  • In this video, I'm answering one of your questions from my Q&A, asking what I believe about the afterlife. It touches on my FAVORITE topics (😃), so let me know what you think and whether you believe in "life after death"! -Meorah

Hi Meorah, thank you for creating these videos. As someone that’s exploring Judaism and considering conversion on her own accord, it’s inspiring to see that it is absolutely possible and there are more people out there like me. Thank you

I really like the length of this video because I can easily watch it more than once and process it all. All I know or believe rather, is something is going to happen and it's going to be an adventure. This is such a good video!

I agree! I get really excited when I see different religious traditions aligning because it makes sense since "spirituality" has to be universal by nature.

i dont see it , it think a major tenant of Buddhism is the understanding that there is no self
enlightment is universal in the same sense that religion is.

Is the Kaballah teachings from the Torah, the Tanakh, or the Talmud? I have limited understanding on these different beliefs and traditions.
Is The Mishna the oral traditions that the Talmud came from?
Do teachers and rabbis share all of these teachings with all people?
Is the Kabbalah newer than the Talmud, Torah, and Tanakh?
    Is Kaballah a mystical religion?
Some of your comments of the Jewish religion and faith you share are similar to other belief systems and religions like Hinduism, esoteric Christianity, new age religions, paganism, witchcraft, and a few others.
Do the three major branches of modern Judaism - Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox hold these beliefs of reincarnation and other mystical teachings found in the Kaballah teachings?
Which of the three sects among the Jews: the Pharisees, the Sadducees, and Essenes, do you identify with or consider the foundation of your faith?
If there is a coming one world religion that promotes oneness with God the Source, and unites all people of all religions and belief systems, on the surface, that seems like a wonderful solution to all of the world’s problems, but the New Testament Bible and Christ Jesus warns us that the one world system will be controlled by Satan and his counterfeit messiahs: the Antichrist and his False Prophet, and deceive the whole world.
I believe only through faith in Christ Jesus and all that He said and did, can anyone of us live forever with Jesus and Father God in Heaven and all other ways lead to eternal separation from Jesus in Heaven and lead to eternal death and punishment in the Lake of Fire.
Jesus gave us all truth in His Word the Bible, and sends His Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us.
With love and hope I pray you consider this.
In the mighty and beautiful name of our Lord God, King , and Saviour; Christ Jesus, I pray: Amen, Hallelujah, Peace, and Maranatha.

I always thought or felt this deep down. So I guess I am both Christian and Jew. I do believe God sent Jesus, humanity needs Jesus. But I believe the Jewish God is the one true God but it is the same God Christians believe in both Old Testament and New. Am Yisrael chai.

Rabbi Avraham Trugman has written an excellent book on this subject. Highly recommended.
By the way, as for your recent struggles with identity in Israel: it is my understanding that many Korean Christian missionsries travel to Israel to proselytize to Jews. That may be a possible explanation why you get some negative feedback. Perhaps you need to wear your Judaism on your sleeve for a while until the locals become used to your presence.

I don't get the impression they're making that connection but I do appreciate the input! ...and I'd rather just be as I am than to try and persuade anyone that I'm Jewish. I just have to adjust to people's assumptions and make peace with it. I'm getting there!

Reincarnation is not halachah. Kabbalah is of pagan origin and Zohar is a forgery.

Kabbalah is very well established in the Jewish tradition.
Reincarnation -- which is a part of kabbalah -- is less understood or accepted.
There are louder doubts as to the origin of the zohar. Archeologists sometimes like to classify it as different books put together.
Nevertheless -- while it does contradict certain understandings of other denominations\sects of Judaism -- it is still highly integrated into mainstream Judaism.

    LOST.
    Watch the show.
It's a fictional metaphor for certain monotheistic understandings of soul development and reincarnation and correction, particularly Judeo-Christian.
... but don't read or see anything about the show!! Start at episode 1, and if it doesn't interest you, don't watch it.
Tv is stupid anyway, and a wiser life avoids it.
But if you are going to see tv anyway -- might as well see one of the best shows ever made.
