I was at Boyd Millspond about a month ago navigating in about 16 inches of water. A guy putting his boat in at the ramp asked me if it was too shallow there. I gladly said, "Not for a kayaker".
Navigatable waters, easy and cost of upkeep, storage options, and footprint are the best to me.
Exactly. A friend of mine keeps telling me that his bass boat is going to be able to float in 4 inches of water. I didn't even waste time in responding. And for some reason he thinks his boat can go wherever a kayak can go.
