Isn't it crazy how times have changed...the average length of a popular song in the 60s wasn't necessarily (much) longer than the average length of a song in the modern charts, but the lyrics surely are different! Yes, the lyrics were so tame, women usually didn't wear seductive dresses, right?! And many men usually wore fancier clothes! Change is inevitable, though! Have a nice day!
Well, the 60s gave us the Stones, the Beatles, Dylan. This little number came from a folk group but was really from the genre of Easy Listening or Adult Contemporary or some such. It was the theme song from a very popular movie, which today seems extremely silly but should probably be compared to today's Disney films. How are you coming on your Don Edwards cover?
