I'm just fascinated by the look on Tobias Forge's face when he listens to people. I imagine that he's really someone who really listens to the words of his conversation partner
Tobias Forge is a creative genius. With himself and each ghoul and ghoulette who bring amazing talent and energy to the band has made every ritual we have attended leaving us satisfied yet yearning for more. Looking forward to what is to come!
@@thenickapocalypse Agreed. CC and previous Papas are entertaining but I don't want to get to know his characters, I want to know more about Tobias himself
Very cool - I just saw Ghost 2 nights ago, and I'm still reeling. Tobias is right about he and the cardinal being two different entities. I have a hard time imaging this gentle man becoming the incomparable Papa or the Cardinal. He's a friggin' genius.
Best show I have ever seen.(I've seen many). October 8, Moline, Illinois. Just a fantastic performance. My sons said they can die satisfied now! More please!.
I am so in shock that his speaking voice is more American than his Cardinal voice. Great interview! Attended my first ritual on October 14th in Grand Rapids
I'm impressed that each of his characters have unique ways of moving, their own hand gestures, sometimes very subtle. Each of his characters has their individual voice and he uses them to sing the songs. It really is quite amazing.
Tobias has got to be bored off his ass with all of these questions that have been asked 1000 times before. Yet, he still answers them graciously. Someone please come up with new questions!
A lot of people say Ghost aren't metal, and when they say that I say they fit right along metal bands such as Witchfinder General, Satan, and Angel Witch. Glad that Tobias said himself that he wanted Ghost to fit next to Angel Witch. Shows a lot of people don't know their roots of metal.
Well said. Sweden had a lot of metal bands with pop elements in the music in the early 80s as well, often a form of NWOBHM that is more melodic and sometimes a pop hook here and there. ua-cam.com/play/PLUfbeknqZP9tCFX0eRRazfLrXnIm8Xeqa.html < Some of these bands are good examples
@@LoudnessJP I just don't know at what point metal became so shitty that it was a terrible thing to have a hook in a song. All my favorite bands are my favorite bands because they now how to write a good hook/chorus. And it doesn't matter what genre of metal it is, memorability is the difference from an album being one I'll listen to over and over, to an album that just sits on my shelf gathering dust. It's when I catch myself singing a song in my head that I reach for that album next to listen to. Even extreme bands like Napalm Death understand the importance of a hook. That's why even Napalm Death are one of my favorite bands.
well basically all of the interviews questions have already been answered by tobias numerous times before. just search on youtube for interviews with tobias (in 2019). boring and bland questions.
True but there is always some new tidbit that Tobias shares about himself or his vision. I so wish that people would ask more interesting, non recycled questions.

He seems extremely respectful and proper-mannered.
Sorry what did you say?

I could listen to him talk all day
I'm definitely more interested in him as a person versus CC. I don't care about CC. Tobias is CC and he is who matters to me.
@@thenickapocalypse Agreed. CC and previous Papas are entertaining but I don't want to get to know his characters, I want to know more about Tobias himself
You got it. He's the one that made Ghost an iconic. It's what he has to say that catches my attention 👍
I could stare at your profile pic all day
@@aspectator6506 you probably didn't intend it but that sounds kinda creepy lol

People need to realize that its all a story and concept , the cardinal is just a concept character that is played , theatrics and stage play etc...
This man God I just adore him. GENIUS!
A little bit of the cardinal popped out in his voice around 7:35
"no-uh! I want this band to be so cool!"
I love this man😤😤
Tobias Forge really is an creative and overall amazing person! 💕
Best show I have ever seen.(I've seen many). October 8, Moline, Illinois. Just a fantastic performance. My sons said they can die satisfied now! More please!.
I feel the same way - saw them 2 nights ago and I still can't think straight! Got some zombie dust and papa dollars too!
Saw the band in Memphis last May! The performance was unreal! I am very glad I had the opportunity to see them.
I want to know when the ghost movie is being announced.
Jacoby me too
#MeToo
He made the mistake of mentioning a rock opera project during an interview and now that's all I think about. The teasing, Tobias, make it stop!
There's already one, featuring Patrick Swayze.
I actually kind of want to see a book first before the movie planning starts.
He kind of reminds me of a young David Lynch.
😻😻😻 Best Director in the world!
1:32 I think he's talking about MCC ! And they're now writing their new album ! Can't wait to have more Ghost and more MCC !
2:02 that sound. 🤣
7:40 though
Glad he is doing unmasked interviews. Seeing Ghost next week for second time. Why is there a bird statue there?
The bird is there because..... I honestly don’t know.... just- Germany...
Great interview. And great interviewer! I’m liking this greasy happy German fellow.
I can't believe he didn't mention 1986's Transformers movie.
He mentioned The Room XD that's so great
I want to attend a screening with him. Yell, throw spoons at the screen and hear him sing 'You Are My Rose'. That'd be ridiculously awesome.
I literally laughed out loud at the mention of The Room!
@@fadedgallipolirblx275 Same!
I love Tobias Forge 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

He has character voices
Cardinal Copia is a Swedish man speaking English with an Italian accent. Tobias's genius creation.
That’s exactly what makes the cardinal classy. The Italian accent and how he gesticulates in an Italian way.
I'm impressed that each of his characters have unique ways of moving, their own hand gestures, sometimes very subtle. Each of his characters has their individual voice and he uses them to sing the songs. It really is quite amazing.
He transforms in every way and that helps him when he's up on stage. It's very comforting to him I feel.
Tobias has got to be bored off his ass with all of these questions that have been asked 1000 times before. Yet, he still answers them graciously. Someone please come up with new questions!

Great interview!
Tobias looks so cool normal, I like him more….LONG LIVE GHOST!!!
Love listening to his interviews. But some of them I have to increase the playback to 1.25 lol

4:57 Wut?
Why did your last album have so much filler?
It had a few good songs, but it had 3 instrumentals!
Miasma is incredible- not just filler!
Tobias: [sometimes i still have ideas for merch]
Like that amazingly ugly Cardinal plushie? :D

employ me I have a ton of absurd ideas😄
seriously though I love all the fan theories out there and i think they can be utilized in Ghost 👻 story
Poor Tobias is like wtf?! Lol
7:39 is how I am after I hear a good band and then see how shitty they look
7:30 hahahaha
