  • Today I hit the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes with Dustin St Aubin.
    Wabigoon is dirty, like fishing in a mud puddle but it holds giant muskies.

      Thanks for watching! It's a unique body of water to fish but the fish adapt. It's up to the angler to figure out how to tackle them!

    Great video Glenn, that water clarity makes stained water seem clear. Great breakdown, looking forward to the next video.

      Thanks for watching Mitchell, appreciate you always tuning in. It is a mud puddle, no doubt about it. But it holds true giants, so ya gotta try. We have some cool videos coming this fall!

    Awesome video as always. You’ve mentioned this in previous videos, but your breakdown on knowing where the current is going and how the muskies set up in it has helped me out so much this year!

      That's awesome! That's the goal with the breakdowns, help anglers understand their home waters! Appreciate you always watching!

    I absolutely love the break down! Great teaching moment. Much appreciated. I will likely not ever get there to fish but the principles are transferable. Thank you.

    Excellent video dude! I have heard stories of giants/records in that chain. Maybe someday I’ll have to try it, might even be next summer 🤞🏼.

      Thanks for watching brother, it's a cool lake but there are much nicer (looking) lakes in the area. However it is a place to witness for yourself for sure!

      Filthy doesn't begin to describe it, but it is fun. Hard to get a read on the fish though. I am a suck, I like my clear water fishing. lol

      You get use to it , and when you go to a clear lake. It’s like a treat. You can see the fish coming lol would love to know how many follows a guy actually gets out there but just can’t see them

      We are kinda of used to dirty water on Sabaskong, but it's not dirty all season and a person can normally still find some clearer water depending on wind direction. I

    Hi. I am planning on going for first musky on lotw this week. Out of kenora. Not super confident on the lake and want to troll. Any tips for that in the area? Depths, baits? Thanks a lot!

    • @54orbust
      @54orbust  2 роки тому +1

      LOTW is awesome, I do not know the Kenora end at all. Stick with trolling baits you are comfortable with, and understand the dive curve. Stick with a natural colour and a bright colour to start with. Main lake points and saddles between islands should be good areas to target. Good luck out there!

      @@54orbust thanks a lot. Game plan of troll shore lines until I find some weeds on bay outskirts to cast. Love the 54 second break downs.
