- MooMoo, is a cat rescued out of an animal hoarder situation. Since his rescue, MooMoo has recovered from surgery to remove an abscess from his head.

MooMoo is so beautiful! He looks like a kitten, not a senior cat. I would love to adopt him if I lived in the area, but my cat is the queen of the house. :) She was around 2 years old when I adopted her and she already had kittens... I call her a teen mom. Her stomach was shaved because she just was spayed but we connected instantly. I never thought I could love a cat as much as my first one who died last fall, but my new cat is like family again! Adoption is the best decision I ever made
My cat was rescued from a hoarder. My cat was living in a cage. After that she was in a shelter for more than two years waiting to be adopted. I adopted her two years ago and she is so wonderful cat. I love my cat and I love people who adopt their pets.
I see all these sweet videos and it sends me back a few years when I adopted Wilbur. His mother and brother were at the shelter with him, and it was almost heartbreaking to separate them, but he got along just fine. Poor Willy got sick around Christmas, we were so scared that we'd have to put him down, even my dad cried. Thankfully hes all right now, sitting and purring in his little box right beside me :)
moomoo is so cute! my cat was 6 years old, almost 7, when I got him from a shelter. he's so sweet and funny. I love him and it also feels really good to give an animal from a shelter a loving home. I wouldn't want it any other way :)
I have a rescuecat i got when he was 14 yrs! Now he is 17 and still going strong and i plan for mig to live atleast 5 yrs more! I am blessed with my senior! One could never tell his age looking at him, he looks like 2-3 yers old! But he is the cosiest best cat anybody could ever have. And a big bonus is, He is not at naughtie as youngsters can be! He knows where it is ok to claw and climb and he loves his cattrees no problem with spraying or nothing! I'd say I prefer the older ones! :D

Shelter cats are the best cats.
People who truly only care about helping animals and giving them good homes would love to adopt older cats. People who want the pets for themselves and for entertainment want kittens and puppies.
I can't help but wonder what happened to him! Who was smart enough to adopt him? That person is blessed!

Im obsessed with cats, i am :') i already have two, (that werent adopted) and i love them to bits, but i love the idea of adopting cats that NEED a home , so when im olderim definetly going to adopt an older cat, because every animal needs lovee :'(

9 years old is considered a senior cat? What is a cat's average lifespan? I adopted my 14.5lb cat (skinny, just large) at 6 years old last December from the SPCA, after he had dental surgery. They told me he was in the un-adoptable category too, and had to be rescued from death row at another shelter. Everyone's loss is my gain because he is the best cat ever. How many people can say their cat is so careful that it has never scratched them? ;) Did moomoo get adopted?

Agreed. but stray cats are the best too. I am taking care of 2 stray cats now. wish I could take care of more because there are more than 30 stray cats in my neighborhood and the animal shelters are also so full that they have a weekly killing list. so sad.
