Today, I'm looking at every single Premier League side and selecting their Player of the Year. Might sound rouge but gotta say Ryan Christie has been Bournemouth’s best player this season. He has changed our midfield completely and massively goes unnoticed by the other clubs.

As a Bournemouth fan, it’s one of Solanke, Christie, Cook, or Zabarnyi. Semenyo has only been a world beater for like a quarter of the season if we’re being honest. Shout out to Smith as well for rolling back the years, and Kluivert for pushing into the team and being near undroppable.

Love that you put Schar in. A quality quality player who often gets overlooked, massively underrated. Gordon and Isak deserve the mention, obviously I would like to put Bruno in there as he's been incredible but Schar definitely deserves to be an option.
Gordon been unreal for Newcastle. I thought he was just another young player who had pace and work rate but not much else at Everton. By September this year i had him in my FPL and he hasn't left, top player.
For Sheffield Utd gustavo hamer has been so underrated he’s got to stay in the prem next season
Yeah gus hamer has been our best player by miles, hope we can keep ahold of him. Then closely followed by Robinson and he hasn’t been in the squad long but arblaster has been brilliant but gone under the radar and at only 20 he looks very promising. Mcatee has been good but compared to last season has been underwhelming
For Brentford, it is tough because essentially all of our really really significant players have missed most of the season. Before he had gotten hurt, I may have said Mbeumo he has been beating of the offense. It looks like norgaard is going to miss around a quarter of the season as well. Because of this my answer is actually Vitaly Janelt. I believe that he has started every single game and after literally all of our fullbacks got hurt, he even played around a full of the season at left back. In a season where everything went wrong, he was reliable and consistent every single game. That’s really all we needed.
Yeah injuries seem to have derailed half the league this season!

As a LFC fan, I’m happy VVD is back to his best, but for me I would make Macca the player of the season. Started the season out of position as a 6 and did very well. Since his move back to his preferred 8 he has been brillant. An absolute bargain as well for a World Cup winning midfielder and in a position going into this season was major questions marks. Now looks like we have our 8 for many years.

Watkins is my player of the season for the league this season, the amount of goals he's scored without penalties is incredible. I used to watch him at Exeter as well. So It's nice to see him do so well in the prem

Our best and most important player by a country mile is Romero.
He’s so intelligent with the ball at his feet, his passing range is so underrated.
His patience on the ball is weirdly beautiful too. There have been countless instances, but the Palace goal is my favourite example.
Twitter found it hilarious that him and Vicario had about 30 consecutive passes between them. Palace didn’t want to press at all. Dier, Davies etc would shift it to Porro after realising Palace didn’t want to press.
I think it was Will Hughes that finally gave in, Romero passes through midfield and we sliced through them like butter. Not to this extent, but that patience and intelligence is there every single game.
He’s far, far less rash than everyone likes to believe.
And also has the responsibility of not just a completely new back four. But a new keeper and what may as well be a new 6 in Bissouma. Everything around him is brand new, and he’s doing a fine job of leading them.
VDV has that one undeniable flashy trait. As brilliant and important as his pace is, he is nowhere near Romero when it comes to their all round game
This is really interesting, I do like Romero. But it feels like he looks WAY better because of VDV.

It doesn’t matter at all because there’s literally one player that gets our award, but for Chelsea Caicedo and Jackson have had better years than Gallagher. Gallagher had a good start and then was pretty iffy for a while. He pops statistically because the system is build around him. His actual performances… sketchy. For me it’s palmer then a big gap then gusto then Caicedo
Feel like because Caicedo cost by so far the record PL fee it's tougher for him. The expectation is huge. £115m has he performed at that level I suppose?
@@joethomlinson_ I guess that’s the difference between looking at it as an outside vs as a Chelsea fan. I haven’t thought about his price tag since his first few starts and I haven’t heard many Chelsea fans mention it. Whether he’s worth the money I don’t know but to us we see that without him our midfield just does not work. Nor does our buildup through midfield. Or at least to me it’s clear haha. Him palmer and Gusto are the players that this team cannot function without. To me him and Gallagher have had polar opposite seasons. Caicedo started slow and it cut the narrative legs out from under him but by November he was putting in consistent 7/10’s. Gallagher went off like a rocket then cooled over time (picked up recently). I can understand why it seems strange given the money tho, I forget about it often

@@garymaidman625 before the Luton match and before wissa scored those 2 goals. Mbeumo scored 8 goals and 5 assists this season. Wissa has 10 goals and 1 assists and maupay has 8 goals and 3 assists
@@LeeMassey87 regardless of stats, he has been injured for the majority of the season and therefore cannot be named player of the season. That's why Norgaard is the better shout. He has been doing it for the entire season.
Andersen hasn’t been at his best this season so I wouldn’t put him for palaces number 1, although he is a great player. I would say Lerma or Mateta maybe

Forest have the 6th best xGA in the league... it's the GK situation. It's UNREAL how man points we lost thanks to Vlach and Turner... when you say to other fans "We'd be midtable COMFORTABLY with a decent keeper..." it sounds bombastic. But it's so true. We've been so much better than our current table position suggests.

Because Everton need money. He's 21 and highly thought of by pretty much every major club.
@joethomlinson_ he's already at a major club. And Everton can sell Onana instead, Branthwaite has just signed a 5 year contract, if they do sell him it should be for no less than £100m

Schär has not had a better season than Isak, what are you on about? You spoke so highly of Solanke, and Isak have as many goals but he's also been out for like a 1/3 of the season injured and missed a lot of games, which makes his goals total even more impressive imo. Also Macca player of the season for Liverpool.

honestly the fact that diogo dalot is even in there is insane its so sad. To see cannon fodder in our team being deemed worthy! We had a problem with two much star power and now we have a problem with skill level (cuz we turned our mentality to pleasing our manager) mind you this still hasn't worked. My choice would be out of Gordon, Bruno G. and Schar. Each have missed maybe one game each and have been the best players in their respective area of the pitch. Isak would be an honourable mention as he has missed roughly one third of the season
Anyone who thinks dalot is anywhere near united best player this season has absolutely no ball knowledge and shouldn't be allowed to watch football. Dude makes 3 mistakes a GAME and is never consistent. Awb is better than him by lightyears, (yes almost better going forward too) dalot has AT MOST had 2 GOOD games this season.
