- Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires Gameplay - All Musou Ultimate Attacks - All 104 Characters & DLC [4K 60FPS]
These are all the Ultimate Musou attacks in the game. A total of 94 characters with unique Musou Attacks. There are over 200 more generic characters that use one of these 94 Character templates for their attack patterns and ultimates. So I didn't bother showing them as they are the same. The last 10 are DLC characters, who also seem to use similar Ultimates to the original 94. Enjoy!

Thanks for doing this. I ust started playing and going to create a dozen characters. Then go straight into conquest mode. Needed the right moves for the right characters lol

i love the sheer amount of reused animations from as early as dw7. love it
Its more like reused choreography. This engine is completely new
I've been a huge Dynasty warriors fan ever since i played dynasty warriors 3 when i was a kid (26 now) and ive played em all including warriors orochi and shin sangoku musou. I hope DW 10 comes soon 😂

Hope for 10 they go back to 8 extreme weapons, the 9 cast can keep the new weapons added in 9 with but with the old system and only add like 4 new characters. Don't fix what's not broken.
I missed Wang Yi with twin trishula and her musou attack move. But Yuanji is my favorite char to play, swift move, easy musou gauge, effective and powerful.

I like musou games but ironically I haven't play many Dynasty Warriors. I bought 8 and didn't realize it was an open world.
It's so weird that for some characters they modeled in their new weapons (like Sima Shi and Xu Shu), but some characters they just kept their old weapons (like Lu Lingqi and Wang Yi). It's so weird.
Because Koei realized they screwed up bad with the base game release in replacing those "unrealistic weapons" with "realistic ones".
@@hansonwinx7843 Yes, but for characters with new weapons, some Musou attacks still don't use their new weapons (Lu Lingqi still uses sword and shield, Wang Yi still uses Chakrams, and Zhang He still uses Throwing Knives). It just seemed they got lazy once again. I just feel like they don't have the motivation to up the quality of their Warriors games because there's not many people anymore making these kinds of games. Sengoku Basara and Ninety-Nine-Nights used to be great competitors, Sengoku Basara especially, but 3N hasn't had a game in forever and Sengoku Basara's creator/director left Capcom (from what I heard)
It's funny how DLC characters are just custom created characters and not actual Musou characters
They aren't even identified as so since they don't have their own portrait and are considered among the generic filler officers

If they redo cloning again, because of going towards realistic.. why remove certain weapons?
Like Tomahawk is a real weapon, makes more sense than that dart weapon..
The normal Flute makes more sense than the Whip Flute (Zhen Ji's previous animation was just her hitting enemies with her hands, kicks, and flute as a bludgeoning weapon) Yeah the sound as damage is weird, but at least the way Zhen Ji did it was to allure kind of..
Heck if they go for realistic, they could remove Zhuge Liang & Sima Yi fans, and Zuo Ci Cards..
Im still annoyed by the choices they made on DW9..
At least they try to salvage it on DW9E, with the map & Character Customization
I don't get it. Zhang He's DW9 throwing knives movesets were based on his DW8's claws movesets, right? Now he's got his claws back but can't get the claws animations back also??
still so pissed that they didn't add in the test run mode. now i have to run it thru conquest every time i want to test-run a moveset (by god Huang Gai's Special move has really bad range and damage)
So they don't have a 2nd special besides the jumping one like they did in dynasty warriors 8 empires? Its just the rage special one?
They've only got an Aerial Musou and one of their old 8 Ground Musou's, but with the rage loop beforehand, basically.
Is it true that a few centuries before the Three Kingdoms, the Qin and Chu dynasties fighting each other was a more ruthless era? The things the King of Qin had to do before becoming China's First Emperor would have made a great DLC story?

dynasty warrior could've gotten THAT big if the devs mind doing some big improvement and updates often😩😩...I would love to play with updated and new characters every month. Can imagine if DW get THAT big that im playing it online with friends😩😮💨

i love how they were lazy to not add new musous to characters with de-cloned weapons, like, it probably wasn't hard to just make a new one, just grab some random motion and bam, you have a flashy musou.
i hope they add it in later stages of the game, and hopefully we can get some new weapons also, i hate how we don't have much stuff for customization like in DW8E

Dynasty warriors 8 empires was the peak of empires. 9 in general sucked ass and 9e is so disappointing considering they didn't capitalize on the open world even though it's accessible. Also graphically 8e outshines it as well

Why the heck they give Lu Lingqu that stupid sword and shield I cannot understand...
She has the crossed pike as her primary weapon but the sword and shield was her design in the way of the three kingdoms I believe.

gameplay loop got me bored after 1 hour. Same stuff. On the consoles it's a loading screen simulator. On PC much better but still there's only so much of the same old domestic cutscenes and political cutscenes you can take. I put in 7 hours and stopped after that. Needed some time to recollect. The characters all feel different and have a variety of moves. That's the best part, messing around with all the different characters and their unique movesets.
Only 1 special move now?
Not you can do 4 special moves. This one is the ultimate move that drains you full energy bar.

its terrible but..
I have 16 major suggestions they should consider
1. They need to use the open world and do updates to fix the game by going ahead and adding every option from previous empires, thats number 1.
2. They need to intergrate extreme legends into the games open world along with every option from previous extreme legends, making it so you meet people and recruit them in person, and people who are ACTUALLY doing things, NOT just standing there.
3!. They need to add at LEAST 50 new fighting styles, and weapons, this is series X/S like are you kidding me? They make millions off us every new release, and they make a low budget azz game that could probably fit on a nintendo 64. ALSOoo, they neeeed to give us at least 100 animations per weapon to pick and choose from for different attacks and counters, Even smackdown on Nintendo 64 figured that much out. Character creation is one of the most important parts of the whole experience. They got less outfits for freee >...> , than they had in DW4 like wtf o.0?
4! They need to understand, NOBODY wants to buy DLC just to make a bad game better. They need a good game FIRST. It's probably worth 20$ yet we are paying way more than that. They need to fix this... and they need to put the word BETA in big azz red letters on the front screen. They still have a chance to put off a Red Dead 2 and tell everybody their just testing out the game before the REAL game drops.
5! These guys need to look around the room and ask, who was in charge of adding bonus points to the game o.0??? And WHO was in charge of adding scenario creation, horse creation, soldier creation, unit ceation, and of COURSE, titles being shared to children?????????????? LIKE.... are you kidding me, what happened to the old creators? They need to come back and we need to start all over from dynasty warriors 4. They need to add warriors Orochi to EMPIRES. Don't they realize all of this needs to be the same game.
6! They need to add at least 100 more cut scenes, some are actually pretty nice, but umm,, why does every created officer have all the same cut scenes and animations, they need to change the animations and cut scenes according to the voice, merits, stats and more. Then they need to add at least 30 more voices for both genders. Speaking of.... umm, who left the wronnng person in charge of adding pitch altering to the voices??? They need to add that along with something like soul calibar had where you can also control how evil a voice sounds speaking offf...
7. They need to add stats to armor and clothing. Why the hell have all this armor if its not protecting you??? Why have less armor and still be slow? They need to integrate that. Then they need to ADD a template for every real playable character. If I want to make Lu Bu, I should be able to make Lu Bu just as he is in game.
8! You would think when everyone was mad they made a none English game, they would ADD ENGLISHHHHa, its the most common language in the world. They can afford voice actors, also they need to fire who ever slaughtered the voices of characters in dynasty warriors 9 and add a major voice update to both games. We already payed for it to be done, so money is NOT the issue here, right?
9. They need to go into the coding and the the glitch that keeps FREEZING the game, im on series X. Just realized my screen been stuck loading the whole time I been writing this review. Then they need to find whatever glitch makes you wait a million seconds to press anything after pressing your middle button to message or w/e.
10. They need to add a weather system, and speed it up a bit, the weather should be changing according to time, date, and area. , They need to make it so you can actually live in a castle and fix it up, not just some beat up house that makes you feel like less than a lord, emperor, or king. Who even goes to that dumb house? Then they need to make it so you can be attacked while roaming. And take away the roaming using up an action deal, it's stupid.... af.
11. Then they need to put all of the markets back, give us horse finding, taming, and training, black desert online style, then they need to add online play people can join your game and roam, atleast 6 players. They need to add, animal taming, and add MORE animals, more snakes, animals in the water, more animals to ride, they need to add boating and ships.
12. They need to open up the borders for invasions, when calling for reinforcements you need to be able to see them coming on the map instead of doing dumb missions that have you loosing left and right. They need to add atleast 30 more stratagems for the beginning of the battle. And add them back to mid battle options, then they need to add over 50 stratagems with different strengths.
13. Wheres the elephants? They need to add those and tigers and redo the animations on all animals. They need to add a stratagem where you release snakes on the enemy or use it during short missions speaking OFFF. They need to re add quests to the game, then integrate them into the game. Make the wars bigger, cover more ground and last longer. Spread it out more, and wayyy more enemies not just in bases, and then have you do quests across big plains, giving you much more time to do them and add over 40 quests...
14!. They need to add interactions, people doing stuff, how is it possible that skyrims npcs are better than this next gen games? They flat out just stand there. Nobody talks, they need to add Ai, and animations, sandboxes, and over 3000 animations to these npc's. They fix it where it always adds your character to the war, you can just make your Generals lead a war without you loosing more and more troop strength. They NEED to fix it to where you can assign more than one strategist, and create small army's with their own strategists and generals. They need to make it so you can assign a prime minister, a bunch of generals, and advisors, who then go out and do their duties. Also roaming the world with armies to do their deeds.
15. They need to add formation tactics to the game, like on warband, and make main camps wayyy more complex, where you can sit up on high alters with your strategist showing you the whole battlefield, take over any officer you want during battle, or take to the battlefield yourself by simply walking down steps or climbing down, or even jumping down. The same needs to be done with castles. THEN they need to add horse riding and fighting animations to all officers like w...t...f. thats something they had in much older warriors games.
and finally. 16. They need to add modding to the game, on steam, and for console, like skyrim did. People will make their game better for them, and make them millions upon millions over the years off one game. They need to add better music especially for roaming, more calming music. They need to add tons of birds, and flying mounts to the game as well, they need to redo the sound system almost completely. On character creations they need to add muscle sliders, as well as sliders on legs, arms, neck, butt, chest, thickness on each and all that like bdo.
This game is already in the do not buy catagory. Had they done all of this it would be a great game. They need to see this, someone has to put it in their face and make them read it, then they need to do it, Then they can add it as an update DLC to revamp the games and charge $100 for if they want, we would all be all over that game.
One problem...Koei wouldn't be bothered to read through all this even though I agree with most of these points.
@@neoncrossGRIMEAGLE agreed, their lazy, i played for about 3 days, then i deleted the game, Elden Ring just came out and its a hit, people are flocking to it, Koei failed again, some day they might hire people who know what their doing, they have the money, til then I wont encourage anyone to spend money on their games, I wont be buying anymore DW sadly I've been feeding them money since DW2
To add in to how horribly lazy they are
They could've just copy and paste Lu Lingqui's Musou skill if they're going to put the spinning blade as her weapon again, and they just decided not to which made it absolutely weird how she just change weapon for the Musou while she does have a Musou for it originally.

@@lycanbladefang4768 they copy and pasted most of this game, it wouldve been better if they wouldve copied and pasted everything from the last empires, atleast then we wouldn't be back tracking. I deleted that trash long ago. I play Black Desert Online now
Yeah koei getting lazy this is the fist dw that i skip to empire game don't raelly like dw 9 open world feel empty even samurai warrior 5 going generic i miss sw 4 also i'm so agree with warrior orochi empires idea imagine become emperor of both china and jpn haha
