Thank you so much, Ross, my dear Brother Songbird. Hope you are fully recovered from that UT infection and that you and Tricia are enjoying a new beginning this autumn. Things are fine with us, just waiting for the election to end.
      Peace and Blessings ~ Bruce

I have been away so sorry I am late dear Bruce!! Thank you so much for covering this very nostalgic song that I love!! You have captured the energy of the song in your vocal … not an easy one to sing as the notes jump about a bit … so impressed with your voice on those high notes!! As always your addition of the harp in the right spots adds that extra magic!!! So good to hear this one again!!!
    Warm wishes,
    Lorraine 👍😘🎶🎵💯

The Seeker was an Australian band, wasn't it, Bruce? This is a cool uke/harmonica cover. Well done!

    Hello Bruce!
    A nice song! Good job!
Isn't it crazy how times have changed...the average length of a popular song in the 60s wasn't necessarily (much) longer than the average length of a song in the modern charts, but the lyrics surely are different! Yes, the lyrics were so tame, women usually didn't wear seductive dresses, right?!
And many men usually wore fancier clothes! Change is inevitable, though!
    Have a nice day!

Well, the 60s gave us the Stones, the Beatles, Dylan. This little number came from a folk group but was really from the genre of Easy Listening or Adult Contemporary or some such. It was the theme song from a very popular movie, which today seems extremely silly but should probably be compared to today's Disney films. How are you coming on your Don Edwards cover?

I am going to do more Country Covers in the future...
The next Country cover is either going to be a song by Kris Kristofferson or a song by Townes van Zandt!
Regarding Don Edwards: I must listen to some of his songs first...most likely I'll find a song that suits me!

@@danielobenhaus8100 Congrats on the super Don Williams cover. KK or TVZ are excellent choices. I've been intending to get to Fort Worth Blues, Steve Earl's tribute song to Townes. They were close friends. Check that song out sometime too. It would sound great with the melodica....
