Thanks, Ryza, for sharing your very interesting software engineering workday process. And, for commenting on the time constraints due to the workday that many people encounter when trying to make time to visit with friends.
Thanks, great video! Also you have a great view from your office 😍
It is very rare to find quality content like yours, I hope in a few years to be able to do a master's degree in Japan in computer science, Thank you very much for your content

Thank you very much for this type of videos! They're motivating me to study. Hope I'll visit Japan one day as a software engineer.
Also wanted to ask, what's the language of communication at your place of work? I heared that it's possible to find an IT job in Japan only with knowledge of english language. Is it true?
Hope to see more videos like this soon! :)
Thanks for watching! Yes, it’s definitely possible. I use English for my current job, also my previous internships were mostly done in English.
What about product manager or project manager role scope in japan ? Is it doing worth it ?
Do we need to have deep knowledge about how Ai or machine learning models works to be Ai product manager ?????
How difficult is it to get a master's degree at a university in Japan as a foreigner?, in my case from South America
It really depends on the university and the field, but these last couple of years, many universities in Japan have been opening degree programs for international students. These programs are usually taught in English and they have a separate quota for international students. In other words, it has been made easier for international students to study in Japan 🙂. As for nationalities, I don’t think it matters that much, except for some scholarships, where they are only aimed for certain nationalities (ex: some scholarships are only available for students from developing countries.)
what time do you start and finish work usually? Also do you do a lot of overtime?
I answered your question in my latest video
Hey, nice video. I am having some workshops over the summer with Japanese companies ( in Japan). I was wondering what should I do with the dresscode, any recommendations?
@@d-victoryous5638 it really depends on the company/event actually. But to be safe, I think business casual would be good.
this the life. software engineer in japan
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hey can i apply with western style resume or have to change the format according to Japan companies?
Is it possible for 短期大学学生 to get a good job in japan?
I am from myanmar and considering to study abroad and get a job in japan
Hey! Great video, how is the remote and overtime work culture there in tech companies?
It really depends on the company, I would say. As for remote work culture, many tech companies allow at least hybrid work style (WFH+Office). Also, after covid I know many people who can work from home 100% too.
Damnn, love your video man. Do you have any social media accounts??
Did you practice algorithm such as leetcode to get internship?
Yup I did. Only easy problems and some medium problems tho.
hey ryza just started my day with your video . iwas surprized when you said bioinformatics and datascience was your major actually i want to do that major in japan.
iam a biotech student . give me some tips on how to email the prof's and some tips on what to include in my resume.
1) Email your potential supervisor MONTHS before the application dates open. 2) highlight your research experience in your CV. You don’t have to be an expert in the field when applying, but you must tell them why you want to do research in that field (write this part in the email). 3) Before writing the email, read some papers that the lab has published. It will give you basic ideas about what kind of topics students in the lab have been exploring. From the publication list, you can sort of guess how active they are in the past years.
@@ryzary hi to add on this, what if you don't have research experience prior to emailing the supervisors? Will they still want to supervise you? e.g. my undergrad thesis only completes later on after time of application.
@qaimbaaden3013 @qaimbaaden3013 I guess you don’t need to finish your thesis before applying. Even so, you can still write about your ongoing research and your research interest.
what exact role do you do as software engineer
@@vaix815 I’m a Machine Learning Engineer, but I’m also doing some backend stuff
brother I
I want to talk you
you are a native Japanese?
Hey Ryza , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos which visually appeal to audience and would increase average view duration and will also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will overall help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?
