Nicely done sir! I have the same car and purchased one of these for my truck to see if they worked. I find that the magnet is sub par or the steel ring is not enough to really hold. I did take note to the magsafe case suggestion. I will try that before purchasing one of these for the Cab. One quick question thou, how did you get your ashtray to open that quickly? How does it drive after you change stock springs

You can tell by the sound that the M113s ignition is digitally controlled by an ECU. It sounds more "clinical" and not as raspy as the M119.

As long as the trim doesn't have deep scratches on it, I would go for faded gold color trim. Adding unique patina characteristics of classic Benz

The roof mechanism is acting up and he said he’d do a new exhaust which i don’t mind dealing with either. I’m buying a set of mono blocks first for it just need to fig out the 17 or 17 and width. I lowered my w124 onto lowering springs. I took it to an alignment shop and they said that they couldn't adjust the camber and caster. How did you go about doing that on your car?

Great vid. If I just want to remove the headliner for reupholstering (original grey), and don’t want reupholster or recolour any other parts, can I leave the rear deck and rear seats in place? Is it possible to remove the headliner while leaving the front seats in? What about centre console and steering wheel?
