Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were granted early access to the game on November 15, 2018, and Origin Access Premium subscribers on PC received access to the game on November 9, 2018. The game is based on World War II and is a thematic continuation of its World War I based precursor Battlefield 1.
Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options. Cosmetic items, and currency used to purchase others, will be earned by completing in-game objectives.
The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Tides of War", "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will culminate with a "Final Stand", with players using only a primary weapon with limited ammo, and no respawns. Similarly to Battlefield 1, the game will feature a collection of single-player "war stories" based on aspects of World War II. The game also features a cooperative mode not seen since Battlefield 3 called "Combined Arms", where four players can undertake missions together and features dynamic missions and objectives so missions cannot be played the same way each time. Combined Arms is scheduled to be released after launch. The Battle Royale mode will be built around the franchise's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles". The name "Firestorm" is derived from a literal storm of fire that engulfs players similar to the popular Battle Royale game mechanic of restricting the play area. Furthermore, this particular game mode is not being developed by EA DICE themselves, but has been outsourced to Criterion Games and features the biggest map created by the franchise to date. As a few people here have pointed out (also confirmed by DICE dev), another way to quickly aim for a tank under 150m would be to line up the "box" on the tank sight to the enemy tank. It is calibrated to fit the side or length of a medium tank (e.g. Valentine). If the tank fit inside the box perfectly, then that rocket should hit.
Pros:
1. Quick target acquisition
2. Eliminate the need to find distance
Cons:
1. Calibrated for medium tank side, must adjust if it is a different tank or in another orientation
2. Does not support past 150m
3. Does not work on infantry/objectives
Hey man, heave you tried using the aiming reticules which sort of signify a tank body with a turret on top? So if you align the outline of it with your target, you're good to shoot?
Yep, if it fits the side profile of a medium tank, you are good to shoot, works under 150m.

Azura Productions aren’t the numbers showing the distance in feet (which practically matches the distances you showed in meters)? Very useful tutorial btw thanks, I have practically never used this tank, and I gave it a try and it was deadly on aerodrome!
@@gabsxo5714 Not sure! Someone said it could be in Fuß which is like 11.8 inches. I am no historian but I am pretty sure Germany adapted the metric system in the 1800s.

I used the reticules to match the size of the enemy tanks. This has always worked for me 🤔
This is also how these sights were intended irl, except it was more to be used on structures

Exactly how I've always used it, without a doubt the easiest sight to use in the game.
yep, that's how the sights are supposed to work. But they don't exactly line up every time. Different tanks also have different sizes. If you use it enough, you will probably get it but probably not for everyone else. Another issue is beyond the 150m mark. You can't rely on the size anymore there.

Everytime i use that thing its mayhem on the enemy or i get killed by a shitty enemy player next to me. (I know i can get in topgunner to kill him but sometimes i am too late)

Like MR.camper I have been shooting down enemie planes single handedly for 20 munites you got 30000 points becouse of me so call in a sturmtiger so I can relationship I don’t want to open my mic to tell you that sniping in the back and not playing to the objective is useless and rocet is only usefull in maps where you can’t use vehicles so now get me a sturmtlger and get on the granadeluncher now or I’ll block your scope for the next 3 rounds
The v1 rocket isn’t overrated, it kills so many people, in every video you see 10 kills or more or a little less,

A tank is only as strong as the infantry supporting it, and it's even more evident on the sturmtiger. If you get a guy that can use it and a couple of players to keep it safe from close range assault players that Sturmtiger is unstoppable.
Jorge Corea, that is exactly what drives me crazy. I try to stay with infantry support, except the infantry believe they lead and tank follows, but it’s the other way around. Or even a friendly supporting tank. For example, what lots of people believe is that when the German army rolled through France in 1940, the main tanks had cannons that blasted the French tanks. That is completely wrong, as like here without faster, lighter tanks the bigger tanks can be assaulted by infantry, and in the case of the German strategy the lighter tanks PzKpfw 1’s and 2’s led the charge, armed with machine guns and auto cannons, which couldn’t do anything to the French tanks. When the French tanks attacked the lighter vehicles broke off to defend the heavier tanks which would be brought up to engage the French tanks in a cannon to cannon fight. Therefore, the lighter vehicles defending against infantry trying to take out the heavier, arguably more dangerous vehicles, the heavier vehicles defending the lighter vehicles by taking out the enemy tanks, and usually all this was supplemented by halftracks with infantry. The added air superiority and close air support made this all easier, which is why the German army seemed unstoppable.
I got a 45 some kill streak with this thing in a span of 4 minutes on the last sector of Arras on breakthrough.
I think the issue players have with the Sturmtiger is they try to use it like a normal tank when it’s supposed to be used like artillery.
Yeah, never push an objective with this tank unless there are tons of friendlies also pushing and inside the objective . Sturmtiger is really vulnerable to infantry.
I got my squad to highest score by using this, and I would have gotten higher but people refused to get in the tank. I found myself just taking out tanks and running over infantry, it's very fun

My absolute favorite tank i like everything in it the amount of damage the shape except its speed but sometimes a malicious 4000 lb bomb (Idk the name of that plane) with one strike destroys my tank

So happy to see you've come around on this vehicle. I thought I was the only person who loved using it. The shots are just so satisfying. Breakthrough on Rotterdam is horrifying when you just fire the rockets into buildings and wait for the multikills.
The additional Grenade launcher, double flares and 2 MGs make it excellent for teamplay. Plus it's one of the few vehicles where a repairman can hop in from behind the vehicle in total safety. Sadly you can't choose to exit the vehicle that way.

So many people sleep on this beast, I've been decimating contested flags in breakthrough/rush since launch. BUT! you will need support because you don't have an MG to counter bazookas if they get close, and you will need someone to repair because taking that slow beast back to resupply is long af.

This is a Reinforcement tank and it doesn’t come with any levels to bring it up to but it’s a hella of a tank tho it’s good
if this an excuse to call the tank and not the rocket than don’t worry rocket is useless anyway

ive seen this tank in games and been killed by it many times, finally today i found it while waiting for a tank to respawn. this is chaos lol the rounds are massive and kill anything in the area lol
I just finished a Outpost match on Aerodrome. Previously to this match I watched this video. I called in a Sturmtiger and I was doing very well to a point my squadmates started to help me a lot by pinging enemies and repairing my tank. This guide works super fine!!! I approve it as the vehicle player I'am. Next thing DICE needs to do is an option to kick people who are in inside your tank if you are the owner, this costed me my Sturmtiger. With no one building the resuply station and my squadmates just staying inside of the tank I decided to pop a smoke screen and get out. Unfortunately on the 5 or so seconds to build the resuply station, a level 16 player got in the driver seat. He started to drive forwards past B point, straight into the A point controlled by British forces. All I could do was spam the MG fire to take down the hordes of assault players who wanted me dead, while spamming the GET OUT! on the rose thing. He faces a Churchill crocodille and missed 2 shots. But we all got overwhelmed by infantry and my Sturmtiger blew up. Going back to the guide. It helped out a lot keeping the enemy at bay. Sniped 2 T48 at around 250m away and a crocodile. (sorry for long comment :] )

I remember getting a cross map kill in the stermtiger, killed 4 guys from like 700m away, had to lift myself onto a rock to get the angle to hit that far lol

Just wanted to say this: Tanks are still very OP. In almost every round I play, there's at least one tanker with a 30 kill ratio or something like that. In real life, that rocket launcher was so scary it's hard to even imagine. Good content Azura.
Sane it’s only op if you sit at the back with them, which is annoying because sometimes you just need to get in there even with the 50 assaults and supports AND snipers with at guns who will all just murder you.
It's really the size of the tank. Most were similar in size. It's a brilliant method.

It is balance to be a squad effort power house. Alone is only good in certain situations and maps. Breakthrough in particular. But regardless is the most satisfying thing ever in this game

The strurmtiger is very underrated I once destroyed 3 staghounds in a row on panzerstorm with it
A much easier way i figured out is that the sights are actually tank shaped and if you just match the tank to the sight that fits it you can hit crazy shots. If youre shooting at ppl just imagine a tank there. Its so freaking good on defense on al sudan, especially towards the end. Also on twisted steel.
This tank, along with the Churchill GC are the only tanks that should be proped up on hills

If I'm not the squad leader I usually try to get my squad leader to call in a tank, they're almost always more useful than the sector artillery, while only being about 3k points more

Except PanzerStorm being flat. In conquest its sweet to call in since your above E. I got 4 tanks with 5 shots one game. Could of been 5, but that Staghound was just moving to fast. He got away burning, but got taken out by another tank. As a squad leader I'll call it in no problem. Same with the Crocodile tank , I'll call it in also as squad leader.
Go to the practise range, select the sturmtiger, and .... oh wait

I remember first time I used this I got caught by a valentine and was one shot away from death and panicking like a mofo, and I ended up whiffing a shot in his general direction as a Hail Mary and hit him right in the face and one shot him and survived for the rest of the round :)

Shut in Rotterdam on breakthrough defense I used a valentine archer and on the back ally way destroyed both a sturmtiger that was facing me and a tiger I tank. While only getting hit once by the tiger. In allure strong but you got to play it smart.

I can't seem to ever use this dope tank, every time i call it in, its just gone by the time i redeploy. I shit you not i have called it in like 8-10 times and have not actually sat in it once. Idk how you are able to actually get gameplay with it, looks so sick.
You gotta redeploy pretty much right after you call it in
Churchil crocodile desperatly needs some buffs but seeing as the game will no longer recieve updates it seems like the Churchil crocodile is best left forgotten
In fact, it had been buffed roughly a year ago. It is actually a beast of a tank. Its regular HE shell can melt anything
the impact of sturmtiger is higher than a V1, and yet most people still save up the 37k for V1 despite losing the game, regardless. My average record with a sturmtiger is about 20 or more kills, the highest being 40 or so.

Anyone experienced a bug where you call in a support vehicle and it disappears once you click to spawn in it?
It's 2nd. I would've taken you out with the crocodile.....As a squad leader, when I call in , it's always one of the tanks.... The 2nd seat in that tank is the grenade launcher. You can spam it and when the driver is aggressive, you actually use it right. It even has spotting flares.
