I've had a lot of failures with the T4's and T6's. They're nice and easy to install but the problem seems to be the relays or maybe they have solid state relays on them. The most common failure is the Y or W output, also have had heat pumps lose Aux heat or even Y signal. The absolutely most reliable non-WiFi thermostat I've used is the FocusPro 5000 large number display. I keep on one my truck. They're easy to setup and can be setup for 2 heat 2 cool conventional systems or heat pump systems. They have actual relays on the board that can handle large commerical rooftop units. I think this was also a big problem with the Nest thermostats, they used these cheap FET's in the base to control outputs, and they quickly burned out on commericial package units with big 3 pole contactors etc. For a WifI thermostat, the Honeywell VisionPro series are good like the 9000's. They're a little more expensive, but very solid units, I like them for commercial applications, I can put the thermostats in the office in a restaurant, then put RedLink wireless sensors and hide them out in the building. Keeps customers and employees from playing with the thermostats without a big ugly lockbox that can just be tampered with with a butter knife.
We use a lot of Lutron thermostats (with zoned hot water systems (Taco valves and relays) and air handlers) and some Ecobee and in larger residential its all BACnet control systems with Lutron lighting and Crestron UI. Can not agree more on NEST - we always throw them out right away and they never work right on geothermal anyway correctly or will not restart after a long power failure which in Canada means burst pipes.
Honeywell Wifi 9000 best Wifi touchscreen thermostat. Ecobee is a solid option too. I find the Honeywell controls temperature more tightly, but the features are good and seem to be reliable. Stay away from Nest, had some Nests actually damage customers equipment!
We had issues with our Ecobee's and got rid of them both.

Very informative. Which Honeywell thermostat? Does it have wifi?
I like the Honeywell T10.
