Thank you so much for a fun, happy, and amazing 2023 together. 🥳🙌🏾 I can't wait to show you what recipes I have in store for 2024! ❤I hope you love this video of me answering your Top Questions of the year. Happy New Year to each of you! 🎉❤✌🏾
Just found you about 2 months ago appreciate the work you put in.
Any chance you could drop some keto-vegan recipes similar to Heavenly Fan channel?? Thank you for everything
Dido
I am not vegan, but I'm so grateful the algorithm brought me to your channel recently, and I'm looking forward to making the dishes in 2024 🎉 and improving my cooking skills and health. Thank you 🫶🏾 ♌️❤️🔥
Thank you for being such a wonderful beacon of light and positivity. 💜💜💜
❤️🙏🏾
Thank you for sharing so much of yourself and your outlook. So many of the questions you received were about bulking up and gaining physique, which was completely off my radar…until I realized it is 100% relevant. See, I’ve been living with a severe illness for most of the year, and I’ve lost so much weight that my body burned my muscles as the last bit of fuel it had, and I’m down to 92 pounds. It is hard to find recipes that won’t leave me shaking and exhausted after being at the stove for 30 minutes, that are easy to digest, are healthy, and taste good enough to make me want to eat when I’m nauseated most of the time. I realized quite a number of your recipes have been in high rotation while I kept my food diary, so thank you so much for this. I’m not exaggerating when I say your channel has let me reclaim some of my health, so I am in your debt. Thank you, seriously.
I’m working with a dietician who is helping me find ways to add calories in a healthy way, and he’s been very supportive of my plant-based meal planning. Your recipes have gotten a thumbs up from a hospital dietician, which is awesome! It will be a long road ahead before I’m back to even half strength, but I’m so grateful to have the blessings I do, and I realize how lucky I am. Best wishes for the year ahead, and stay creative and adventurous.
🥹❤️🙏🏾 I'm really happy to hear you're working with a dietitian and that they are supporting your diet. That should be really helpful. Reading this really move me. I certainly will keep creating with this in mind. ❤️
Well, my dear, that's the first time I've ended one of your videos with tears in my eyes, but I'm not mad about it. Thank you for all the delicious recipes and inspiration. Wishing you, your beautiful family, and of course, Baby Whisk a very happy and delicious New Year.
🥹 Ur so welcome! Thank for you the continuous love and support! HNY to you and yours! ❤️
That was very deep about the baby whisk. I love in “believe in good”. I to had a tough childhood. My mom was widowed very young with two babies to raise alone. Thank God for hard work and determination we made it in life
When I was a meat eater and was working out I would hurt so much the next day. I hated it. I thought how do people go through this amount of muscle pain??
Then I went plant based and it took me a month to realize after heavy weight sessions I wasn't hurting!! No inflammation from the food I was eating. Game changer!! So I understand your gains after you went vegan. Recovery is so much easier. Vegan for life🎉🎉🎉
2023 was my year of Andrew Bernard. I didn't really plan it that way, but I ended up never missing a Sunday. There is just something very magnetic about you. Here's to more in 2024!! 🥂 🍾 Happy New Year to you and your family (including your UA-cam "family").
😍 thats so amazing!! 🥹 Thank you so SO much!! HNY 🎉❤️
Awww, Andrew! Thanks for sharing these parts of your story. I really connect to the "believe in good" sentiment. AND it is SO HARD to learn I think, especially late in life. I'm someone who has had more struggles later in life, and so developing a practice like the one you talk about here has been difficult for me and something that I'm going to be putting into practice this year, because I believe that it is so important not only for our survival but our thrival. Thank you for always being present and real with your audience! Many blessings and peace to you and your family in this coming year. xoxo
you're so right... its gonna be really difficult. and you wont be perfect or completely consistent. but its ok. i believe in you, you got this! HNY to you and yours! ❤️🙏🏾🎉
@@thenarddogcooks thx man ❤️
Thank you for what you do. I don’t even remember how I stumbled across one of your videos, but I’m so thankful I did. My husband and I have been plant based for quite a while now, probably close to 10 years. I’ve made 3 of your recipes now and am certainly going to make more. I still can’t believe you don’t like mushrooms though 😂. I’m looking forward to seeing what you and your wife bring to us in 2024.
Thanks Andrew! Looking forward to more great recipes, beautifully done videos, more baby whisk, more little helping hands, and your most special guest aka mom. Hoping for continued growth and success for you in 2024! Blessings to you and your family!!
Same to you! More to come for sure! Thanks for being here ❤️
Love your “Believe in good” brand and philosophy. I imagine your growing up story would encourage and inspire and help people grow. Do consider a book.
I've been watching your videos since the first one. You are a regular part of my Sunday with few exceptions. It's not hard to believe how you got here. You implemented the "Baby Whisk Philosophy". As spirit beings, the act of exploring those things that get placed on our hearts will take us unimaginable places. Being the Baby Whisk and exploring life through love and curiosity is the key to a beautiful life with an unimaginable depth of meaningful complexity. When I think about what brings me back every week, it's multiple things... 1) You help me better understand how to use spices and seasonings. 2) While I don't make many of the recipes, I find them influencing my own techniques in meal creation. Because of you, garam masala, coconut milk and roasted tomatoes have found a permanent spot in the cupboard. 3) The Nard Dog Cooks allows YOU to shine. The care, kindness and compassion within you shines through in everything. 4) I absolutely love it when you share personal stories and a true video highlight was when you shared Mom with us. What a treasure. And finally; 5) You remind me every week to BELIEVE IN GOOD. Thank you for being a bright spot / beacon on the internet. Stay beautiful and amazing and as always... PEEEEEEEEEAAAAAACE!
This made me tear up. I take notes like this from you and the rest of our amazing community/family and read them when I am having an off day. Its super inspirational and helps me remember everything will be okay. ❤️🙏🏾
Aww, I love the explanation behind the baby whisk. I always look forward to the moment you find it in the videos. I hope you get some offers you like better for a recipe book, but if your ever write Believe in Good, I'll buy and read that as well. Take care!
❤Thank you foe the valuable information
Peace & Blessings🙏🏽I’m 42 & still call my mom “mommy” as well lol. Thankful to you for your vegan falafel recipe I discovered in 2023!

I just found you recently and I love this! I have been vegan for almost 14 years. Now I have a good source of recipes! Thank you! A cook book is a great Idea!!!! I would buy it.

Never stop saying believe in good. The more one says it, the more one believes in it and good changes happen. Amen.

You are so welcome! HNY to you and yours! ❤️🙏🏾
Hi! What about instead of a publishing company, just making a download able pdf that we pay for. I've done that with another Canadian vegan on UA-cam that I love. I'd be down to buy it! Skip the middle man baby!
certainly a great idea! the family and i were talking about it a few weeks ago when another company reached out. hearing (reading about) you say it helps me feel better about going that route. thank you so much!! 🙏🏾
Love you and your channel so much! Thanks for all you do. Every week I look for your videos, and it feels like I'm getting ready to hang out with family. ❤
I appreciate you answering my question... happy new year!

Thanks Andrew for taking time to answer some of the questions. It was very informative. 😊
🙏🏾 thank you!!
For those who are interested in building muscle, you might want to check out Derek at Simnett Nutrition. He has a UA-cam and website and is a long-time vegan who works out a lot and is very ripped. His channel includes recipes/nutrition and workout tips.
and Gaz Oakley too. And I imagine if Andrew ever took his shirt off we'd see similar results in his physique too!
❤️

"Believe in good" is radical. So many of us only see what's awry.
true indeed!
I look forward to your video about working out and veganism . I really enjoy your videos and love making and eating your recipes.
What’s up & Happy New Year 🎊🎈…..
My Guy what’s your beard care routine ❓Bruv I am trying to grow my beard
I really appreciate and love what you said at the end. Not sure what your faith views are, but a lot of what you said is Very similar to Jesus' teachings. TheBibleProject has some really cool animation videos that cut through the misinterpretations that people have. I absolutely love your videos man and I deeply respect the good work that you're doing. Keep at it!
Believe in good 😊
I'm 56 year old male, 6'6" and 230lbs down from 410lbs. I was able to achieve the weight loss in 3 years through Gastric Sleeve surgery. I am looking to get into a vegan lifestyle. My problem is I need to get at least 100g of protein a day. I need to do so through smaller meals because I can only consume a smaller than aveage meal size. Thanks for any help you can provide.
thanks for sharing! ill keep this in mind as i am writing/creating for that video about building muscle/weight gain, etc.
"Believe in Good" is a mantra (!) for a happy, productive life. I admit the past 8 years have been ones of despair and depression for me. I'd hoped that would end when the White House changed residents. But not so. Chaos has continued and I find that the only way to peace and joy is through a positive outlook, playing the long game and believing in the overarching Good that IS out there.
Thank you for reminding me that it is so.
Re: the soy for a big man question. Makes me wonder if he's worried about the feminizing "soy boy" lies out there. From what I've heard from sources I trust, that could be an issue for the highly processed meat analogs. But if one is sticking to "close to the farm" soy products like tofu and tempeh, there should not be any issues with eating those along with higher caloric foods to satisfy a larger person.
Well said! You're amazing! thank you so much! ❤️🙏🏾
@@thenarddogcooks Thank you back! Speaking for myself (and I believe many others) positive, balanced folks like you and Larisha were lifelines for so many of us during the dark times of Covid isolation. I personally appreciate you so much for all you've given to us, and continue to do. Sometimes being vegan can feel quite isolating too. It really helps to know of others who feel and eat the same, that we're really not crazy fools. Thank you, and to all: Happiest and best year yet!!!
Just found you about 2 months ago appreciate the work you put in.
Any chance you could drop some keto-vegan recipes similar to Heavenly Fan channel?? Thank you for everything
Ill try keeping in my as I create/design recipes. thanks for being here! 🙏🏾
You are one of my favorite vegans.
🙌🏾🙏🏾
I LOVE BABY WHISK
Do you take any vitamin supplements?
Baby Whisk!
I think people really do not comprehend how power DNA is when it comes to muscle building and look. I havent seen this "Jacked" picture but you seem to look well in shape. Protein does matter when it comes to gaining lean mass. Veganism works best for endurance sports. Not so good for bodybuilding unless you eat a crazy amount of meals a day. Even still the amount of protein from most plant foods is half of what is recorded.
I have chronic kidney disease, celiac and type 1 diabetes. my nephrologist suggests eating plant based, and I've tried, but need some help. I'm currently 95% pescatarian. Help, please!!
Can you answer this question please... why is there so much sodium in vegan foods and where do you go to shop for sodium free vegan foods if any?. I don't want high blood pressure. Thanks.
Yeah, that's actually a really good question! So I'm not completely sure if you're talking about vegan packaged & product type foods? If so, then, there isn't any more sodium in a vegan TV dinner in comparison to one that's not. But on the flipside, if you're talking about a vegan burger (or vegan cheese or similar stuff) and comparing it to a traditional burger (or cheese or similar stuff), then I completely understand where you're coming from! And the reason that would be is because a vegan burger is made up of several ingredients oh, and then salt, preservatives, etc. are added to it. As for a traditional burger, only coming from one source. With that being said, I would say, sit the package foods down and only touch them seldomly.
When I cook, I will rarely use a packaged items such as vegan cheese, vegan butter, etc.. 99% of my recipes here are made from Whole Foods. Therefore, you can control the amount of salt\sodium in the recipe. I don't want high blood pressure either although it does run strong in my family. So eating this way I've tried to make more exciting to help those trying to avoid such issues.
Ah ok. Thank you for answering. I will try that but now i just wish they lower these prices cause I would love to vegan every day while getting enough to eat.
I'm loving the beard and I'm inspired to go vegan for better hair and body health. Go ahead and cry🥲
🙌🏾🙏🏾 TYSM!!
I'm not crying...you're crying...
🥹❤️... no, you are! 🫶🏾
Does a long beard contribute to kitchen hygiene or is it more of a source of danger?😂
Get right with Christ before it's to late. For those with eyes to see are paying attention to the world falling apart and nobody can stop bible prophecy regardless how normal things may still seem where ever people live......The kingdom of heaven is at hand best believe. Peace and blessings 🙏🏾
Oh, it's the OTHER the office,
I don't know what a nard is . . .
You should chat with Natalie Matthews @fitveganchef. Last year, she put out a digital cookbook, and I'm pretty sure everything was done without outsourcing. ❤
Derek Simnett also does downloadable e-cookbooks, and I'm pretty sure he does his own as well. I've bought several cookbooks from both people and would definitely buy yours!
