even despite the differences and how each version were produced, every single one just sounds as they should. everything from even the obscure recordings of a single set, made for bootleggers to this one that probably rung out through the homes of hundreds.
They did a whole 4 song set for the BBC - this was just one of the four. Wouldn’t say it’s “better” than the album, but like the other three they did it was a creative, brilliant alternative take that made what I imagined would be a largely impossible album to play live at the time, into a tangible “oh shit. Not only did they make the sgt peppers of our time. They figured out a way to do it real, heart wrenching justice live” experience. Especially Idioteque. Extra especially the SNL live performance.
this recording had such a poignant affect on someone that they confused their ability to be moved into an emotional state as negative discomfort and thumbs down the video. cheers to that
This is beautiful of course, but I don't agree that it's the best version of this song. They captured lighting in a bottle with the album version. I've yet to see it replicated to such a perfection. Which, personally, I see nothing wrong with.
Greatest version of this song ever recorded. The stuff at the end is just... woah. So emotional.
Dude, this version is outstanding as shit. For me, this is the greatest version of "How to Disappear Completely".
+Bruno Olivares He didn't make it.
@@ToneLa who didn't make it?
No point in arguing which version is better, if you love Radiohead then all versions should be appreciated ❤️
I keep coming back to this version, it just does so much for me.
Oh my days, this song.
