I have looked for some SWE jobs in Japan yesterday and on one of the job listings, I saw some information like "the owner highly respects the employee's work life balance", maybe they are waking up on the idea that if they don't fix their toxic "overwork the employees" culture, they will lose all their high-skilled engineers to countries that respect work life balance.

      Hi SP1:)
Yeah the work life balance issue has been surfaced on the media and now more and more companies try to wipe out the bad image for IT working environment, but I personally think it's still doubtful until you join the company or not.
better to check the company review on the internet:)

This idea of work/life balance for them would be just the normal for most countries, still ages behind of the actual modern ones in the Netherlands for example that have 3 day weekends etc

I’m a high school student who aspires to be a software engineer. I’m not sure of this career as my parents are forcing me me to take law And I’ve always admired Japan for its beauty and culture. So is it a good idea for me to opt for software engineer and go for a career in Japan? Will I get job offers easily? I’m from India by the way.

    HI KZY :D
I've been watching your videos and it really helped me to kickstart my journey to become a web developer.
Finally I'm able to get 2 offers from a company and I need some advice, first company is a small start up which seems to have good work life balance and friendly shacho but the the thing is they don't have that much benefits. The 2nd company is a big japanese company which has many jobs other than software development, it's like 総合人材派遣コンサルティング, they have lots of benefits but seems like I'm gonna be really busy and I'm afraid of not having a work life balance. My goal is to move to bigger companies like rakuten, have good work life balance, foreign enviroment not japanese. That's why I'm thinking of going with the 1st choice so that I'll have time to study and work my way up to achieve my current goal.
    Please help 😅

Bro if you can spend like 35lks. you can get a student visa for Japan but you must passed N5 test, after that you must study in a language school for 2 years, then you can attend to a Japan uni but this process is bit expensive bcz you must pay school fees and uni fees every year.
      2nd method is if you can graduate from Sri Lankan uni(pvt or gov) after graduation you can apply a working visa for japan. but
