I love those wheels and the sound of raw power under the hood. My first car was a 1969 GTX, 440, white with blue interior. Wish I still had it.

BEAUTIFUL GTX!!!!!!.....I OWNED A 69 GTX/440,4-spd BACK IN THE DAY,I WISH THAT I'D NEVER SOLD IT!!!!! I STILL MISS THAT CAR,THEY WERE SPECIAL!!!!!!

I can't believe that they could actually put a HEMI in a convertible. Most don't know that the roof is part of the whole reinforcing of a Unibody car like the RoadRunner / GTX. They had to do some SERIOUS underbody reinforcing in this car !

I believe this car used to be in Vancouver in the early 80’s, used to drop by where all the car guys hung out on Friday nights. It was a very Mopar oriented group, I had my 70 Hemi Super Bee, they were good times, the cars were special, but not so special that they couldn’t get run hard.

I wonder if this is the car I bought in 1969... ordered from the factory. It took 6 months for delivery. Mine was an Tor. auto. too. Awww. Mine had the same rims and color. Top was white with white interior....

I loved all the things, wheels, sweet sound but the convertible??nahh it ruined the look, these racy body cars doesn't look great in convertible Avatar and neither in vinyl rooftop too! But this was new to me that RR aka GTX also came in 426, there is been stupid comparison about supremacy of 440 VS 426, often 440 gets the lovers most but I think they both have their own places but I am a guy who loves to stick to tradition-culture, so I am a praiser of 426 RR!

I don't like the tapping in the Hemi motor , I'll keep my 440 thank you .....
