Crossfit is a sport you dumb ass
Superman/Juggernaut: strongman
Hulk: powerlifter
batman/wolverine: cross fit
Thor: Olympic weightlifter
Venom: body builder
Daredevil: Bodyweight specialist (calisthenics)
Spiderman: Gymnast
Pretty clever comparison list right here!
The major difference with crossfit and other strength sports is like comparing mma to boxing and wrestling. The former combines the lattter. But you can be expert in each.
It's nice how he is using the word "just" when he explains olympic weightlifting 😂
"men and women are competing against other men and women" is a weird way to phrase it.
Men compete against men.
Women compete against women.
but why those very different stance in powerlift and deathlift (very vide leg spred)
Don't really consider crossfit a strength sport, Highland games is the fourth sport. Crossift is a fitness sport that incorporatd things from the strength sports.
Ummm so you don’t know much about CrossFit. Tia Toomey is the woman’s CrossFit champ and an Olympic gold medalist.
@@jasonholman1209 compared to the other strenght sports crossfit isnt a strenght sport
@@jasonholman1209 2 years late, but she's not an Olympic gold medalist. She finished 14th... 42 kg behind 3rd place.
@@AdStellae- you are correct gold medal in commonwealth games. Still just to make it to that level and also be competing at CrossFit I would consider her a strength athlete.
Strongman is the head of all 📌
Strongman is only reserved for big people. As a 5’9, 170 lbs guy, I can never be a strongman athlete.
why's body building not in here
It's not a strength sports it's main focus is aesthetics.
Me judging the different types while eating pizza in bed 🤔
Please give a climber advice! Please answer my previous comment.
All that clarification and I’m still saying sumo isn’t a real DL
Wsm is best.. only strongman 💪
HAHAHAHA I just heard you mention wife carrying at the end, and it's actually the only sport I've taken part in of the ones listed here xDDD
I'm both a homebody and introvert. I'm into home fitness not exercising in public places at all. So which one do you think would be the best home exercise for me and my daily life needs and why?
Larry, powerlifting or weightlifting 🏋️, as you only really need a barbell, weights, rack, and a bench. I would recommend a decent lifting belt if you plan to lift heavy.
What is the difference between powerlifting and weight lifting?
I'm trying to lose weight and build up my muscles very slowly these days. I use light weights not heavy weights since I live in an one bedroom duplex apartment as a renter these days.
@@larrykuehn1972 I would personally suggest powerlifting. It requires less technique, and has a lower rate of injury. Unless you have a trained coach, it's almost impossible to perfect the clean and jerk, along with the snatch. It also makes less noise, which helps if you live next to someone
The difference is that strongman is the best.
Bring in the gymnasts❤
Can a 5 feet 4 inch muscular man compete in Strong Man ?
Maybe in a different weight class but most likely not in the open weight category. In that category, the smaller guys are around 5'8 and 275 pounds are considered the smaller athletes while the bigger ones range from 6'5-6'9 and somewhere around 300-420 pounds.
Get into olympic weightlifting unless u just want to have fun.
@@nootnootpenguino8586 I am 5'4" man I have guts to face Big.
Prince बखेद Oly Lifting and powerlifting favors short people
nah at that height it’s not possible to put on the same muscle mass the bigger guys have so you won’t be able to be strong enough
Lets be real, it’s offensive to call CrossFit s strength sport
I love eating like a caveman and training like a giant. That's my lifestyle past 11 years.
Jarosław Olech!!! Best
360p - thx ;)
Till now I thought weightlifting was a general term
Crossfit is the most athletic with the lowest weight, Strongman is the least athletic with the most weight. Weightlifting has the most standards and form requirements. Meanwhile Powerlifting is just ego lifting with terrible form.
Originally weightlifters are 3 lifts
Was this a flower power video cuz there were more clips of women lifting than men in what is a male-dominated sport.
Bodybuilding is for looks, well once apon a time bodybuilders looked like greek gods, now they just look like bubble wrap...
Weight lifting and power lifting is basically the same.
Crossfit is just gay af.

Strongman is for real badass giants!
How can people ever compare a disgussting pseudo SPORT (Crossfit) vs an olympic SPORT (Weightlifting)
Emmanuel Arce While Olympic lifting may be an established sport, I would like to point out that corruption is rampant in the highest levels of weightlifting
crossfit is disgraceful .
Weithlifting is the king
Weightlifting and strongman are my favorite
@@calebhu6383 mi too
Unfortunately Weightlifting is not allowed at my gym.
Why not Bodybuilding? 🗿
To sum: “a cross fitter might not be able to _____, but they might get close…” 😂
Difference is three of is a sport. Crossfit is not
Omg another asshole that that keeps talking without knowing or understanding anything
Firstly i dont understand crossfit too but show some respect. Crossfit athletes are in my opinion the most well rounded athletes in the world. So in my opinion crossfit is weird but still a sport and crossfit athletes deserve so much respect.
Joseph not really. i would have respect for them if they are humble and actually know how to execute with proper technique. they ruin the fitness industry
@@jjj-qj8lu Dude, they are the most laughable athletes in the world.
first time watching crossfit, the fuck they doing over there.
