yet, but I've been obsessed about the Iena. However, I love the look of the Neverfull too. I don't know if I should exchange the NF for the Iena or purchase the Iena and keep both. I know you have both bags, do you plan to keep the NF?

Hi! At this point, I am still planning to keep my Neverfull MM. I do feel there is a use for both bags. Not saying it's "necessary", just that they each have their good points and reasons to grab one over the other at different times. I see myself using the Iena when I want a "carry lots of stuff" HANDBAG, and the Neverfull when I want a "throw everything in there and pile it up" TOTE. Does that make sense? :)
It does make sense :) In fact, yesterday I was carrying my mono NF and I had to carry tons of stuff, so I looked at it and thought it was great that it was an open tote and that I could use it for that purpose.

If you were choosing between the Iena and a Speedy 30 B which would you go for? Both in Damier Ebene...to clarify...
Wow!! That is a tough one!! Do you already have a Speedy? If not, go with the Speedy. (Because it is a classic and an amazing, versatile bag) If so, then that opens some doors.... Do you already have Neverfull MM? If not, then the Iéna. If you want to have different carrying options, Speedy! If you are only a shoulder bag gal, then Iéna. Imagine yourself carrying it. (one at a time...) Which one do you feel more excited about? Go with that one!! :) Good luck and let me know what you decide, please!

Your videos are so helpful. I would love some advice on my next purchase. If you were going to invest in one everyday bag, would it be the Speedy Bandouliere, Iena MM, or Duomo Hobo? I have a Gucci leather hobo now that holds everything but I need to get something different.
Well, that is a tough one!! I do not have the Duomo hobo...but would rule that one out since you have a Gucci hobo. SO that leaves the Speedy B or the Iéna MM. Wow!! I think you need to decide if you want different carrying capabilities, or not. If you are the type of person who only likes shoulder carry bags, then go with the Iéna. It's amazing!! If you think you are the type of person who likes to switch things up... carry it handheld to dinner out, cross body at the mall, and shoulder to work..., then go with the Speedy B!! You can not go wrong with either one. But be honest with yourself on what you will actually do with it! :) I hope that helped, and please let me know what you end up deciding! :)
Thanks for getting back with me Jennifer! Our Louis Vuitton store had received 3 of the Iena MMs. They let me see how my items would fit in the bag. I fell in love with all the room. It feels great carrying everything without being too heavy. I am using it today and it is wonderful! I am so glad that I saw your videos. They are so helpful!

+Pinkie Cribb I saw a picture of it in azur in the LV Look Book (someone took a picture of the page and posted it online)...so if that is legit, then yes it will be in Azur! No clue when...maybe it will be released the same day as the ebene (April 28)
I recently sold my DE Neverfull MM because I wasn't using it with the open top. The I'ena seems like a perfect substitute! Is the bottom reinforced?
+CapeCodBelle The bottom does not seem to be reinforced or thicker in any way...very much like the Neverfull. I have it filled up right now, on a trip to my parents, and it is not buckling down on the bottom. It hangs pretty straight across.

The only con of the Iena is when you put things in the inside pockets the bag smushes or collapses down on itself. Did you notice that? I ended up getting the DE after I got the Azur because I really love the bag with it's functionality and wanted to use it and not have to change out do to rain etc. I wish it had a little more support other than that it's fantastic! As always you do great reviews!
Yes, the bag is smooshier than other tote style bags, but I haven't found it to be a problem, personally. I tend to put my phone in the outside zip pocket and light things ( lip gloss, powder compact...) in the interior pockets, so maybe that's why it hasn't been too noticeable? I want to get the Iena in the Azur but wish it didn't have the pink interior color. I would much prefer the beige interior. :)

Very very nice Jennifer! Lovely bags! Recently got into the Michael Kors bags and wallets, and loving them!! Got some Michael Kors protector spray for them. So trading off between my Vera bags or Michael Kors bags.....and pleased...I like my Vera bags for cold water gentle washing , hang dry only, never dryer or they'd shrink.....but sometimes you just need the brown leather bags or totes of MK or like you have the LV....Fun! Uh, maybe MKors bags aren't treated leather then, interesting , I guess Jennifer there is nothing better than the LV bags......enjoy to the fullest!! Yes, cold water, gentle/delicate cycle, I use the double rinse too on the machine, and only do one bag at a time, so no colors would ever run together you know. And also if there is any cardboard or plastic lining in the bottom of the bags remove them before washing, once dry they will go back in.....I forgot and washed one once with card board lining and that ruined the card board of course, so just left that out and didn't worry, now I buy any of my Vera bags WITHOUT any hard linings. And yes, never ever put them in the dryer ever, not even on the lowest setting, they will shrink badly, ruined one that way once too, just hang dry.........I've got the Vera bags down to a Science , lol. I'm debating on the speedy or the Iena in damier ebene. Do you think the smaller Iena pm would fit the MacBook Air? Because I hadn't considered I can bring my MacBook with me with the Iena until I saw this video. :) So it does help but then I'm also considering between the mm and the pm.
Is your MacBook Air an 11" or 13"? The dimensions on the Iena PM are 14.2", so it seems like either would fit, however the 13" one would be tight... It would fit perfectly in the Iena MM for sure. I guess it depends on how much other stuff you'd like to carry with you in the Iena along with the MacBook Air. Good luck!
Loved your video. I am trying to decide between this one and the All In bag. I have the 15" Mac Book Pro as well. I know you showed it fit in the bag but can you put all the other stuff in there as well. That's going to be my deciding factor unless I have to buy a separate bag just for my computer. Hi! The 15" MacBook Pro fits, but it does not leave much room for anything else. If you are definitely wanting it to fit the laptop and a few other items comfortably, you might want to consider the All In. I hope that helps!! Thanks :) xx

Yes, I am still very pleased with my Iena MM. I have heard that some people are experiencing corner wear, but I have no trouble with mine at all. It is a fabulous every day bag, and travel tote. Enjoy.

Do you worry about color transfer on your DA eyeglass case in any of the three bags dark interior that you showed in this video?
Hi Melanie! I really had not even thought about color transfer (strangely enough!!) I know I would worry about it if it was a bag, but I did not think of it being a problem with something I carry in my bag...I guess I should have thought of that! However, I have not had any color transfer at all on it and it has been in many of my bags with dark interiors. :)
Great comparison Jennifer! I have the same large wallet......bought it at least 25 years ago. Mine came with a checkbook cover which slipped in .............who carries a checkbook these days?????????? maybe why that's why it seems so big!!!

How has the wear and tear been? I am especially worried about the corners...As they're folded rather than stitched like the Totally, has it shown rubbing or anything like that?
So far, I have not seen any wear on the corners. I have not noticed any problems with the wear and tear in general on this bag! :)

+12 Pretty Things Thank you! It is supposed to be released April 28. My SA and I are both not sure how I got it so early... (😋) When you talk to your SA, ask him/her to order it for you. That way you will get it as soon as possible. Not sure if I'll sell my Neverfull MM. I guess I'll wait a bit to see if I reach for it now that I have the Iena.

Hi Jennifer, just watched this video today while searching for info about the Iena. When this bag is just sitting with normal everyday items does the top sorta fall over or does it stay upright? Make sense? Wondering if it slouches too much for what I want. Thanks for sharing!
The top stays upright completely when it is sitting with everyday items in it. The only slouchy part would be the bottom 2-3 inches that "puddle" a bit, if you know what I mean. I hope that helps. For the record...I LOVE this bag!!!
