My wife and I just took our 2024 Accord Touring Hybrid on a 30-day, 12,000 mile trip around North America. We drove from Seattle, Washington to Vancouver, British Columbia across Canada to St John's, Newfoundland (Stopped there for an oil change) to Bar Harbor, Maine to Syracuse, New York to Dayton, Ohio to Wichita, Kansas to Denver, Colorado, to Ventura, California and then back home to the Seattle area. Of course, there were many, many other stops along the way. The car ran flawlessly the whole time. Although we tried to keep our daily distance travelled to 500 miles per day or less, it was always an absolute pleasure to drive! In the 55 years that I've been driving, I can say without reservation, it's the best, most comfortable car I've ever owned! And I've owned a lot of cars. Aside from the sheer driving pleasure, over the entire 12,000 miles, we averaged 49.9 MPG. For a car this size, it has amazing fuel economy!
I bought the Accord and am very happy with it. Only negatives: no garage opener in the mirror, no Sirius, no overhead 360 degree camera. Superb gas mileage (better than posted), lots of power and a joy to drive.
I bought a 2024 Accord Hybrid Touring. I use the Sirius XM app on my phone through Apple car play. About 8$ a month. Runs off cell towers rather than satellite. Works fine.
@@Jazz16-we1qc I kinda wish I had gotten the manual but I got an incredible deal on the 2014, I also do a LOT of city / suburb traffic driving so I probably would have regretted all the shifting. Just picked mine up today in canyon river blue. Honda really hit a home run with this car. For the price, it’s packed with features, has a great power train and handles and rides like a much more expensive car. I’ve no doubt it’ll serve me well for many, many years. (It’s going to save me a ton of money on gas as well!)
Hey Paul, excellent review. I have the exact same car but in graphite. I love the car, best purchase I've made so far. Bought mines this past October. Everything you say about the car is exact, the only thing is the ventilated seats are kind of okay, you can barely feel it at max but that is insignificant because the car excels in every category. I'm getting 52.5 MPG by the way but I drive in eco mode while utilizing the paddle shifters frequently.
As the current owner of a 10th gen Accord 2.0T Sport, I am still on the fence with the 11th gen. The interior looks awesome compared to the 10th, but that exterior design... I still can't get over how generic it looks. Great video. Thanks.
@@jahjah2192 lol When I look at them online they look ok. Then I’ll randomly see one in person and start reconsidering it. 😂 I love that off grey color that almost looks a bit blue.

2022 Honda Accord 2.0T will be my last Accord. Next and last Honda will be a CTR probably. My taste of cars is simply just more fun, not less, and removing the 2.0T and manual made the Accord go from sports sedan to boring commuter. Has good features the previous gen doesn't, but can also get those in other cars I'm looking to get like a BMW or whatnot. Really sad about that too because I probably would have kept going Accord until I got an M5 or RS7
I have a 23 Accord EX-L in Urban Gray. I really love the EX-L as it provides the best mileage and feature set for the value. The Touring seems overpriced. I just couldn't swallow a $40,000 price tag for the Touring. Loving the 50 mpg in the EX-L during the summer months. Drives great after 18 months of ownership. Very solid build quality considering it was made in the first month of mass production of this generation Accord.
I was considering the 2025 civic touring but I test drove the 2025 accord touring too and.. it's WAY comfortable! 2024 probably isn't different at all, could get some nice savings hehe
First time seeing your reviews and I thought you did a great job so I subscribed. This is a beautiful car but I’m waiting to see what the new Civic Hybrid brings to the table. Hope you can review that one also!
That's weird. Every other reviewer and lots of folks on the forums say the ventilated seats do next to nothing. Maybe you got some that work? Nice review, thanks for sharing.
I loved my 2022 sport touring. Absolutely the best compact I ever owned. Unfortunately it was a little too small for me and the seats uncomfortable on longer drives. I traded for a new hybrid. but not the Accord too expensive.
Hi Paul. Thanks for the great review. Been car shopping for a few months now and it's really between this and the Civic Touring (which is now coming in hybrid as you noted). I like the looks of the Civic more but like how the Accord is a bit more refined naturally as it's a step up. I'm trying to wait for the Civic hybrid to hit dealerships to make my decision but I may just jump to the Accord as my current car is on its last legs and am afraid dealerships will play the markup game again since it will be new and finding Civic Touring/Sport Tourings was already difficult. I'm a bit stuck on what to do. As a Civic Touring owner yourself and with the hybrid coming what would you do? Again thanks for the review!
Hi Brent! Thanks for watching. I actually just finished my owner review on my 2024 Civic Touring, it should be uploaded and released tonight! I answer that question in the video, but personally; I’d wait and see!
Hey Paul, two questions: doesn't the trunk have room to put a spare if one wanted to purchase a kit, and how are the brakes ( spongy or disconnected like the new Camry).
I just got one and the suspension is pretty good. It’s not going to be super soft, but it splits the difference of sport handling but not being harsh either.
I agree front grill should be like the old generation, back is better, only the Honda badge should not be stupidly small. I think this why the sales are so down, plus they dropped the 2 Liter turbo. I hope Honda is listening.
Savagegeese recently did a comparison of the two, they said the Accord has a more refined and isolated driving experience, and they didn’t even have the Touring version of the Accord which is more isolated vs the other trims.
@@Fadic4yup Recently test drove both sport L and touring and the touring is so much quieter than the sport L. Def getting the touring. Which color do you think looks good on the touring?
@@sergioferrer4185I don't think that's the only thing, I do believe the touring has more sound deading material throughout . I think the Turing has a sound deadening windshield also. And it's a shame, because the screen upgrade is nice, but most of the rest of it is worse, AND for more money.

Honda can bring back the 2.0 turbo manual or 10 Speed back with the 14 ich Infotainment touch screen.

No markups? What's that extra sticker on the window?
For the splash guards they install on every vehicle. They can be removed upon request. I kept mine on because the splash guards actually work.
