Bro no shame. This game is HARD AF without mimic tear late game. Your playthrough will be 10 times longer if you don't use it. They made the mobs and areas ridiculous late game. Its even harder than dark souls 3. I used max level mimic tear. 😂ill admit that shit

There will always be a way to cheese a boss no matter how hard they appear. That's the beauty. I think the DLC is gonna be an eye opener. I don't think bleed builds are going to work very well. I haven't watched any spoiler content tho.
@@eddycd24 the thing that makes bleed work no matter what is the fact that resistance values don't alter the result of the bleed proc. if bleed resistant bosses took correspondingly lower % HP of damage when they DO bleed, then the builds relying on that would be significantly less effective against them.
Fromsofts pretty lenient with the modding community hell possibly generous.

I love this boss. I never found him as hard as other people did. Struggled way harder on malenia. Perhaps its build dependent?!
Melania is the hardest boss in Elden ring. Ofcource she is harder than this boss
Usually a blind playthrough would lead you to Maliketh around lvl 110-120. I feel like a lot of people just end up fighting him a bit overleveled or they've seen other people fight him. His moveset isn't as diverse as someone like Malenia so if you've seen a video or two of him then his tells become kind of obvious. He was for sure meant to be a major roadblock for late game in the first couple months of release but his second phase not having a full health bar and his lack of diverse attacks made him kind of easy to learn.

I struggled with the Elden Beast. My Bloodhound Fang doing melee up close with just wrecked me.
She's hard cos of her bs waterfowl. It's one of the most atrociously designed moves in gaming.

It's too late now but 90% of the bosses in this game are optional. But the tree sentinel though not required, is best to beat before maliketh if you use or intend to use summons. That's only cause summons for some reason are stupid as hell most of the time and will try and attack the sentinel instead of maliketh.

you do have to realize that in most of those matches, the modder nerfed melania hard and took away her healing in a few matches and I believe one of those matches was the maliketh fight. Buffed the hell out of the soldier of godrick boss. Though She did get beat by radahn only cause she started where the player starts and just got stagger fucked by radahns arrows, but she ended up beating him in the second cause it turned into a hand to hand fight.

You pick new things up a lot quicker than a few other large streamers. It might not be the most healthy thing in the world, but souls games have helped people through some very dark times.

This game goes from fun and immersive to literally running past half the enemies to get to the bosses to save your runes. Mimic tear can help for sure. No shame using it in late game nick. I skipped half the enemies lmao. Ain't nobody got time for that as an adult that has to go to work.

Ffs he isn't nerfed. Stop with this bs. They fixed his accidental nerf and they just fixed his hitboxes over all. He isn't any weaker than he originally was.
I genuinely get a little sad watching people shred through these main bosses with the mimic. You don't even get to see most of their awesome move sets. Obviously you can do it if you want, it's in the game but I have so much fun fighting the main bosses solo. I still use the mimic in the open world and on a lot of mini bosses though. Malenia was the only exception. She killed me 42 times and I couldn't take that bs anymore lol

if anyone is here sat complaining about Mimic tear or overpowering it with levels, is just being negative The game is literally designed for you to make it as easy or as hard as you want it. Unless you level 1 no hitting the entire game then just enjoy the content.

Clear the game however you feel like Nick, most of these people ran through the game with either 1 shot strength builds, Bleed build Katanas (just like you’re using) and or EZ mode Magic.
Literally just play the game how you like, once you’ve gotten past the half way point your build should make the rest of the bosses easy (being overleveled helps too) but you’re pretty much guaranteed to beat this game already considering how much progress you’re making every video.
