I have one and I love it. I find if I am using the pull string to get a purr, I run my pulling finger along the stock and it seems to work to produce a nice purr. Work with it to find out what works for you. I also find that if you use the tune, you can get it to what works best for you. Just make sure that you lock the tuning rod back into place. I didn't totally lock the tuning rod back in once and it free spun and no sounds were made till I tightened it back up. Overall Love it

It sounds better in person. The camera mic doesn't pick it up that well. It works, I've called in a turkey with it. Plan on calling in more in a couple of months.

To tune the call you have to pull up on the black push bar to be able to spin the tuning rod.
Hey I noticed when you “locked” it the call made a better cut noise.
My Grandad has one but I prefer my Slate call because ours constantly gets out of tune
