This show goes up so many levels when the guests are intelligent football fans rather than just club fans arguing for their own team. This segment was super interesting.

Imo this is very true, Nico Williams has been fantastic for Athletic Club like Palmer has done for Chelsea Nico has helped Athletic to a Cup Final. Has been integral to displacing the Top 4 in Spain and I dont think the Buyout Clause is actually a thing after he signed his new deal I'd be really surprised that it still exists but tbh I don't see him wanting to leave anytime soon.🤞
It's actually so refreshing having someone like Dougie on who not only champions the European Leagues, but actually knows what he's talking about 😂 I understand the inherent Prem bias from an English channel but it gets sickening sometimes.

Did he win everything at club level this season? Because this is based on this season. If this was based on winning everything at club level then Rico Lewis and Oscar Bobb should be in this for doing that too last season. He’s still a great player but ever since Jude came in and took up another midfielder spot that puts him lower than what he was at last season. And you can’t say he plays 3 different positions because that’s not based on this season now that Mendy and Fran Garcia took that LB position back.
@@marvinprudencio7321 This season, Camavinga won the Spanish Supercup and is about to win La Liga. Rico Lewis and Oscar Bobb's impacts are incomparable to Camavinga's. Jude Bellingham is irrelevant. I'm talking about Camavinga being better this season than multiple players on the final list in this video. Camavinga has played 3 positions this season. He's played CM, DM and LB. He played left-back against Napoli in the UCL, Barça and Girona in La Liga, and Atletico in the Spanish Supercup.
Yea Cama should be top 6 easily…having players like Palmer, Udougie Williams and Zaire above him is just pure madness. None of them would see the Copa Del Rey field if they were at Madrid, much less a starter in the biggest matches

Shoutout Jarell Quansah has looked unreal everytime he plays and didn’t look out of place against treble winners Man City. So calm on the ball for a cb of his age. Probably not played enough this season to be considered but he’ll be in these convos soon
And for that matter, Conor Bradley and Harvey Elliott. Any of those 3 should get a shout at least. Harvey is pretty insane with his work rate but i think Bradley and Quansah have the potential to be the best in the world at their positions in the future

I know he didn't play much games this season, he's quite fresh discovery but Pau Cubarsi in Barcelona is absolutely unreal CB. He's starter for Barcelona, he's their most balanced defender, in his Champions League DEBUT at age 17 he instantly won MOTM award for pocketing Osimhen. In my opinion he's a talent on Lamine Yamal's level. He can do everything - solid defensively, insane in ball distribution, calm as an ice.
On the beginning of game against Napoli Napoli's players thought that he's a youngster debuting in UCL so he's gonna be nervous so they pressured him but quickly realised that's pointless, because he's that good in passing that he was instantly punishing them for leaving their space to pressure him.

Cole Palmer undoubtedly has to be in the top 5. I watch a lot of youth football and I honestly never rated him that much until this season. He has been sensational in the best and hardest league in the world. He can dribble, has great vision, has a brilliant touch and is a great finisher. He affects the game in any part of the pitch.
Credit to Lamine Yamal, 16 years old, bright young generational talent for sure but surely Cole Palmer has been better this season no? Personally feel like Cole deserves to be top 5 (Liverpool fan).

@ngolomessi9385 not for me... he hasn't done enough to show that he's one of the top 10 youngsters in world football. Most games he struggles and has zero presence upfront. Unless he scores, which isn't very often, he has zero impact on the game

Palmer at 8 made and the the players ahead of him made me realize that the Chelsea hate is real.
Dougie Wirtz is waiting for Barca. He has beena barca fan his entire life and his father recently came out saying he will stay at his current club for at least ankther year or two. Thsi is to give barca time to get the transfer money together. If Barca hire Nagelsman or Flick as well that will help having a german coach.

Wirtz big move this summer to city will take him at par with Bellingham, he is limited by team he play for Bellingham had same numbers when he played for Dortmound, wirtz fit city team to perfection, he will help Foden to play more up the pitch and him taking that central midfield role

I think Udogie should be higher given how many young attacking mids and wingers there are now they can't all become the best in the world but for defender/goalkeepers wonderkids have a good chance of being in the top 3 in their position as a kid and can become the best in the world.

I think sometimes we get blinded by these super young talents and what they are doing at big name foreign clubs. WZE, Xavi, and Lamine are better footballers and probably have a much higher ceiling than Palmer but they are not having a better individual season. Neves and Savio should also probably be on this list, definitely ahead of Tel and Udogie.
