I know that some people will say “Mike is just being a hater because the competition took his customer”. But as the owner of a service based business myself (commercial cleaning) I also get frustrated when I see other companies charging next to nothing for commercial cleaning. Partially because it devalues our industry as a whole, but also because I know that these companies charging way less than the work is worth will be out of business in the future, and the legacy they will leave behind is creating misconceptions about the value of the work we do. Pretty much 20 times out of 20, when I talk to prospective clients and they tell me that they HATE the company that cleans for them, it is a company that is charging dirt cheap prices, and thus, can not provide quality work at those prices.
The fortunate thing is I don't care if we lose a job here or there because we have tremendous lead flow, we have more jobs than we can handle, and if somebody wants a cheaper price, that's cool, I don't care because I can fill their spot with somebody that will pay what I need to make. We can't control what other people do, we can only control our prices, and I will not bend the knee, I will not lower my prices because somebody doesn't know what they're doing..

The video previous video where Mack “almost quit” was awesome for me. I watched it and literally the next day customer asked my tech to do the same thing. I told her I’ve never done it before, charged her low cause it was a learning experience, and she was super happy.

true story. One neighbor I priced a house wash for $350 and the home was 1,800 sf two stories. The next door neighbor, one month later, I priced it for $650 and the homeowner didn't question it. They are both identical homes, not one difference.
It's amazing what can happen when you actually push Price right?
@@AllAboutPressureWashing it truly is. Last weekend was my best yet. 2 roof cleanings, one in Gainesville on Lake Lanier and one in Marietta, $2,100 on just Saturday, maybe 4 hours of work.
