I have a pack of those silicone mask inserts and they are WONDERFUL! I think they were called 'lipstick guards' when I bought them. I'm sure it will keep your lipstick intact and off your mask, but I love the extra room it gives so the mask isn't directly touching my mouth and nostrils when I breathe in. I also have a pack of silicone ear savers, so it's soft against my neck and doesn't get tangled in my curls like the plastic ones I tried before. Since both items are medical grade silicone, they can be sanitized before and after each use. Highly recommend both!
Yes they are amazing. All these mask accessories I never knew existed before now is really incredible lol. The other ear guards I linked that I use are silicon as well so yes definitely easy to clean. Thank you for watching 😍
I just used the plastic square bread bag ties. Just hook the ear ties onto it and cinch the ear elastic clasp tight to it. Don't have to go buying ear savers 😁 The zip ties thing though... gotta find some to try it.

Ah thank you Yes! Thats my everyday go to look lately. Quick, easy and mask approve lol Yes! Those clothes masks steal all makeup off your face so the guards help with that and that silcone guard really makes it so you can wear lip products with no issue.
Really helpful tips. I bought the frames/guards for inside our masks and they help so much. My cousin is a waiter and he said it saved his life this summer. Also you can get them cheaply on eBay. Look for the "new and improved style" which is a bit more open and even more breathable. Also if your ears chafe, the 'friction sticks" meant to keep your shoes from causing blisters are great and help a lot. Dr. Scholl's makes a good one. The zip tie hack is a great idea. The South Koreans have the KF94 mask which keeps it off your lips, forms a good seal on your face, and blocks 94 percent of particulates. I've been using them since the beginning.
I’ve been using the zip ties in the middle seam for a couple months; ordered the “frames” today to wear under masks that the zip tie doesn’t work in. Great reviews and information.
For the shell, I actually made it thinner by trimming it by 1/8" more. Plus a little strip of double sided foam take down the center to keep it in place on the mask. Make sure you CLEAN it!
I just lay the zip tie between the 2 layers & sewed a channel around the perimeter of the zip tie to lock it in place. I tried to sand off & smoith the tips so it doesn't poke thru the cloth after washing it twice.
Thx for these great tips and information. The 1st inserts you showed are basically the same as the Bamboo Coffee filters. I've bought the filters and cut my own patterns to insert (2 layers) in the pocket of my mask. You can wear them the same way as you showed against your face.

I wear VAPOR SOOTHERS under my mask and I can finally breathe with a mask on. its essential oils in these little clips that you wear in your nose and it makes it so much easier to breathe.
Great video. Thank you. I am a little worried about putting essential oils directly against one's face/nose,however, no matter how little of it is used. They are not meant for this and can be very irritating and in some cases, toxic (depending on the type and brand), so I would skip this part.

I'd say be very, very careful with the essential oils if you have a plastic mask, some will probably act as a solvent and ruin the filtering properties

Oh what is your secret for that pretty hair. My hair is naturally curly. I don't like it really. I'm straighten it out on purpose. But, I now try to take it easy on the heat. Not my thing for curls since I was younger. I didn't like my hair. Now of days its a thing. I'm trying something new and might try the curls again in my hair as a style. Idk I'll look right? But, its worth a try. Get out my comfort zone. 🌼

The cheek sheet looks like a coffee filter...guess what I’m going to try.
Lol they do look like them but don't feel like them at all. They actually feel like large face blotting papers. Super soft and smooth.

Plastic canvas circle. Cut a v in the top about 1 inch apart sew it , tack it to your mask , forms around the nose. Holds it off tour nose and mouth.
