- The Zeus armor in God of War Ragnarok creates easily one of the best builds in New Game Plus, possibly the absolute best. We'll go over how to get the Zeus armor, some other armor you'll need, enchantments, runic attacks, weapon handles and more items you need in GOW Ragnarok New Game Plus.
Hopefully this video helps yo uput together a good Zeus build so you can melt some of these bosses in Ragnarok.

yes use the spiritual engraving it required 310 cooldown but that easy to get with the bezerker gauntlets instead of zeus gauntlets

I've been using this armour set for a few days, but I will say that I would recommend trying out putting all Berserker enchantments into the amulet. Doing this not only increases all of your stats by around 50 each, but it allows for another secret buff to be accessed. Similarly to if you were to put one enchantment from each realm in, this buff grants Kratos the 'Nine Realms' buff, as well as a 4-second realm shift. How you activate this is to simply use your rage. I would recommend using 'Fury' if you intend on using this, as it would allow for you to continuously grant the buffs (multiple 4-second realm shifts is insane). I would also use the Berserker King's relic, as it just does pretty good damage, whilst also keeping the enemy(ies) busy with continuous attacks. Either this, or the hilt of Meign, which increases Kratos' melee attacks (combine this with the 'Soulless' buff, with the zeus bonuses, with the 4-second realm shift, with the buff to 'Immolation'/'Permafrost'/Maestrom' with the 'Nine realms' buff)... Truly deadly.
@@MrPeasant213 It'll be pretty much the same thing, except upgrading everything to 10 and perhaps changing out some enchantments. Depends on what you want to make.
When I fought Gna in my first playthrough to get platinum, I didn't use any runic attacks because I always end up getting "For Asgard".

It’s not hard to dodge also use quicker runic attacks or idk I use the runes it’s pretty easy but also might be difficultly I’m on balance but on ng+ Ima go for god of war
At least it't not that annoyning as Sigruns "Valhaaaaaaaaaaaall" ;-) And it's quite unfair when they smash it in between a runic attack and you can't dodge it then

Where do you get these "berseker enchants
@@AverageLobotomite The Berserker enchantments are obtained by defeating the different Berserkers on NG+. Don't think it's difficulty-specific, but I got them on GMGOW+, so if you battle them on this, you should get them. It's probably not difficulty-locked, though.

@@AverageLobotomite Again, though, the only way to get the buff is to equip all of them, which means you will not be allowed any other enchantments that may provide Kratos with other unique abilities. Still, though, these buffs are insane.

Idk you guys but I'm enjoying a bit more the second run for Ragnarok in ng+ because I already know the puzzels and secrets so I don't get frustrated trying to resolve them...

For the Muspelheim enchants, I'm pretty sure the damage boost is still applied after you pop the triangle ability (furious immolation) and until it runs out. I was talking with people earlier and was assured this has been tested to be true. I think this makes Muspelheim definitely a better choice with this build than Asgard, especially since it's based on Runic stat which you have more of with this setup. Also, work in Spiritual Engraving if you can keep your cooldown at 310 - this is another 45% damage increase, more than the two Zues pieces together when you use 3 Runic attacks. I feel like a lot of people are over looking this enchant.
I pretty much used muspelheim enchants since the start since my build is making my permafrost/immolation/maelstrom gain super fast so I can use consume them to have a bust in damage ( L1 + triangle) and it mealts anything once I have it. Especially with the axe. I do like this builds but it’s too focused on one main attack. I do prefer to variety.

I’m using a defence stun build, currently sitting at 1076 defence and stun everything with one or two punches bare hands, weapons are quite fast to stun too, few hits.
So far I'm using all the survival armor pieces that are maxed out and my strength, defense and runic are all around 550, with the other stats close to being at full bars.

As much as my expertise is making op builds, I love a build I made and haven't uploaded based around dodges, with the new effect from the cloak of the black bear, I made an incredibly enjoyable build that is strong but not overpowered. That's is currently my favourite build, however the best build being permafrost with helheim, muspelheim, vanaheim enchantments, and handles and ronds that increase those stats required to make your enchantments op, and then using the berserker chest with the Zeus arms and waist and you've got the same mega build that was showcased killing gna in 10 or less seconds amplified with Zeus amour, this is much more viable then taking 2+ minutes to kill a boss. That's the best build I believe, and at some point once I fully finish my ng++ play through I will make a video on It. The build you've made here can also be amplified, and I did make a similar one myself not long ago, it is probably the second best build when it come to killing bosses asap.
I definitely need to practice the parry, triangle, R2 flame whiplash move and timing. any extra advice is much appreciated
I'm currently making two unique builds I haven't seen on youtube yet. A Hexflame (Blades of Chaos/Hex) build, and a BiFrost (Leviathan Axe/Bifrost) build. Both are supremely aggro, and abuses essentially double status damage. Any help would be cool, since I'm more fond of the Hexflame build, which takes more advantage of rage, but the BiFrost build has potential for cooldown advantage and staggering. Thanks again, and looking forward to the next video (Maybe something IcyHot).
Is Zeus armor only for ngp? Also if I don’t have the berserker set yet which should I use? I’m in my first playthrough I hear Lynda’s armor is good
Tbh we’re just getting started. I saw all the new enchantments and there are some insane ones you can combine. I’m willing to sacrifice three for those BROKEN ones

How do u get to the remnants of Asgard to the right of Fraya’s camp? I have been running round like an idiot trying to get to the part of Zeus’s armour. DAM!
When I fought Hrolf and Gna on my first run (which was also my platinum run) I didn't even care about special "builds" or using special enchantment, to have a special boosts or sth like that.
I used the Steinbjorn Armor to beat all the bersekers with all defense encreasing enchantments and for Hrolf and Gna, I switched to Vidars armor with all strength encreasing enchantments. Can't remember to have used L1+Triangle boost ever.
Now on NG+, I really need to take it up a notch and take care of perfect combinations for Gna, while for Hrolf, Steinbjorn armor was enough this time.
Whats really bothering me, is, you need to beat Gna for the last piece of it, because I always leave her for very last, so what's this special armor for then?
Note: this build is amazing but you can also use the spiritual engraving instead of boon of wrath. Because it goes so well with the seal of runic storm and then activating your relic.

For the shield I love rond of obliteration for the valkarie shards that home in on any enemy like little missles and there’s no cooldown.

I'm not very good at god of war. I have finished the main story and most of the end game side quests (save some of the berserker and the valkery queen) if I start New Game + at an easier difficulty, can I still get the Zeus Armor?
Im busy maxing out currently everything I own before starting NG+ GMGOW because I want to start off with the best items first and work from there rather than slowly upgrade later on
I did this aswell and it payed off i platinumed the game
you can start ng+ and buy all the resources you need, but I also did what you did and it payed off early game so do whatever haha

Use this build for my runic attacks, then switch back to my defence build with 1,000 defence, which causes crazy stagger damaged due to having an amulet that increases stagger based on defence.

Wait.... I have to complete remnants of asgard to get the waist and gauntlets. So this means I have to complete the game AGAIN first? Because remnants is end game favors

I think I found a better one: You need to have the Berserker chestplate + the Vidar's arms and the dragon waist
I'm playing on give me no mercy and this build literally destroyed the 3 vikings whatever their names are but I'm dying easily and I'm trying to get used to it
But on your 2nd playthrough you can get the armour you missed which includes the beserker set

im just played Ragnarok ngplus story about nearly halfway.....but my stats are - STRENGH 621/ DEFENSE 642 / RUNIC 382 / VITALITY 340 / COOLDOWN 218 AND LUCK 255....im played normal mode and even all boss like easy for me...too damn easy...i felt very strong......🤣🤣
How can you got this from what difficult?
They need to add more difficult bosses so that way it makes the game much more fun. Looks like Gna and king berserker are the only hard bosses to defeat.
I used the exact build with only slight changes with shield, enchantments are the same, armor set is the same, spamming the hell out of the flame whiplash too. But it only did like a quarter to the berserker king. What am i doing wrong?

I beat the game easily with the survival armor. To me, that's the best armor in the game
i'm on my first play through and I've done everything in this games besides defeat Gna and The Berseker king.
Hey I think this comment might help alot of people! If you lock on to an enemy, especially for boss fights, artillery of the ancients will follow and throw onto the lock on. Plus if you spam triangle you get a ton of spear explosions

the only change i would make on this if i was gonna use it is that instead of bifrost enchantment i would use the enchantment that gives a stacking melee and runic damage buff after 3 runic attacks
he used that its seal of runic storm
@@munchie6877 no runic storm just summons the bifrost, im talking about a different enchantment edit: its the spirtual shoulders stacking 15% damage buff lasts for like 17 secs per stack

using the base armors at level 10 and base weapon attachments theres enough stats its pretty fun

I ain't get the berserk thing when I killed them
I love this game but ive realized that once you beat the game and start doing end game stuff on the harder difficulties, the only way you can beat the tougher bosses is just doing the same couple moves over and over.. im not saying its easy because its fucking not, but the basic game plan is make a build centered around 2 or 3 moves and using the right relic and keep using those 2 or 3 moves over and over... i miss the older god of wars sometimes
You do same damage as beserker armour plus you get VIT, COOL, LUCK, RNC buffs also
You def do more damage with 2 if the zeus armor pieces. It's been tested by several people.

@alexrossi5441 Aside from my own testing, the proof is here in this video. Berserker chest with zeus arm/waist does higher damage. But if you're not using a relic then yes zeus will do more damage.

i am on balance and i have 451 strength yet im still taking quite a few blows to kill a basic enemies this is new game blus btw and im in the first realm you go to with the gizers is this normal cause this guy with less strength is tearing threw bosses
runic is the most important stat not strength
@@1hit2hitown wym without strength i dont do damage? and there is no way for me to have a lot of runic and strength at the same time one or the other hase to take charge so its not really an option.
@@zachwilson6124 The musphelheim armour. Use immolation and permafrost builds to learn the value of runic as a stat, then u can understand.
Just started NG+, I actually like the game a lot now that I don’t really care about the story (the disappointing part of the game)

if you think that's bad i deleted my first save slot thinking i was starting ng+ and had to replay it twice after
I don't know why ppl think the Zeus armor is the best and strongest when it's clearly not and not even ares or berserker are stronger than the dragon scale chest piece is 140 both strength and defense when Zeus is only 125 defense and the vidars wrist have the highest stat and vidars waist is better than most also. I think the raven tear chest is like 170.
I did this build and it did not work
This does NOT do even close to the damage when facing the king and gna on No Mercy. I've tried this to the T, even tried changing with vidars armor to Zeus and luminous recovery handles/cursed empress/obsidian.
This DOES work on all other berserkers.
I'm on new game + with strength at 700 and defence at 500.
If you're using a jail broken ps, cheats can be applied, where this damage is easily done which makes me think if this is done that way. No disrespect to the uploader

I tried this, and I'm impressed. However, it's too complicated to use. So if you aren't ready to know what the heck you're doing in combat, then I wouldn't recommend this

I got mine at 740, only bc I don't want to sacrifice vitality and defense to get the extra strength, but even at 740 most enemies dies super fast.

The Zeus armor and the berserker together is not the best because you still take way too much damage
you need to use 9 realms to slow down time to help not take damage.

Would the deadly obsidian handles not be a good option for the blades of chaos? I feel like that pure strength would be really solid
Also, maybe the Niflheim set of enchantments would be a good set to use since it scales off of Defense which is a lot higher then all the other stats
Cursed Empress Handle increases kratos strength and runic when the buff is activated, i mean it depends on your playstyle
I just defeated Gná and Hrolf on New Game + amd at Give me a GoW difficulty. Don't do it. Really.

It's weird that you didn't test this on GMGOW difficulty before making this video. its almost like you lack the skill to get through that difficulty in the first place. you didn't do your due diligence, and have a well earned dislike.
Hel's touch stuns everyone, even on GMGOW, unless they have the runic armor buff active. The 'Thrust of a Thousand Soldiers' runic attack is generally trash because it pushes them back out of range; which is why Gna was able to attack you during your animation. A better runic attack that late in the game is the one that generates tornadoes.
