Good question. No one really knows. The common sense approach is say after 3-6 months talk to your responsible doctor about whether you could start reducing the dosing of one of the medication. If your pain stays away as the dose is reduced, you just keep cautiously weaning. If your pain returns, then you may need the medication for longer, similar to the way a blood pressure medication can keep blood pressure controlled for prolonged times. Best is check with your doctor.

A pleasure. Let us know what pain topics you’d like to learn more about.
For how long has the medication (pregabalin + dullxetine) to be taken ? Years ? Whole life ? Six months after being pain-free ?
Good question.
