Have you heard any of these things before? ❤
I've known transgender women say they hate the same questions. I'm a guy who loves trans women.
My bf does too
Sometimes Mathilda Guys sometimes put their foot in their mouth when they are talking to a pretty women.
As a trans girl, I hate when people call me by my "dead" name. The only one I allow to do it is my mom, and that's only because she is my mom. No one else gets that right, not even my brother or sister. I am now Holly and I think calling me by my "dead" name is like calling other people by someone else's name. Give me the respect to call me by my name.
Can I ask you personal question Maltida..how did your mummy and daddy felt when you said you was a girl but trapped in a male body and you wanted to be all female were they understandable or really shocked and didn't agree?
The part about "being attractive for a trans person" is similar to how I feel when people outside of my race say ... "You speak so well." Sorta implies that all African Americans sound the same.
Two weeks after I came out to my mom about me being transgender, she told me that she wished I would change my mind. I just told her being trans isn't something you can just choose to be, it's not like picking a pair of shoes to wear. It's something that you are or you aren't. There is no choice. She still wants me to go back to how I was last year. I don't want to go back to being miserable and depressed.
@OceanGirl207 That's my thought. I'm not stopping with this, just today I asked my doctor about how to stop permanently producing testosterone so I don't have to keep taking blockers and the estrogen I'm on can work better.
I'm sis gender and one thing that bugs the crap put of me is when people think that being trans or homosexual is a CHOICE! Who would ever want the hurt, pain and ridicule that goes along with it. I believe it is not a choice, its how God made you.
Sister gender
@OceanGirl207 i know...why would anyone. I don't understand how people can not believe that people can be born in the wrong body. I am sorry for any pain or trouble you have been through. I told my children and now my grandchildren that if they are gay, trans or whatever they are..I will still love them and be there for them. I hope your family feels the same, because they should...
It is great that you educate cis people. "cis-people", one expression out of my relatively new vocabulary. I am basically proud of my learning process. And Mathilda qualifies as one of my teachers. Like her and her channel.
Same here! I'm so glad I found her channel 💗
One thing that I dislike is when Cis women say something along the lines of "You should be happy you will nevet have a period". When I point out that mean they can carry a child they have to stop and think about it most of the time
Thank you for this video!!! I realized that when I was explaining to people what not to say to disabled ppl the only reason they’ve said these things is because they haven’t gotten proper education on it so im trying my best to be as educated as I can in topics so I don’t make people feel uncomfortable
One thing ive had people ask me is, "can we hear your real voice?", and im like, this is my ONLY voice.
I know several people who would definitely benefit from watching this video lmao but seriously, this is very useful to share with cis people!
Why can't people treat each others with respect and dignity? We are all humans that want to be loved and love. But often people just project their own self hatred or insecurities to others instead of self reflecting and find out what their real problems are and and try to fix them. Maybe on day Humanity will wakeup and see the true potential that we all have and finally evolve.
I've had it said to me that you used to boy. This really hurt me as it puts a target on me. I've also been asked repeatedly what my birth name was and people get offended, especially if they only know me since I started my transition. The question about the surgery really frustrates me as its private and they don't need to know
Great video. Even though I already knew most of these things it’s fine because I’m just here to support you. ❤️
I actually have the strong urge to hug you just now for being the strong girl you are now ❤️🤗
Well said! Thanks. I am a trans women and have been asked some of the questions..
I'm constantly impressed by your perfect mastery of the English language.
I've gotten some of those comments and if I I've ever had a coin for the comments I received I'd be a billionaire by now
Same, especially the surgery question or what was my dead name
I needed a hormone shot before I watched this , people are truly obsessed with us 🧡
There is really only one thing that I honest to God wish people would tell me is ok to ask a Trans Person and that is, "Can I get your phone number because I would really like to build a life with a woman and think you are amazing?" That is no joke. For some reason, my recent interest in wanting to give a transgender woman an honest opportunity for a committed relationship has backfired. I am finding the same exact mind games as CIS women.
Regarding not-asking about surgical status: if a person (A) with a genital preference were dating a transgender person (B), how would A respectfully inquire whether B is compatible in that regard or not?
This is very educational, thank you.
Or how about, Are you close with your family? Or say if your mentioning an argument you’ve had with someone, the other person will say, “Do you think it’s because your trans? I’ve gotten both questions, the first one more often then not
That part about friends and family not respecting new name and pronouns hit hard for me as that’s been one of the most difficult things I’ve been dealing with since coming out. They just don’t seem to understand how painful and uncomfortable it is for me to hear them call me the person I no longer associate myself as being who I am. I mean I’m still the same person in a way I’m just not presenting as male anymore and it’s so frustrating and depressing when they do it. My family is even worse though especially my twin sister and my dad. They both dead name and misgender me blatantly no matter how much I beg them to stop. I try to reason with them and educate them but they won’t listen. It’s not like I’m not trying hard enough to present as female or anything they just are being very rude and disrespectful of my transition. I mean I already deal with hating my outward appearance and every part of my body on the daily I definitely don’t need their crap added on to it.
Why can't you just treat a trans person, like a PERSON!! WHAT A NOVEL CONCEPT!!
why don't you treat a trans woman, like a woman!!
Why don't you treat a trans man, like you would never guess, like a man!!
It’s only a faint thought but the people who compliment you and say,“ You don’t look Transgender!“ might have the expectation that Trans-women present as masculine like cross dressers or drag queens. It’s not an excuse for the comment but just a thought.
As a 74-year-old cis guy I long for the day when medical science can offer you and others the ability to become pregnant and bare children. The you and your sisters can finally have the complete body you were meant to have. Someday.
I'm a 34-year-old trans woman and I find not getting preggers to be one of the best parts about being a trans woman. Just as well. I don't want any human kids. I already have a perma-child with feathers and a 70-year life expectancy.
Ummm trans women have COMPLETE bodies even without giving birth... having the inability to bare children doesn’t mean you’re not “complete” or a “full woman”🙄
@@foxyrocky7522 Let's not forget that infertile cis women exist. Are they not "complete" women? What about cis women who had to have their wombs/ovaries removed due to cancer? Are they incomplete? What about the mothers who foster or adopt?
@@DarDarBinks1986 why do you think I said having the inability to bare children, which means ALL WOMEN trans or cis/infertile women. Idk if you comment was agreeing or trying to correct me but I don’t need correcting. You should be telling him this. We’re ALL complete❤️
@@foxyrocky7522 I was agreeing with your comment.
Hey guuuurl 👋 I've actually said that before myself about "I would've never guessed you are trans and you are so beautiful." To me, I meant because you look true to the gender you identify as and you are a beautiful woman, had nothing to deal with what I expect trans ppl to look like or anything like that. More that you look how you identify, a beautiful women. But now I understand that can be taken that way and won't say it again. Just thought I'd share what I meant by that as I definitely did not mean "most cis or trans look a specific way." Hopefully I don't get hate for this comment. I am glad you educate ppl even though that's not your responsibility, I think it is great we can have open discussions no matter who we are since we all have different experiences and identify differently 😁
I understand and it’s totally okay. Love you, girl ❤️
@ love ya too girl 🥰💖
Yeah, I get we don't look the same. Cause some guys tell me like, "you're not a girl!" and other guys tell me to stop pretending to be a guy. I'm a m-f woman.
Happy internacional woman's day to all my queens 🤗❤
Same to you girl
@@themikaylashow1987 🥰❤
I learned to avoid ignorant people. I am happy with just few friends , and we have mutual respect. Boyfriends sometimes worry about how their parents think and get scared of a relationship. kisses from Canada.
When someone says the second one, I respond by staring blankly, and let themselves dig a bigger hole for themselves
You are a beautiful Soul~
Whatever someone says to you just take it for what it is worth. Other wise just accept the best part of it and go from there.
well, you can't always just "take it for what it is worth" because there is a lot of things they could say that need correcting.
I’m new to your channel:). You do your makeup so well xx .
I personally have never asked for someone's dead name. I don't understand why anyone would. That's rude. However a few trans people have told me their dead name. I don't know why because I would never call them that
I can say whatever I want. Its nobodies responsibility to confirm other peoples self image. See yourself as whatever you want, but dont ask other people to play along to an obvious lie if they dont want to. Objective reality isnt lost on everyone.
First! And happy Women's Day! ❤
Happy Women's day ❤
you got a lot of sound errors in your video. Kinda like every time you say something like "sex", "vagina" or "penis". Why is that? Is youtube bugged?
Could you do a video of voice training or tips?
My gf is trans!
As a transgender woman I get that a lot my pronouns are she/her thank you for making❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
oh my goodness... I love that sweater!
I've heard... actually most of these things.
Have to say I have learned alot, thank you 💕
I love this channel
me too i love mathilda
Well said!
bonjour mathilda,il est vrai que certaines personnes peuvent s'enerver, mais dans l'ensemble ceux à qui ça intérresse est au courant d'un minimum sur les transgenres avec internet...j'aime vos vidéos c'est sympa
Mathilda, Your perspective is not universal. That's too personal and I am not comfortable answering, might be a better response. You just may share the same inability to grasp the same concept.
How bad is "Do you pee standing or sitting"?
To be honest, I found this one funny rather than offensive. But that's just me
well i mean you shouldn't really ask anyone how they use the restroom
Well I think your beautiful person not as before or now your a beautiful person throughout you look just awesome x
happy women's day wishes for you 🌹🌹🌹mathilda🌹🌹🌹
I love you so much Mathilda!!!!!! 😍
❤️❤️❤️
You say the world doesn't revolve around other people and then proceed to finish your -"What you can and can't say to me video".
Ahhhh the sweet irony. Obviously so lost on you in that moment. 😉 The world doesn't revolve around any of us. Including you!
lol ur dumb it to trans people not her alone
@@yummygummy3416 You lost me at -"ur dumb"
And rewatch the vid cause transpeople wasn't who was being referred to when the "world doesn't revolve around you" comment was made.
Is interesting on the new video for the explain thing not to say the transgender is excellent video💜💖👏🏻✨
All exactly right.I have a new answerer for what is my pronouns.Because if somebody asks that they are not doing well anyway. It is F and U.
I mean if they're asking that question they're trying to be respectful, I don't see why you would need to go all hostile
Those earrings look like US dimes.
Tbh you can often absolutely tell that someone is trans by looking at them. You’re being delusional if you think otherwise.
Great video
You are so good looking ! Who cares if you were that !!!! You are a great Swede and I have a daughter in Stockholm !!
Hoping my polite comments to get deleted immediately jus cus they aren't exactly what UA-cam police wants to see.
Hello Mathilda.
If a person is triggered by someone asking about their former name then they really need to experience some real hardships in life
@Kali Evelynn you're twisting my words. This youth of today is so frigging sheltered its ridiculous. Once you've experienced some real shit you're not gonna be fazed by someone asking about your name
@Kali Evelynn ok, explain then
@@anniex1559 You are obviously oblivious to the fact there are senior citizen older Trans Women & Trans Men. One of whom has just read your comment.
@@daisyrose9968 do you get triggered by someone asking about your name?
plenty of them experience hardships on top of transphobia and dealing with so much on top of and even larger threat of being murder for no reason than other people and when someone is dead naked that is like saying “well ur stupid and should die and i refuse to accept u for who u are” u r cis and will have no idea what it’s like to have to deal with people constantly misgendering u on purpose to be harmful so much u don’t understand but pretend to lol
Sry I don’t wanna be mean but haven’t u already made one of these vids?
You’re not mean for pointing those things out. Yes, as I said a did a similar video like this a few months ago and also over a year ago. However I collected everything in this video to make it easier for everyone to find all of the information ❤️
@ oh that makes sense i guess thanks for the clarification!
I did , But there were some new ones too , u look cuute as always ! Love yah ! cya soon, hope u have a great day
Wishing you a great day as well ❤️
You are beautiful and a beautiful person you are an awesome intelligent woman I would love to meet you one day love you Matilda you are beautiful and unique the way you are
Things not to say to a Christian
Hello mahtilda hope your well dear
Glad internationella kvinnodagen!!
"You are too attractive to be a transgender person" - That's like saying, "You are too hot to be a lesbian" - F*** OFF!!!!
Spill the T, cis!
are you going to get drafted to the army when russia invades your country? what's the legal status of your id for this matter ?
My legal id is woman and has been for the last 10 years.
Can I ask you personal question Maltida..how did your mummy and daddy felt when you said you was a girl but trapped in a male body and you wanted to be all female were they understandable or really shocked and didn't agree?
It’s weird because i’m not offended at all of all kind of question about that, I’m answering everybody with pleasure! ☺️
Fun time
Good info, but i think that there are many transgender people are very recognizable. I think that people are trying to give you a compliment. Im sorry its offensive to you...
well, it's kind of rude to point out that some of us trans women are "very recognizable" you should just move along and not point any of that out because if I saw someone and they said "you are very recognizably transgender" I would deck them in the throat.
@@quinnreilly-allan6499 im sorry to offend. It was not my intention. I'm learning as I go. Im sis gender, in my 60's want to understand, and not offend. Its not fair that people can be so ridiculed for being homosexual or transgender. I have a relative that is young Mtf. I would like it to be as easy for her as possible.
@@quinnreilly-allan6499 oh. And I would never mention ot to them! Give me a break...im trying here to be supportive. There is a learning curve..😊
Male and Female is the only sexual orientation
I hope that was a joke xd
@@sirihpz2487 nope only male and female exist
@@StockTurboN20 Ok, but is male and female a sexual orientation?
Well...you keep referring to transgers as "THEM" and so maybe you should take your own advice...
@carp well you aren't validating their feminity by saying them, it's her, it's she, it's female so therefore use female pronouns
@@xPaLmaaHx group of people not one singular person if it was one person like in a previous video then she would use the proper pronouns and also trans people are not only women there are trans men too
That's why to use "them", there isn't just trans girls outside. Am I right, or do you refer to your parents as "fathers" or "mothers"? .-. it is as simple as it is .-.
@@xPaLmaaHx Hunny you can refer to both men and women like them, in the case that you don't know their gender, plus they and they are for both SINGULAR and PLURAL usage, as a trans woman it's not invalidating gender identity, it's only invalidating if you refer to them as a pronoun that their not comfortable with, or if you only call them by their no-no pronouns
