Hey! SO I WENT PLATINUM BLONDE! Here is everything I wish I knew about going platinum blonde, to the steps, to the products I use! The ends of my hair look kind of dark due to lighting. Like I said, I was going from light blonde to platinum blonde. Going platinum blonde was a long process but I love how it looks! Make sure to let me know what color you want to dye your hair!

Love how it looks girl! I went light blonde last winter for the first time, and I have like ~bronde~ hair so it look forever to get it blonde! And let me tell you like it hurt. My scalp was like scabbed and stuff, because the bleach burnt it so bad. My hair was so dry and brittle, and even now the ends of my hair are still like that. So as much as it was fun to be blonde for a while, I doubt I'll ever do it again because it ruined my hair so much!

My hair is really platinum because I had previously died it red and then I needed to get rid of the red so I had it dyed back to my natural dark blonde color with a golden blonde root melt. Then when it was time to go back to the salon I decided I wanted to be a cool blonde so I got partial platinum highlights. I’m very platinum now because I still have a lot of previously dyed blonde hair. Going forward as my hair grows out I am going to stick with partial platinum highlights and leave the rest my hair dark blonde. I like the contrast.

Only thing I do warn people is to NOT do it yourself!! Go get a professional at a salon/ask them to come to you! Can't count how many horror stories I've witnessed/read of people bleaching their own hair😩
