@@johnnyxx91 Yes I still have it but it’s been in pieces for 2.5 years now. Going through a nice build in collaboration with a billet parts manufacturer. Will be updating vids once I get the car back!
@@mikey_b00st I believe that I have the factory white lenses that came on the GTR. Did GTT's only come with amber lenses? I guess it will not make sense to leave the factory housing and lens instead of replace with the clear lamp kit you used as drls. I presume the GTT lense is the same size as the GTR's. I have not received the car yet. Just planning ahead. Thanks again.
seeking truth the GTT only came with amber lenses, I would imagine it only makes sense to buy the oem Nismo clear or smoked ones or the aftermarket clear ones. As just changing the lenses themselves might not fit properly or risk of breaking the lamp.
@@mikey_b00st My car has the Nismo white lenses but as I understand they are not "clear" like these aftermarket ones. If the lighting is too bright I can always put the White lenses back in for a diffused look. The switchback kit is just plug and play and will fit in the factory lenses and aftermarket lenses that CTAuto has to offer? I bought the clear lenses so I have options. Thanks a bunch.
Thank you! I ordered both parts and the housing should be arriving shortly, will be trying to install in the next day or two :) Been driving with my lights on as DRLs since somehow the previous owner got my GTT inspected and registered without them
Moody Aboulkhoudoud very happy this helped! Good luck with install, it is easier to hide wiring if you remove your bumper. But can be done without the removal of bumper if you don’t want to
@@mikey_b00st installed and all set! The only thing I don't love is that when the ignition is off the lights are still powered (since the mirrors are), but I'll live with it and yank the fuse if I'm ever in a situation where I want the car parked with radio but no lights
@@mikey_b00st I was thinking about trying that, might try a couple IGN ones, found a translation of the fuses so may as well. I'll let you know how it goes!
Still daily driving this car, no issues what so ever! These lights just call so much more attention than the factory ones especially with the LED switchbacks
Sorry i'm a noob when it comes to electrical stuff but you mean each bulb has a third wire which you connect them both through a single line and latter connect that same line into the fusebox, like a T Way connection? Any wire splicing needed or does the wires contain plug like heads?
Hi Kenny! The kit purchased from iJDMtoy is a conversion kit which turns out 2 wire bulbs over to a 3 wire system. You run the 3rd wire from passenger side bulb to connect over to the driver side 3rd wire. Then run through engine bay and wheel well in to the fuse box. Hope this clarifies for you buddy!
@@mikey_b00st Thanks for clarifying it for me, gonna give it a shot on my GTT and hopefully not break anything or get electrocuted. Your 34 is one of the cleanest looking 4 door skylines i'v seen in a long time btw
Kenny Last thank you! I got it like this and slowly making it my own little by little. Currently rebuilding the oem turbo and installing a downpipe. Will be posting video of that once it’s all done. Subscribe to keep seeing progress! Thanks again!
@@xbone8 hi, if you don’t get the right bulb it won’t convert from 2 wire to 3 wire. The 3 wire is what allows the switchback to run the DRL and then go back to turn signal function.
U got them wired into a fuse so they stay on with ignition on/driving. I want mine wired to headlight’s drl wire so when i turn on headlight drl both headlights n bumper drl will turn on together. I wonder if i can do without messing up anything)))

Moody Aboulkhoudoud you can always try using a different fuse to tap into. The one I used I chose because it was the first one I found that worked.

@@Nodir90 you can pick a fuse you’d like to tap in to. You shouldn’t mess anything up since it doesn’t draw much power.
