My heart trembles to hear this great song of David Bowie by Chris Martin. Everyday, Chris is very talented. Would be amazing to do acoustic versions of songs David as a tribute. It really is fantastic. Not everyone can sing songs of him as Chris.

I love the way this sounds... I like it more than the original (blasphemy, I know) but that's also because I'm a huge fan of Coldplay and Chris Martin on a piano (Everything's Not Lost, Amsterdam, Fix You, The Scientist, Everglow etc.)

Entirely good interview that showed the side of Chris Martin that was unknown...at least to myself and I am sure many probably in the US. Truly a humble Englishman with talent and a heart--a quality seen nowadays with so few. He did not come off in any way as egotistical, nor self-absorbed. He was probably "cold there in the shadow." Seen him in the video with Brian Wilson's "God Only Knows" with the BBC...not too good to join in for the love of music.
That is one of my favorite performances done on the Stern Show.

Lee Robson yeah, of course he did. What I'm trying to say is, chris martin has an amazing falsetto, it's what he's famous for. Why belt those high notes instead of letting them slide onto his head voice?
EDIT: Upon listening to this cover again, I take it back. He was singing in his head voice all throughout the chorus. Perhaps he could've done the same before and after the chorus, but still, a pretty cool cover.
