hi, thanks for you video, really usedull. just a question, how to you release the cable from the rubber which seal the cable from outside to inside the car, the head of the cable is bigger then the hole on the rubber, even If I strongly pull the cable out, it remains loked on that crossing rubber, any tips or picture please? thanks
If you purchase a new cable it will have a new seal. You will need to get a good grip on the old one and pull it out. It will likely tear apart. I pulled mine from the engine bay.

(actually my cable was well damaged and I bought another w210 to get spare parts, I didn't know how removing it) it runs well now! thanks by the way I can't found any video on removing upper hose from coolant fan. mine has been eaten by rotation of AC compressor up to leak during and holiday trip, I bought a new one but I would like to know if I miss any clamp or other support avoiding the pipe to be so near AC spinning pulley. a picture of your clean and we'll maintain engine bay would be perfect to guide me how changing it. thanks again. best.

I accidentally left one of the sides unattached and closed the hood. I ended up having to hit a hole in my hood 🤣

eBay or buying a new one from the dealer. There are some aftermarket ones but the fit and finish isn’t as good as the originals
