Hi friends! I hope you enjoyed this video, we've finally bought our first home - a lovely old Victorian tenement on the outskirts of the city 😄I'd love to know which country you're watching from, let me know in the comments down below 👇
Hi Kat, congratulations to both of you on buying your first home. I prefer the old buildings they have so much more character. I love your library I always wanted one myself. Been following you for a long while from Hampshire, UK 😊
Thank you! I love them too, though they can often be a lot of work - thankfully ours isn't so big that it needs much doing to it. The library was Peter's idea, I completely adore it :)
Congratulations on the new flat😊 It is very cosy and the view from your office space is gorgeous 😉 I'm watching your videos from a town in the south of Russia and enjoying them immensely. Thank you ❤
Hi Kat, I've just discovered you and am delighted. I live in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada but my ancestral roots are predominantly Scottish. Thank you for your lovely videos. ❤🙏
So very excited for you two. It's such a blessing. Enjoy! I live in a 100 year old farm house and I'm wonderfully content. To some that can feel more like home than something just built. May the Lord bless your work.
Congratulations!! I am truly happy & excited for u & ur husband!! Ur home looks beautiful! I have to admit, of all the projects I've done throughout my life, painting has to be my least favorite!! I live in the country, just west of Morganton, NC (USA) w/ views of mountains. There are woods, a creek and a farm w/ cattle all w/in walking distance.
Thank you for your well wishes Johnny! I quite like painting...so long as I have an audiobook/podcast on the go! Your corner of the earth sounds idyllic, thank you for sharing :)
Beautiful! How exciting for you both. I love how you share your love for Jesus in videos. We need more of that! My Grandfather's name was Peter (saw your hubby had same name)...watching from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I'm late to this video but I love your charming new home. I live in a 4th-floor walkup (1940''s top floor "penthouse), quite grubby but with a large deck and river view in a city with ever tiny-er condos and apartments. (Vancouver, Canada.) We're renters but this is my favorite place I've ever lived after many moves also. xo karen
Hi Karen, sorry I missed this comment earlier, was just scrolling back and noticed I hadn't replied! Thank you so much, we're getting more settled with every month :) Your home in Canada sounds so lovely, especially the river view!
This was such a joy to watch, brilliant as always! I’m an American currently living in Japan, but hoping to move to Scotland in the future for grad school and possibly to live :) I studied abroad in Edinburgh, which I’d like to return to for my masters, after which I’m considering moving to the Highlands. I do worry about finding community there, as I’ve never really lived outside a big city before. But I’ve heard Scots are quite a friendly lot, so I’m hopeful :>
Thank you so much, I'm so happy you enjoyed it! That's so exciting that you're planning to move to Scotland :) Sometimes it can be easier to get to find community in smaller places, many Highland villages and towns have lots of social activities and clubs that you can get involved with. I'm sure you'll settle in nicely!
