It's absurd, it seems the game never wants to give me an epic or at least legendary artifact, they never come. I'm playing hard on purpose but it's frustrating. Gems give them, artifacts don't :(
A good amount of this information feels inaccurate. I do think relationships matter, in so far as, they do give you a lot of items, but most of it seems to be random, and mostly garbage. You'll get some good stuff now and then, but it's few and far between. I'm on my second play through. My first I played as Zhang Jiao during the Yellow Turban Rebellion. My sworn brothers were Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fe. They gave me about 3 or 4 horses in my 10 year run to conquer China. With Lu Bu, Cao Cao and others joining me eventually and giving me things as well.(Again, mostly junk). I did get a few Rare Artifacts though, so my weapon at least got up to "Rare" and I can equip 3 gems. My second play through, I learned I could get married. I played as Cao Cao during the Uprising of Dong Zhou. But the part about Titles being unlocked by beating enemies, is way, WAY off. Titles are unlocked by increasing your 'National' stats. Brave, Commanding, Ingenious, Eloquent, Benevolent and Evil. You can see which stats were used to unlock a title, when you check the title page and look in the top right corner of the page. It'll show a symbol and the level that was needed to achieve it. By increasing these stats, you unlock more titles. For example, If you manage to get Brave and Benevolent up to 10(max), you will unlock the 'Myriad Force' title, that any officer can use. There are 12 such titles, that any officer can quality for. But, keep in mind, there are 'unique' titles for each named character. I didn't unlock Zhang Jiao's unique title, but, I did unlock Cao Cao's unique title 'Hero of Chaos' by maxxing out 2 of the national stats(I don't recall which 2 specifically, sorry!) I'm currently sitting at 6 epic titles unlocked, and I have 5 of my 6 national stats at level 10. I'm working on getting 'Evil' up to level 10(it's sitting at level 7 presently, I find that using 'Secret Plans' in combat is a significantly faster method of leveling up national stats, then policies between battles. Poison Fog is an 'evil' secret plan, and increases your evil stat a fair amount when used. Be mindful of which stat your secret plan is increasing, and you'll max out national stats pretty quickly) My biggest issue is I can't seem to get better weapons. I know weapon quality is affected by the 'Artifact' equipped, but I can't seem to get higher then Rare Artifacts. I've not seen any Legendary, nor Epic artifacts, whereas, I have several Legendary gems, 7 Epic titles and 6 Epic 'Personal Secret Plans'. These PS Plans, are the ones you equip and use during battle(Like Army of One, Ultimate Slash, Reinforcements, Unleash the Tiger). Not to be confused with 'Secret Plans' that you pick before the battle ready screen.(Like Poison Fog, Thunder Bear, Fire Tiger, Wolf Pack, etc)
It's weird on how to really obtain better artifacts as they seem to be given by random. I have the legendary artifact so that's the third main and Ex set of weapons. As for epics, nothing. Been stuck with the 3rd for 2 full playthroughs. Titles however are kinda pointless. They do give buffs on your national stats but they always reset after every playthrough so you'd have to reaquire them in the next and personally.. I'm not into that. You do however keep the unit types though which fierce troops are my go to since it cuts out the Rock, Paper, Scissors bs mechanics. Nothing more I hate than beating on an officer damage sponge for 5 minutes because I do less damage from the unit type I am. Think the same applies with Combat medics, Bandits, Surrounding troops, and such but don't really use them much if at all.
i used dong bai and married Liu Bei and he is the lord and i received from him the horse that Guan Yu uses. I also received his secret plan and some legendary plan. I also realise when serving cao cao and married to him using xiao qiao i got legendary secret plan but it is really random. but the loots were better when serving Liu Bei and Cao Cao. I went to play as the child of Liu Bei and Dong Bai and joined Liu Shan army mostly i received trash from him other than a horse rare one
@Momoko Sakurada You unlock them by meeting the National stats requirements. For example Lu Bu's unique title is Ogre God. To unlock it you need level 10 Bravery and level 10 Eloquent. Each locked officer unique titles are only awarded to their owners through a level 10 in both stats of whatever it requires.
You aquire these titles by having good freindship with the character it belongs too. I maxed out NT on everything and have played 2 full games with only my edit officer and have aquired all the titles mentioned. The only thing i have not aquired as of yet is above purple artifact and horses. Other than one suckier than the starting horse.
Holy smoke ur game quality is clear and 4k like. My quality aint as good as yours. What did u use? Btw to acquire the rare items, would it depend on which difficulty level is being played?
Having played the JP version extensively, these items are RNG-based. So if you want the Red Hare, you're gonna have to wait and pray for the RNG. I know it sucks. The only upside of this is, the moment you get like a Legendary item in one save, you get to keep it forever, no need to finish the playthrough. You can start another playthrough and see the legendary item in your inventory from the other save game.
@@Benjamin-vd2gk Same as the video says, it's all random, so I suggest you make lots of friends as possible. Dunno if difficulty affects the rarity drop, I got Red Hare on Hard difficulty by sheer luck. It's all RNG. Although I'll be careful with Chaos difficulty, because it gets BS real fast.
Okay. Didn't say jack shit about getting better Artifacts. My theory is that the difficulty doesn't really up the rarity. I think it counts the Levels of the enemies. I didn't get any rares or epics until I started encountering higher level enemies.
Hey do your weapons get stronger and upgrade in this game i haven't been playing long but my weapon still looks the same and i cant seem to find any forges ps haven't played a warriors game in a long while
The better the artifact in rarity, the more slots you can add gems to the weapon! I thought you can buy them threw shop, but you can't sadly. I even went to the Merchant Lady who sometimes spawns in during your scrolls. Sadly for now, you can't buy weapons or Horses.
That's a good question I beat conquest on normal mode then switched over to a new save on beginner mode and played as a regular officer and was able to get 4 Epics, so I think its a game of chance/random. I do know however talking to your Officers by going on scrolls, they tend to give you REALLY good loot! I hope this helps alittle.
While it’s still mostly random, from my experience it was taking me many playthroughs to get legendary or epic artifacts on normal difficulty. But when I bumped it up to Chaos mode I was able to get the rest pretty quickly in a single run
Difficulty does make Epic drops chance increase. I don't know if the chances are different between Hard and Chaos.(Edit) Epics rarely if ever, drop at Normal or below difficulties.
I honestly don't know, I took my time too and when I beat the game and had a child with Lu Bu's Daughter, I was at Level 49. my guess its probably like DW9 and max level is 100!
@Aldi Nah, lol. I've seen officers towards nearing the unification of China being level 50-56. So it's more likely 100 max. However the game doesn't last that long to reach that point. Most cases you'll end up at level 40-45 or a bit higher at end. Least in my case.

Kinda hurt that Hex Mark is so much more OP than Speckled Mahogany, ngl. I loved Speckled in DW8E's
In other words, difficulty doesn't matter? Just clear battles and raise companionships, etc? Okay, sounds easy enough.
I got an epic gem in normal and red hare in normal
