Passat B8 DPF regeneration

Anybody else experiencing this noise from under the car when dpf is regenerating? I can hear it since a while, can't remember if I heard it before. Is this normal or malfunctioning something?

Its normal. You can hear it too when you shift up. It kind of sounds cool sometimes. You can hear it so well because you are literaly sitting behind the turbo and DPF (due to RHD), the location the sound comes from. I cant hear it so well as you do, but my car is a LHD.
