Picked mine up last Friday, same color. 60k. I agree with you, any more and I'd rather spend it on the RHO. Was going to wait, but I've been hearing crazy markups for the RHO...
Max I would pay is 45k you people are nuts for buying them. Did you know it costs them about 22k to make one? Even with marketing and profits that is too damn high and the only reason they are doing it is because this generation pays the prices. Learn to stop paying the prices asked and watch the prices drop fast!
I’ve always enjoyed checking out all the new vehicles but since covid it is not enjoyable they have just got to the point everything is atleast 30% over priced. You really don’t get enough value to consider the prices. Maybe we need to go back to basics with only one computer and normal electric wires that don’t have glitches. They could take about $30,000 of computers and electronics out and we would have a cheaper more reliable vehicle.
Swing and miss IMO for a special edition truck. The Rebel trim option was exciting 10 years ago when it came out but nothing has really changed with it since then. In that time Ford and GM came out with the Tremor and AT4/Trail Boss offerings, which are much more off road ready. As you mentioned, some of the smaller details like the lack of red stitching to match the seats, standard LED (or even blacked out Night Edition) taillights really should have been included, especially for an $80K sticker price. HO engine would have been nice, but I think that starts encroaching on the RHO. Shoot even the 4 corner air suspension with a little taller ride height would have helped make this a little more desirable. It really is indicative of the issues Ram/Stellantis is facing in terms of inventory. They’re falling behind in innovation and the market is responding.
Ram please make all the 1500 and 2500’s with the GT console shifter if you refuse to go back to a column shifter! 1. Column Shifter 2. GT console shifter ….. ….. ….. ….. ….. ….. 97. Dial shifter
Couldn't agree more. I love my 19" Laramie dial shifter and sliding center console. You can throw a ton of stuff in there and keep it all out of sight. It even fits a MacBook Pro laptop.
Thats actually the most hated thing about the newer rams. Majority of people hate the shifter by the steering wheel. Everyone prefers it down by the center console
Wish ford brought their desert sand color to their f150s especially tremor or raptor And gm brought back their version to their 1500s at4x or trial boss Tundra trd pro mud bath And this rebel x Mojave sand only colors in this segment
Start Stop disable? The special starter and other garbage required cost an extra $2000 per truck and requires more expensive maintenence. How do I disable all that?
I don't like it because it's too quiet and it costs too much. My 2022 growls when I start it, especially during a cold start. Plus, my 2022 cost 10k cheaper. I prefer my 2022 v8 @ 70k. The only thing I don’t have is the passenger's screen and the passenger's 16-way seat.
Ram desperately needs to do something about payload on these trucks. With only 1200lbs you'd max that thing out with a travel trailer that's 6000gvwr. How hard would it be for them to increase the gvw of the truck by 500 or 600 lb so it's actually useful. There are lots of crossovers out there that have more payload than this thing
That isn't a donut (space saver) tire, it's just an all terrain tire instead of an extra duratrack, same as my 23' Rebel. I didn't really care for the dial shifter on mine at first, but have come to love the extra console space and storage. The 2025 is a nice truck, but nothing beats that Hemi engine for sound! With Ram and dealer incentives, I paid roughly $59000 USD (out the door) back in January (bought it 6 months from build date, literally off the show room floor) for mine, and it has everything except the heads up display. Monotone flame red, night edition with level 2 equipment group, and she gets compliments anywhere I take her.
Notice the engine? 3L inline 6. No thanks. Ram is about to go under since they stopped putting V8s under the hood. Any real man that buys a truck for what a truck is for does not want a 6
@rcud1 I don't see fords doing a lot of heavy towing with those 6 cylinder motors, that's my point. Any ford pulling a camper, boat, etc is being done by a 3/4 ton.
Had to give another thumbs down for no road test - please road test, or if you can't, then say so up front so I know I am just watching a features video please.
Base RHO has more options, 35" tires, better suspension and performance, and a high-output 540 hp motor for $73k. This is a miss at price point for a truck.
Why would anyone buy this when you can get a fully loaded RHO with Limited Interior and H.O. engine for only $6k more? Why the junky incandescent taillights, RAM? The 19'-24' Rebel & Laramie LEDs are way nicer looking.
What happened to the days you can buy plain Jane truck for base price, build your own rebel or special edition with aftermarket parts, and do it for 30k less than msrp?? It's amazing how lazy the American society has become as a whole, myself included, that we continue to pay for these. I'd say stelantis just sealed there Faye with these
Had a '19 Rebel with everything on that truck except the "X" sticker. Paid 53k for it.
Completely agree... if it had the HO, I would have bought this in this color for sure.
You can get these now for around 62K - 65K with discounts.
Price is ridiculous!
Max i would pay for this trucks 55K-60K
Agreed. Its a looker, but no way in hell am i giving sticker. $60k max. Cause none of these trucks are worth their sticker prices.
Picked mine up last Friday, same color. 60k. I agree with you, any more and I'd rather spend it on the RHO. Was going to wait, but I've been hearing crazy markups for the RHO...
80K WTF!
I paid $61k for mine

I prefer the column shifter. I would never buy a 5ft box. How about reviewing a 2500 Hemi and a 3500 Hemi.
Nobody cares what you prefer cupcake

Absolutely, we need to go back.

I had a 2019 ram rebel traded it in for a 2024 2500 at4. Had to get away from Stelantis downfall
I saw a review of this exact same trim with the same options, and that reviewer said it has the 360 camera views
Ram please make all the 1500 and 2500’s with the GT console shifter if you refuse to go back to a column shifter!

97. Dial shifter
Damn nice truck. My only complaint is that shifter is a waste of space.
You can get with the dial shifter instead. The middle shifter is an X option
@@rcud1 its a sport option, not a X option. X just happens to have it as well
Put this up against the Ford Tremor with 402a equipment group. Not the standard rebel that's the competition for this truck
WOW on the price my 2023 TRX level 2 granted with discounts was 88K. I believe the RHO with discounts is that price odd.
Love the comment, all covered in plastic. 😂😂😂
Wish ford brought their desert sand color to their f150s especially tremor or raptor

Tundra trd pro mud bath
And this rebel x Mojave sand only colors in this segment
Might as well get the rho or a 2500 from 2024
Holy Overpriced. Easy to see why theses aren't selling fast.
Cold Start? Did I miss it?
Get a zr2 for way less and at4X as well. Give me those front lockers
Also get a blown engine with the 6.2 L
That’s a Big Miss, but nice truck!
Damn you could get a loaded HD right now for $80k and this doesn’t have the HO motor
NO HEMI, NO RAM!!!!!!
Start Stop disable? The special starter and other garbage required cost an extra $2000 per truck and requires more expensive maintenence. How do I disable all that?
Paying $3500 for Rebel X package basically for paint and decals is ridiculous. This truck will fail.
No working hood scoop on an engine that needs to breathe?
The front vents are functional, the middle scooop is not on this but is functional on the RHO
It’s crazy overpriced. How much is a RHO? 70k
More than 70k.
Base model RHO is $72k. Fully loaded is $85k. Stellantis is cannibalizing the Rebel.
Supposed to be but you won’t find one for that, I’ve seen them for around 90k
I don't like it because it's too quiet and it costs too much. My 2022 growls when I start it, especially during a cold start. Plus, my 2022 cost 10k cheaper.
I prefer my 2022 v8 @ 70k. The only thing I don’t have is the passenger's screen and the passenger's 16-way seat.
@@mahidikarif2123I’m the same I just bought one too. Sounds like my mom’s caravan. It’ll blow the doors off the hemi. The fuel mileage is shit too
Missing the HEMI, and it is a no sale without it. They can keep their six cylinder bullshit.
You’re living in the past.
@ I have a hell of a lot of people that agree with me.
@@JasonJonathan78 yeah. The same people who complained about CD players being removed.
Full size truck with a 6 cylinder 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Overpriced SUV .
79k. Thats funny.
It’s a shame that they don’t make the rebel in the quad cab anymore have no need for the crew cab just need the quad cab

The new Rebel is disappointing, the grill and lights look a lot cheaper than the previous year and the new 6 cylinder wont be as reliable as the Hemi.
to early to tell how reliable new engine will be but so far so good.
It’s anything but disappointing…..👍
in philadelphia it's worth 50 bucks
You.ll be very thankfull for those incandesent tail lights if you ever need to replace one. $$
I gave the same for my 3500 h.o big horn dually with sport package lol 50 gal tank and all!! Fuck that lol
So you get a more powerful I6 and ditch the gas hog less powerful Hemi and people gripe. smh.
$80,000…enough is enough
"Where are all the original rebel owners at?" "I borrowed it" You mean to say does that thing have a hemi?
soooo you cant use the tailgate step when the tail gates down... got it! thanks!
No V8 No Hemi! Sales for Ram will continue to dwindle. Rightfully so
Oh stop crying.
@ -hurt
@@Buuboi214 I know you’re hurt but it’ll be ok sweetie
Almost 80k and not even skin plate ? 😂
Put a 6.4 L hemi in the truck and I might be interested. Complete joke that they put a six cylinder engine in this full size off-road truck.
No v8 no sale period
Why won't someone just buy a RHO? Order from Mark Koons or Granger get 10k off MSRP and you have a much better truck.
9:41 It’s pronounced MOLLY like the name of a person. Not mole-ie like the underground hamster.

Check out the stainless works x-pipe and exhaust for this 3.0 engine. Sounds really good.
The price is out of line. I could see $55K or $59K. But $80K is crazy
54k in 2019
There’s one at my local dealer for about 64k in this exact spec… That seems a little more reasonable.
With rebates it will be close. 15k off is back
Would rather have ZR2.
No thanks
Notice the engine? 3L inline 6. No thanks. Ram is about to go under since they stopped putting V8s under the hood. Any real man that buys a truck for what a truck is for does not want a 6
Is that why Ford has been selling EcoBoost engines for dozen years now?
@rcud1 I don't see fords doing a lot of heavy towing with those 6 cylinder motors, that's my point. Any ford pulling a camper, boat, etc is being done by a 3/4 ton.
Not worth the price tag
By a long shot
Insane price not worth it 6 cylinder screw that
Nice truck but way overpriced

Not paying no $80,000 for a truck
I'm sorry but $80,000 is not a base model truck
I had a 2022 Ram Rebel I paid 56,000 and it was pretty much loaded
80 k gtfo
Rip off alert
80K for a 1500 and that's before tax... Maybe 60K, but No Thanks!
I paid 2022 dollars for a rebel gt. I can say this - I’m not trading for this downgrade.
1/2 t, 6 cylinder, 5' box, 80k, really?
Ram is too much greenbacks they are selling zero of them, I got a 2023 looking to buy new but no Hemi forget it.
You lost me as a buyer at the base price.
You guys gotta stop take dealership money boosting up those pieces of crap.
Garbage. I paid 64 for the diesel rebel in 2022
Why would anyone buy this when you can get a fully loaded RHO with Limited Interior and H.O. engine for only $6k more? Why the junky incandescent taillights, RAM?
The 19'-24' Rebel & Laramie LEDs are way nicer looking.
Way to much for a half ton. I could see paying that for a half ton if you could option the 3/4 or 1 ton engine and trans, gas or diesel either one.

Beautiful trucks I got to drive one.. That inline 6 is a Beast.. The interior is to die for they knocked it out of the park.. Take my Money.👍💪
Way overpriced !
Way over priced
Looks like crap and engine sucks
