I had a 22 Rebel with pretty much identical options. mine stickered at $66,000. I ended up paying 59,500, more or less. The prices are out of control! Beautiful and capable truck, but way too expensive.
The new, downgraded taillights on the Rebel & Laramie are a disgrace. The 19'--24' LEDs were the best looking in the segment. Deleting the daytime running light LEDs on the front was a big miss as well.
Yes its unproven, but every engine is when it first comes out. I'll give it a few years and see of course, but initial feedback I've heard is this engine is amazing.
Ben, listen to this, where I live either these models are in transit or hard to find, except 50 miles away from me. I finally drove one to see the hype. The salesman & I had just got off the highway when the Rebel stalled, it jerked a few times when giving it the gas which I found very odd. We made it back to the dealership, where I saw two employees pushing a Mojave sands Rebel into the service area. My final thought, the experience was not good and don’t know the reliability of the engine or its components. It might be bold & sexy but Myself wants something reliable, I’ll wait until I can test drive another one, just to be impartial, priced at $66k with nice package, but the verdict is still out. Remind you, I’ve been driving the Big Horns for 21 years, Ram loyalist.
Nice truck. Should be priced 50-55 tops. But also should the Chevy Silverado and ford f150. All these manufacturers r outa there freakin minds with there pricing.
I love my 2020 Ram Rebel 5.7 w/E-torque I came from a Chevrolet 2500. The Rebel is a beast towing but when the hemi went away they lost me, back to chevy I go.
I dunno man, I'm hearing absolutely fantastic things about this Turbo 6. I'll give it a few years till they get some high miles on them but i have the 5.7 Hemi as well but this one intrigues me. GM/Chev seem to be having some transmission issues still so they scare me.
I absolutely agree with you about the price, compared to the RHO. But I would only consider the Rebel. I wouldn't even consider the RHO. It's not just the truck for me.
yeah big new screen with camera on 7" half of it, don't they think people would see better the detail where they backing or offroading if the screen would be twice size
Would the Rebel be more likely to see discounting or rebates?? Realistically it’s gonna be a bigger spread in price with the RHO than what the MSRP’s are telling us.
maybe USA numbers are way different then canada but im looking at 77k cnd for that spec rebel.and the rho i have seen at 138k so its a big difference here
I have a question, Ben. What is a Dodge Rebel? Actually, I have a second question as well... What is a Dodge? As my grandfather said, it doesn't matter how much lipstick you put on a pig; it's still a pig (Dodge).🤣🤣🤣
Lots of GM dealership are having big rebates right now. The ones with high prices are just sitting in the lot for ever . Good research is the key. Got a brand new 24 1500 Sierra AT4X fully loaded even with the speakers on the tailgate for $70k OTD . MSRP was $83k.😅
@@icexix9701 it was ! I couldn’t believe it tbh 😂 I’ve seen people paying over that for a trailboss (great truck but not even close to an AT4X). My budget was 60k but I had to stretch a little due the extra features. My truck was sitting in the lot for over a year even the battery was dead ( they put I new one and I was good to go haha) . Total was $16k off mrsp with rebates , gmc loyalty etc
As an owner of 19 ram rebel i can tell you the raptor is better. Especially at these dumbass prices. I got my rebel brand new for 45k otd. Msrp was 56. Today that msrp is over 70 and i dont see to many deals goin on.
On what planet is a Rebel comparable to Raptor… Maybe the Tremor, both I would take over a rebel. That turn dial transmission will forever be a deal breaker along with the rounded shape of the Bed
Just a heads up, the dial shifter is a more compact way to connect the electronically shifter, just like Ford and Chevy half ton trucks. The shifters in the console is just a big electric joystick... no mechanical linkage on any of them... sorry for the truth...
This has no place in the RAM 1500 lineup, when you can get an equally or better equipped RHO with H.O. engine for the same price. The Rebels will continue to be discounted, and the RHO will be full MSRP. Stellantis has no idea what they're doing.
Same here., I strongly agree that the Bitcoin ETFs approval will be greatly life opportunity for us, with my current portfolio of $102,500 from my investments with my personal financial advisor Steve Miley I totally agree with you😊

Great review. The Ram Rebel is certainly a contender. Bad video title. Ram Crushed the Raptor. Other than a mention of the Raptor's 80k price, there was nothing in this video to subdstantiate the title's claim. Title is an example of click bait.
@bestman7776 MSRP was like $73k. It's just the base model with the bed utility group. They come with some decent options. I had a level 1 TRX and this has the same or more options.
@bestman7776 Swapped it for a Hellcat Redeye when the TRX value was at a peak. Then went back to a Gen3 Raptor. Excited for the RHO, especially for the price.

In Texas they’re under70k rn
I just bought the Rebel X for $61k. MSRP was $75k
Just give me a ram 2500 tradesman, it'll do everything 95% of the population needs
@@RyanJohnson-ft6qi with the PowerWagon package!
@mrmoparrr 65k for a base tradesman power wagon lol
@mrmoparrr 45k for a regular 4x4 tradesman hemi
Loaded RHO at Mark Dodge is $75k. $85k minus $10k off of MSRP dealer incentive. No gimmicks.
The new, downgraded taillights on the Rebel & Laramie are a disgrace. The 19'--24' LEDs were the best looking in the segment. Deleting the daytime running light LEDs on the front was a big miss as well.
For only 20k more. Lmfao. Swing and a miss
I’m a RAM guy, owned a 22 rebel, and I would way rather have a raptor than this new unproven inline 6
Yes its unproven, but every engine is when it first comes out. I'll give it a few years and see of course, but initial feedback I've heard is this engine is amazing.
77K for Rebel? Nope
I would get a base RHO over this Rebel

Love my RAM 2025 Warlock!
The rho is 72 without the fancy package on it isn’t it? I would go with that.

Can you review the rebel X
yeah big new screen with camera on 7" half of it, don't they think people would see better the detail where they backing or offroading if the screen would be twice size
It’s nice but those red accents in the interior makes it look cheap.

Q: Why does Ben Hardy act like a surprised 12 yr old girl in all his thumbnails with his fingers up to his mouth in “My Surprised Look ….” ?
clickbait

Truth be told. I orginally was interested in the Rebel. Then the RHO was announced and the pricing was so similarly I just went that way.

@brunomendonca503 that's a great deal! I looked at the AT4X before also but never took it seriously because of 80k + haha

The price is just too crazy for modern pickup trucks, I love one but can’t say I’ll buy one over $80k.
The red trim interior and rotary shift knob are deal killers
Have my RHO on order. The Rebel pricing doesn't make sense.

I don't understand the SO hurricane. It doesn't get good fuel economy and is middle of the road on power.

They already have the 2025 Rebels at huge discounts here in California. Saw one the other day online for 62k.
Specs is one thing price is another
What rear end does the rho have
3.92
$77k? It's no way
Ben of half ton which has the best transmission
Ford's 10 speed especially if tuned it picks up 3/4 of a second in the 1/4
Will Ram still offer a BackCountry anymore?

Just withdraw my profits weeks ago, To be honest it was an amazing feeling when the profits hits my wallet i wish i could reinvest but, too much bills
I’m confused by your clickbait title. You’re insinuating a Rebel is equal to a Raptor???
2025 Ram 1500 Rebel SST Crew Cab 4X4!
This or GMC Sierra
Sierra AT4X with the 3.0 diesel any day. 25+ MPG and will kill this thing in any off road scenario.
@Rollingstone1988 Yeah, That was I Say
Kamel Toe Harris loves the Rebel.
Sleepy joe likes ford
I'm a nissan titan guy...Nissan messed up not making the Titan..most reliable truck I ever owned..old man talking..
😂 expensive foreign sport truck that sounds like a fart machine
This is the direction trucks are going in whether we like it or not
L💗VE IT!!!👍
Yeah but not the one with the turbo inline 6 engine
lol what a troll title
RAM is becoming truck Porsche. Bed liner and power outlet is a 600 dollar option? lol. gimme a break

That interior looks like someone was trying too hard, but 16 year old boys will love it.
Red interior accents look ridiculous. But overall the Rebels are awesome trucks.
The only way to get rid of the red interior is to order a level two package which is all black, had to do that on my 25 rebel
I agree adult males over 45 years don't want a boy racer truck
Just quit buying Dodge....let them sit and LEAVE THEM ALONE....
I have owned 4 Rams and they have been nothing but reliable. Every time I get into a friend's GM or Ford it feels cheap
It sounds like a vacum cleaner. The passenger screen is a waste.
Ordered my RHO for $64k from Koons. That Rebel is $20k over priced.
$64k??? How base is that?
